Israel's Students for Temple Mount Organization called on the newly-appointed police inspector general Roni Alsheikh to raise the Israeli flag over a police station at Muslims' the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.
The request also comes at a time when an Israeli MK from the Jewish Home party suggested a bill to allow Israelis to pray at al-Aqsa Mosque.
Students for the Temple Organization sent a letter to the Israeli police inspector general voicing hope to see the Israeli flag flying over al-Aqsa.
According to the Israeli law, the Israeli flag must be raised over all government institutions.
The police said the request is being considered and an answer would be soon sent to the concerned parties.
Meanwhile, five MKs signed a bill calling for allowing Jews to pray at al-Aqsa Mosque.
Prominent Islamic figure in 1948 occupied Palestine and deputy head of the Israeli-outlawed Islamic Movement, Sheikh Kamal al-Khatib, warned of such Judaization bids, saying al-Aqsa Mosque will forever remain for Muslims' only.

Two Israeli settlers on Wednesday evening launched a drone equipped with a camera over Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to the Director of al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani, the plane kept hovering over Bab al-Rahma and the walls of al-Aqsa before it was detected by the supervision staff.
Al-Kiswani warned of the serious repercussions of such a practice, which is the fourth of its kind during the last couple of years.
Al-Kiswani held the Israeli occupation police responsible for such practices by the Israeli settlers.
“It has become easy (for the settlers) to install explosive devices into planes and slam them into the holy al-Aqsa,” Sheikh al-Kiswani added.

Israeli settlers from the illegal Metarim industrial zone, located to the east of Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, flooded land belonging to Palestinians.
Bahjat Jabarin, Project and Proposal Manager of Environmental Quality Authority in Hebron, said the illegal settlement of Metarim includes four factories for soap, stone cutting, mineral oils and aluminum.
WAFA correspondence reported that, in the last two days, settlers intentionally discharged a huge amount of wastewater produced in these factories to farmers’ lands, which Palestinians use for agricultural purposes, said Jabarin.
He added that the settlement directorate took over dozens of acres of the land and planted solar cells in the area.
Khirbet Zanuta, which was flooded with wastewater, is rich with archaeological sites and is inhabited by 30 families living in caves and tents. The families make their living through raising animals and agriculture.
The inhabitants of this area suffer from the constant risk of displacement and prosecution by the Israeli army and settlers, in addition to restricting their access through shutting down the main road leading to the Khirba.
It is located five kilometers east of Dhahiriya, adjacent to al-Samu' town on the bypass road linking to Kiryat Arba, Ariel, Shima, and Tene settlements and the Beersheba crossing.

Israeli Media has released a video showing a wedding celebration, in which a masked Orthodox youth is holding up a firebomb while another is seen stabbing a photo of Ali Dawabsha, the toddler who was killed in a Douma arson attack, this past July.
According to Haaretz, the video was filmed at an Orthodox wedding three weeks ago.
The clip, which aired on Channel 10 news Wednesday night, shows that amid classical wedding dancing, guests with ear locks and kippas, skullcaps, danced with guns and knives. One masked youth held up a firebomb. Another is seen stabbing a photo of the Dawabsha toddler, Ali.
According to the report, the wedding was of a couple “very well known in the radical right.” The couple’s friends who were dancing were described as being friends of the suspects in the Dawabsha murders. IDF-issue rifles and licensed pistols were passed around at the reception from hand to hand, including to children.
Information about the wedding made its way to police, who intend to question those who were careless with their weapons and to revoke their gun licenses. VIDEO

This video is from a speech made by Arab Member of Knesset, Dr. Ahmad Tibi, head of the Arab Movement for Change, who denounced recent racist statements of the leader of the right-wing group, Lehava, who called for the expulsion of non-Jews from Israel, and described the Christians as “bloodsucking vampires”.
Translated to English from Arabic by Saed Bannoura:
“Members of Knesset, approximately two hours ago, my comrades Ayman Odeh, Osama Sa’adi and myself, visited the village of Beitello, northeast of Ramallah, where at night, a terrorist of the Price Tag Israeli group broke a window of a Palestinian home, about one after midnight, and hurled gas bombs into the building, where Hussein Najjar, his wife and child were sleeping.
“The question is how come gangs of Price Tag groups feel free to attack, to write racist graffiti such as ‘greetings from the detainees of Zion’. Why do they feel they can freely move around, invade Palestinian towns, and carry out ugly crimes, to kill and to burn entire Palestinian families?”
“I link all of this to what am reading and seeing today regarding Benzi Gopstein, the horrible things he said against the Christians, against the Muslims”, Tibi said. “He said the Christians are bloodsucking vampires that must be expelled.
“Expelled from where? From their Homeland? From their land? From their homes?”
Tibi went on to say, “Isn’t it enough you expelled the Christians from Eqreth and Birim village, as well as so many other towns? And, then, you attack Muslims too. What we are talking about, here, is the highlight of the Israeli racism.
“If those statements of Gopstein were said in German, they would have appeared much more difficult and racist, and even more realistic,” Dr. Tibi said. “Therefore, I am here telling him, you get out of here, you racist, disciple vile small, but very dangerous, person.
“The Christians aren’t just from here, they are the indigenous to this land, they are the owners, and nobody is doing them a favor by allowing them to stay, the same way Um al-Fahm inhabitants are indigenous, all Muslims and Christians in this land are the natives, the indigenous.”
“The Jews who believe in coexistence and tolerance must rebel against people like this vile person, and all of what he represents. They must stand against incitement and violence, and here I repeated what Imad Shafe’ey said: ‘Shun the vile ignorant, as everything he says is what he really is’
“And, to Gopstein and his followers, I say this: the soles of our Christian brothers’ shoes are worth more than you and everyone who stands with you. The Christians in this country are the natives of the land.”

Groups of Israeli settlers stormed Wednesday morning al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli-controlled al-Magharibeh gate under heavy Israeli police protection.
The settlers tried to perform Talmudic rituals in the compound; however, Palestinian worshipers prevented them from doing so.
At the entrances to the Mosque, Israeli police tightened restrictions on Palestinians’ access into the Mosque, confiscating the identity cards of dozens of worshipers before allowing them to enter the holy site.
Israeli settlers usually break into the Mosque at the early morning hours in total provocation to the Muslim worshipers.

Tuesdays evening, Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement of Ma'ale Levona, north of Ramallah, have destroyed 45 olive trees owned by Majed Daraghme from al-Leban al-Sharqiya town, south of Nablus.
Zakaria Sadeh, field research coordinator for Rabbis for Human Rights, said the settlers destroyed 45 olive trees in al-Leban, al-Sharqiya town, under the watchful eyes of Israeli soldiers who were on site.
This act clearly violates article 53 from Fourth Geneva Convention, which states that “Any destruction by the Occupying Power of real or personal property belonging individually or collectively to private persons, or to the State...is prohibited, except where such destruction is rendered absolutely necessary by military operations.”
However, according to WAFA correspondence, Israeli soldiers and settlers claimed the land located near 60 Street until Ma'ale Levona was incorporated as a settlement, while Palestinians are now prohibited from cultivating these lands.

A large number of Jewish settlers on Tuesday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque's courtyards under police protection, which provoked angry reactions from Muslim worshipers there.
Different Palestinian men and women chanted religious slogans in protest at the presence of settlers on the plateaus of their Islamic holy site.
Meanwhile, several women, whose entry to the Mosque is banned by the Israeli police, rallied at the Mosque's gates and recited verses of the holy Qur'an.
The Israeli police deliberately allow Jewish settlers to tour the Islamic holy shrine on a daily basis during morning hours, especially at seven o'clock (local time).
In a related context, Sheikh Omar al-Kaswani, director of the Aqsa Mosque, strongly denounced the provocative practices of Jewish settlers at the Mosque and the police protection provided for their daily violation of its Islamic sanctity.
In televised remarks to Jordan satellite channel on Monday, Sheikh Kaswani stressed the need for action to put an end to the settlers' provocative acts and break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque.

Benzi Gopstein
The leader of the right-wing group Lehava, which calls for the expulsion of non-Jews from Israel, has issued a statement that Christians, like Muslims, should be violently removed from the Holy Land.
Benzi Gopstein, in his statement, called for a ban on Christmas in the Holy Land, and said that the Christian Church is the deadly enemy of the Jewish people, and has been for hundreds of years.
In the article, published on a Haredi website in Israel, stated, “Christmas has no place in the Holy Land. Let us remove the vampires before they once again drink our blood.”
This is not the first time that Gopstein has engaged in incitement and threatening speech. But so far, the Israeli Prosecutors office has declined to pursue any charges of incitement against the extremist leader.
He was briefly arrested last year after the 'Hand in Hand' peace school in Jerusalem was burned by members of his group, but was soon released by the Israeli police.
His Facebook page at the time was full of posts showing doctored photos of Palestinian legislators hanging from nooses, and numerous racist slanders.
Two weeks ago in Jerusalem, 'Lehava' held a protest outside of the YMCA in Jerusalem, shouting at Palestinian Christian children and families as they were entering and leaving the annual Christmas-tree decoration party.
The group frequently protests against 'mixed marriages' between Jews and people of other religions.
In November, Gopstein was invited to speak before the Israeli Knesset, where he was cheered by right-wing legislators.

A predawn sweep by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rocked the northern occupied West Bank on Tuesday, culminating in a series of abrupt home break-ins.
Sources based in the northern West Bank city of Nablus said the IOF rolled into Madama village, to the south, and Salem village, to the east, and carried out arbitrary combing operations in both villages.
The IOF further tightened military grip in the vicinity of the Hawara military checkpoint in an attempt to quell anti-occupation demonstrations in the area.
Eyewitnesses said the occupation troops stormed Palestinian commercial shops in the Jerusalem Street and seized several surveillance cameras.
The IOF soldiers further broke into Palestinian civilian homes in Madama village and wreaked havoc on the buildings and confiscated several laptops and mobile phones.
The assault culminated in the abduction of youngster Ahmad Nassar from his family home in Madama. Shortly after, Ahmad was dragged by the IOF to an unidentified detention center.
The IOF further ravaged Palestinian civilian homes in Salem village.
Meanwhile, a heavily-armed Israeli patrol rolled into Salfit’s northern town of Kafl Hares to provide a security shield for the hordes of Israeli fanatic settlers who stormed the area overnight and vandalized Islamic holy sites.
The IOF also denied Palestinian citizens access out of and into the area, sealing it off with makeshift roadblocks and iron barriers.
The occupation soldiers, escorted by sniffer dogs, broke into Palestinian family homes and terrorized children, at the same time as zealous Israelis were shouting racist slogans calling for death to Muslims.

A group of fanatic Israeli colonizers hurled, on Tuesday at dawn, several gas bombs into a Palestinian home, in Beitello village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, causing the family to suffocate.
The Israeli assailants broke the glass of a window, and threw the gas bombs inside the property, as the family slept, causing them, including an infant, to suffer severe effects of tear gas inhalation.
The fanatics also wrote racist graffiti on the exterior walls of the Palestinian property, including “revenge,” and “greetings from Zion,” referring to the Israeli terrorists who burnt the Dawabsha family to death, in Douma village, south of the northern West Bank district of Nablus.
Israeli soldiers and police officers arrived at the scene, photographed the attacked home, and the racist graffiti, and prevented the Palestinians from reaching the property.

The Israeli Supreme Court is to release, on Monday, two Israelis accused of burning the Dawabsha family in the village of Douma, occupied Nablus, four months ago.
Israeli public radio stated, according to Al Ray, that it is expected to release other detainees accused of the crime this evening, provided that they stay under the house arrest.
In the same context, the Israeli Supreme Court considers, this evening, a petition filed by one of the suspects, demanding to allow him meeting with his lawyer.
The Minister of the Israeli army, Moshe Ya'alon, said in a statement last week, "The perpetrators of the crime of Dawabsheh family's arson attack are identified for us, but there is no evidence to bring them to trial or to charge them."

Meir Ettinger
In July of 2015, two parents and their 18-month-old son were burned to death when a commando threw firebombs at the Dawabsha family’s home in the village of Douma. A four-year-old child survived the attack, but sustained severe injuries.
At least six Israelis were arrested for the attack as “administrative detainees" after the Shin Bet presented intelligence to Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein. Shin Bet requested permission to interrogate the suspects using “special methods.” This is the first time such measures have been directed at Jewish citizens of Israel.
Four of the six known suspects maintain dual-citizenship with Anglo-Saxon countries.
Three suspects with dual citizenship – Meir Ettinger and Mordechai Meyer and Eviatar Slonim – are not accused of direct involvement in the Douma attack, but are accused of parttaking in a violent underground movement known as “the Revolt.”
Slonim is an Australian citizen. The Sunday Morning Herald reported that he a relative of former Knesset member and right-winger Rabbi Moshe Feiglin. Feiglin recently visited Australia to speak to synagogues in Sydney and Melbourne. Israeli security services allege that Slonim participated in setting fire to a home in the Palestinian town of Khirbet Abu Falah.
Meyer is a U.S. citizen. Shin Bet claims that Mordechai committed arson at Dormition Abbey in Jerusalem.
Ettinger – a U.S. citizen and the grandson of militant Jewish nationalist Rabbi Meir Kahane – allegedly heads an extreme right-wing organization intent on toppling the Israeli government though violent means.
Haaretz reported that there are at least three other Israeli Jews suspected of direct involvement in the Douma killings, but their names are protected by a court-issued gag order.
At least one of these three suspects has dual American-Israeli citizenship. His parents have already spoken with the U.S. State Department and urged them to get involved in his case.
