Israeli soldiers invaded, on Friday afternoon, Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and attacked protests held in solidarity with the hunger striking detainees, leading to clashes with local youths, wounding at least nine with, including two with Toto expanding bullets, and causing many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
Media sources in Hebron said hundreds of Palestinians marched in the center of the town, following Friday noon prayers, before the soldiers invaded it from several directions and opened fire on them.
The incident led to clashes between the invading soldiers and local youngsters, who hurled stones and empty bottles on the military vehicles.
The soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, including the Toto expanding bullets, moderately wounding two young men in the legs, and one who suffered a chest injury after being stuck by fragments of an expanding bullet.

The medics also provided the needed treatment to six Palestinians, who were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets, and dozens who suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.

Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinians suffered from severe tear-gas inhalation during clashes that erupted between Palestinian youth and Israeli soldiers near Ofer prison, in western Ramallah, and at the northern entrance of Silwad, in eastern Ramallah. Witnesses said that three Palestinians were injured with rubber-coated metal bullets.
In Silwad, a Palestinian was injured with live fire in the leg, while tens of others suffered from tear gas inhalation, as Israeli forces fired live bullets, rubber bullets, sound bombs, and tear gas canisters, after violent clashes broke out in the area.
In the Sinjil village of northern Ramallah, Palestinian youth threw rocks at Israeli settler vehicles passing by the main road near the village, causing damages to the vehicles, while Israeli soldiers closed all roads leading to the village and set up checkpoints at the main road adjacent to the village which connects the Nablus and Ramallah districts.
At the Qalandia checkpoint, which connects Ramallah with occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli forces suppressed a solidarity march with live fire and rubber-coated steel bullets leaving four injured with live fire shrapnel and two injured with rubber-coated steel bullets, according to witnesses.
However, a statement from the Palestinian Red Crescent said that two Palestinians were injured with bullet shrapnel, while one was injured with a rubber-coated bullet.
Israeli soldiers also fired tear-gas bombs and stun grenades at young protesters, as forces closed the checkpoint and prevented all pedestrians and vehicles from passing.
In the village of Bilin, the weekly march was launched from the village and headed towards Israel’s separation wall, with the participation of Palestinians and foreign activists.
Protesters held pictures of Palestinians imprisoned in Israel and shouted national slogans calling for national unity, ending the occupation, and releasing all Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons.

More than ten Palestinians suffered from severe tear-gas inhalation while one youth was injured with a rubber-coated steel bullet, according to witnesses.
Among those who suffered tear-gas inhalation was a father of three prisoners, Hajj Ihsan Adili Abu Waddah. Secretary of the Fateh movement in Nablus Jihad Ramadan was injured with a stun grenade in the leg.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said, in a statement, that 20 Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation.
In the town of al-Naqura, clashes erupted following Friday prayers, with medical sources reporting that several Palestinians suffered tear-gas inhalation.

Israeli soldiers also fired a sound bomb at the hospital, causing the front glass door of the emergency section to shatter, witnesses added.

In southern Qalqilia city, located in the northern West Bank, clashes broke out near an Israeli military checkpoint. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that two Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation near the checkpoint.
Clashes also broke out between Israeli forces and local Palestinians in the Qalqilia-area village of Kafr Qaddum. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, two Palestinians were injured in the village with rubber-coated bullets shot by Israeli forces.

Israeli military forces deployed east of Deir Balah, in central Gaza Strip, struck on Thursday morning Palestinian security sites with artillery shells
Two artillery shells were fired by the Israeli army causing heavy material damage, local sources said.
Sometime earlier, Hebrew media sources claimed that two Palestinian gunmen opened fire at an Israeli military patrol near the border fence in southern Gaza Strip.
According to the Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth, no injuries were reported in the alleged shooting attack.
Two artillery shells were fired by the Israeli army causing heavy material damage, local sources said.

Heavy blasts rocked the vicinity of Damascus International Airport after Israeli air raids targeted the area, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported Thursday.
According to preliminary reports that have emerged in the morning, Israeli air raids targeted an arms supply hub near Damascus International Airport.
Live snapshots of heavy blasts at the international airport have been circulated on social media networks.
Russian Sputnik news agency attributed the blasts to five airstrikes launched by the Israeli fighter jets on an armed squadron at Damascus Airport.
The nature of the damage to the airport has not been revealed yet, but the strikes reportedly occurred at around 03:25 a.m. local time.
SOHR added that the reasons for the blasts remain unverified.

Eyewitnesses said Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishermen boats north of the al-Sudaniya area and forced them to retreat ashore.
There were no immediate reports of casualties and the extent of damage caused in the attack.
On a near-daily basis, the Israeli army fires at Palestinian fisherman, farmers, and shepherds for allegedly entering the Israeli-enforced “buffer zone,” a unilaterally declared area implemented after Israel imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip a decade ago.

Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, earlier on Wednesday at dawn, the town of Kifl Hares, west of Salfit in central West Bank, and prevented the Palestinians from using the streets, while Israeli colonists visited sites in the area.
The Maan News Agency said many army vehicles invaded the town, fire many concussion grenades before forcing all stores to shut down, and ordered the Palestinians to remain indoors.
The invasion was carried out as the soldiers were transporting dozens of colonialist settlers, who wanted to visit ancient sites in the area.
Maan added that dozens of soldiers were also deployed at the main entrance of the town, searched many Palestinian cars and examined the ID cards of the passengers.

Media sources in Nabi Saleh said the clashes took place in the eastern area of the village, and that the soldiers used launchers, mounted on their jeeps, to fire dozens of gas bombs.
Despite the extensive gas fire, and rubber-coated steel bullets, the local youngsters managed to prevent the military from invading the center of the village, and the army withdrew later.
The soldiers also closed the Iron Gate, at the eastern entrance of the village, and installed roadblocks in the area, preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving it.

A Palestinian young man was shot and injured by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Tuesday afternoon over an alleged anti-occupation attack in the northern occupied West Bank district of Nablus.
Palestinian media sources said that IOF soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian youngster after he allegedly attempted to stab one of them while stationed at Hawara checkpoint, south of the city.
Palestinian medical sources told a PIC field reporter that Israeli soldiers prevented medical personnel and ambulance crews from reaching the area, while allowing an Israeli ambulance to transfer him from the shooting scene.
Israeli media sites claimed that the incident occurred when a Palestinian young man approached a group of soldiers near Hawara checkpoint while holding a knife in his hand.
The IOF soldiers immediately opened fire at the young man, seriously injuring him, the sources added.
"No injuries were reported, presumably with the exception of the Palestinian,” according to the sources.

Eyewitnesses from Aqraba town reported seeing hundreds of soldiers near the homes of Khirbet at-Tawil Bedouins and on the nearby eastern plains ahead of the drills.
They also said loud explosions rocked their area throughout the night as a result of the firing of artillery shells in at-Tawil area.
Local farmers complained that conducting military drills in their area would ruin the grazing season, which comes before the summer.
