Israeli Forces Fire on Shepherds along Gaza Border

Israeli forces, Wednesday, opened fire on shepherds while they were grazing their livestock in pastures along Gaza borders with Israel, said WAFA sources.

The shepherds were forced to leave the pastures located along the borders in fear of their lives. No injuries were reported.

Israeli Soldiers Injure Two Palestinians, Fires At Reporters, In Gaza

Israeli soldiers shot, Wednesday, two young men, and caused dozens of Palestinians to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, in addition to firing live rounds at reporters, after the army attacked protesters near the border fence east of Gaza city.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot two young men with live fire, in their lower extremities, east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza city, before they were rushed to a local hospital.

The soldiers were heavily deployed behind the border fence and fired many live rounds at Palestinian protesters.

The soldiers also fired many live rounds at Palestinian reporters in the area, in addition to firing gas bombs and concussion grenades.

Army Abducts Ten Palestinians In The West Bank

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, ten young Palestinian men from their homes, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.

The soldiers invaded Ras al-‘Ein area, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, before storming the local Power Company, and abducted a young man, identified as Roshdi al-Qayyim.

The soldiers also fired many gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets at local youngsters, who hurled stones at them while invading the city.

In related news, the soldiers released Jamal Qadous and Ahmad Faqeeh, who were abducted from Iraq-Burin village, south of Nablus, on Tuesday evening.

The soldiers claimed the two hurled stones at them, while local sources said the two were just in the area, and that Qadous cannot walk due to polio since he was a child.

In addition, the soldiers invaded Sorra town, west of Nablus, and fired dozens of concussion grenades before withdrawing.

In Ramallah, the soldiers invaded the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of the city, searched homes and abducted Mohammad Hasan Oleyyan.

The soldiers also invaded Umm Rokba area, in the al-Khader town south or Bethlehem, searched homes and abducted Mohannad Mahmoud al-Wash, 19.

It is worth mentioning that Mohannad’s brothers, Ra’fat, 18, and Hamza, 16, were abducted by the soldiers three days ago, also from their home, in the al-Jabal area, in the opposite direction of Solomon Pools in the town.

In Jericho, the soldiers searched homes and abducted Saleh Abu Sharar and Osama Issa Hdeib, from Ein al-Sultan refugee camp.

In related news, several fanatic Israeli colonialist settlers infiltrated into Far’ata town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, and punctured the tires of five parked cars, in the eastern area, near the illegal Gilad colonialist post.

Arrests, clashes reported in West Bank campaigns

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday launched raids into different West Bank provinces.

The PIC reporter said that the IOF stormed Nablus city, broke into a residential building in Ras al-Ain neighborhood and arrested the Palestinian youth Rushdi al-Qayyem.

Violent confrontations erupted in the area during which the IOF soldiers heavily fired live ammunition, sound bombs and teargas canisters.

The IOF further raided Iraq Burin village south of Nablus and searched a number of Palestinian houses. Other campaigns were witnessed in Burin and Sarra villages south and west of the city respectively.

In a related context, the IOF at dawn released two Palestinians named Jamal Qadous, a young man with special needs, and Ahmad Faqih. Both of them were arrested during a raid into Iraq Burin village on Tuesday.

Dozens of IOF patrols stormed Kifl Hares north of Salfit, roamed the village's streets and took photos of old Palestinian houses for unknown reasons.

Local sources told the PIC reporter that a Palestinian young man identified as Ahmad al-Amour, 30, was arrested at an abrupt checkpoint near al-Yamoun village west of Jenin.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said that the IOF soldiers during the morning hours were deployed in large numbers in al-Samu' town south of al-Khalil.

According to the witnesses, the soldiers erected temporary checkpoints, stopped Palestinian vehicles and scrutinized passengers' IDs causing a traffic jam.

Soldiers Close A Palestinian School For Girls Near Nablus

Israeli soldiers closed, on Tuesday afternoon, the al-Lubban School for Girls, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, after threatening to attack it with gas bombs.

‘Aisha Nubani, the principal of the school, told the WAFA Palestinian News Agency that the soldiers ordered the instant evacuation of the school, allegedly after a colonialist settler’s car crashed into another car when Palestinian youngsters hurled stones at it, near the educational facility.

The soldiers threatened to fire a barrage of gas bombs into the school unless it is immediately evacuated and closed.

The soldiers chased many students in the meadows surrounding several schools in the area, near the main Ramallah-Nablus road, which is also used by the military and colonialist settlers.

Two Palestinians injured during IOF raids into Nablus

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Tuesday raided Sebastia archeological site in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

The PIC reporter quoted eyewitnesses as saying that violent clashes broke out in Sebastia town when IOF violently stormed the area to secure the place for hundreds of Jewish settlers.

At least two youths were injured with live ammunition in the abdomen and foot during the clashes. The two were rushed to Nablus hospitals for treatment.

Israeli forces have imposed over the past two days a complete cordon on Sebastia’s archeological site to provide protection for hundreds of settlers who stormed it to perform religious rituals.

12 Palestinians injured on 4th day of Great March of Return

At least 12 Palestinians were injured on Monday by Israeli gunfire while taking part in the Great March of Return east of the Gaza Strip.

The PIC reporter said that 12 Palestinians were wounded during attacks on al-Awda (return) camps east of Rafah, Khan Younis, Gaza and Jabalia.

He added that the Israeli occupation forces stationed behind Gaza's eastern border fence heavily fired teargas canisters at peaceful demonstrators causing a number of suffocation cases.

The Palestinian people in Gaza launched on Friday a major demonstration called the Great March of Return along Gaza's border with the 1948 occupied Palestine to demand their right of return, and it is expected to continue until the 15th May.

Army Injures Many Schoolchildren In Hebron

Israeli soldiers fired, on Tuesday morning, several gas bombs at schoolchildren in Abu Sneina neighborhood, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, causing many children, and other Palestinians, to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired the gas bombs into the Nahda School, and its surrounding areas, and added that local medics provided the needed treatment to the wounded children.

They added that several Palestinians then hurled stones at the soldiers, who fired more gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

On Monday afternoon, the soldiers also fired gas bombs at students of the same school, causing many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

Israeli Soldiers Seriously Injure A Palestinian Man At A Roadblock Near Tulkarem

Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured, Monday, a Palestinian man, in his fifties, at a military roadblock east of Tulkarem, in the northern part of the West Bank.

Israeli daily Haaretz said the soldiers shot the man, 55 years of age, after he reportedly “ran towards them in a suspicious manner,” near the al-Kafriyyat military roadblock, east of Tulkarem.

It added that the soldiers did not find any weapons on the wounded man, and initiated an investigation into the issue, after moving him to an Israeli hospital.

Following the incident, dozens of soldiers were deployed in the area, before closing the military roadblock and its surrounding area.

Army Injures Four Palestinians, Abduct One Of Them, In Nabi Saleh Near Ramallah

Palestinian medical sources have reported that Israeli soldiers shot, Monday four young men, assaulted and abducted one of them, after the army invaded Nabi Saleh village, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and attacked protesters.

The sources said the army shot three Palestinians with live fire in their legs, before locals rushed them in private cars to Salfit governmental hospital, suffering moderate wounds.

The soldiers also shot another Palestinian, and assaulted him despite his wounds, before abducting him.

The Health Ministry in the West Bank said the Palestinian District Coordination Office was informed by the Israeli side that the Palestinian was shot with a rubber-coated steel bullet in his neck and is in a stable condition.

Dozens of Palestinian suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, especially since the soldiers fired a barrage of gas bombs at the protesters and homes in the village and received the needed treatment.

Israeli Soldiers Injure Twelve Palestinians In Gaza

Israeli soldiers attacked, Monday, dozens of Palestinian protesters on their lands near border areas, in several parts of the Gaza Strip, and injured twelve Palestinians with live fire, in addition to causing dozens to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot two Palestinian, east of Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

They added that the army shot eight Palestinians, also with live fire, east of Gaza city.

Another Palestinian was shot in Khuza’a village, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and one east of al-Boreij, in central Gaza.

Dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation and received the needed treatment.

Media sources in Gaza said many Palestinian protesters burnt dozens of tires across the border fence, and used mirrors to disrupt the soldiers’ vision, especially sharpshooters.

IOF shoots, arrests Palestinian youth

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and wounded a Palestinian youth near Avnei Hefetz settlement, established on Tulkarem lands in the West Bank, on Monday evening before arresting him.

Conflicting Hebrew media reports claimed that the young man tried to stab IOF soldiers before he was shot while other media report said that he threw stones at the guards of the settlement and ran towards them prompting the guards to fire at him.

The reports said that his condition was light to moderate, but did not reveal his identity.

IOF arrests 3 Gazans near border fence

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested on Monday evening three Palestinian youths near the border fence to the east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses affirmed that IOF soldiers, stationed along the border fence, opened their machinegun fire at Palestinian protesters before arresting three of them for allegedly approaching the border fence.

Palestinian youths continued for the fourth consecutive day to rally along Gaza's eastern border to participate in the activities of the Great March of Return despite Israeli threats.

IOF arrests 14 Palestinians, notifies demolition of martyr's house

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday arrested 14 Palestinians during raid campaigns launched in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation army in its daily report said that its forces arrested eight Palestinians involved in attacks against Israeli soldiers and settlers.

The army claimed that a homemade weapon was found in a Palestinian facility in al-Khalil during the campaign.

The Israeli police arrested six Palestinian minors in al-Isawiya town east of Jerusalem after raiding and searching their family houses and transferred them to Israeli interrogation centers in the city.

Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that several IOF patrols stormed Nablus city at daybreak and arrested three Palestinian youths including an ex-prisoner.

Violent confrontations broke out in the city between Palestinian youths and the IOF soldiers during which the latter heavily fired live ammunition, sound bombs and teargas canisters.

Meanwhile, the IOF broke into the house of the Palestinian martyr Abdulrahman Bani Fadel in Aqraba town east of Nablus and handed his family an order to demolish the second floor of the house.

Bani Fadel was shot dead by the Israeli police after carrying out an anti-occupation stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem two weeks ago.

Israeli Army Abducts Six Children In Jerusalem, Five Young Men In Bethlehem, Nablus And Qalilia

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, six Palestinian children from their homes in occupied East Jerusalem, in addition to abducting a young man in Bethlehem, three in Nablus, and one in Qalqilia, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.

The PPS said that dozens of soldiers invaded the al-‘Isawiya town, in the center of Jerusalem, searched and ransacked many homes and abducted six Palestinians, before moving them to interrogation centers in the city.

The children have been identified as Mahmoud Ashraf Obeid, 13, Younes Sofian Obeid, 15, Rida Mohammad Obeid, 17, Saleh Fakhouri, 13, Ismael Ali ‘Aassi, 13, and Ali Amjad ‘Atiya, 13.

It is worth mentioning that the town has been subject to daily invasions for more than a year, in addition to a strict military siege over the past two months.

Also in Jerusalem, the soldiers stationed at the Chain Gate, leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, prevented one of the holy site’s guards, identified as Mohammad Badran, from entering it.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, violently searched homes and abducted Mahmoud Mohammad Thawabta, 25.

In Nablus, in northern West Bank, several army jeeps invaded Ras al-Ein and Rafidia, searched many homes and abducted Khaled Ala Tawil, 20, Mohammad al-Kawni, 23, and Hamza Khweira, 24.

The soldiers also invaded the home of Abdul-Rahman Bani Fadel, in Aqraba village, and handed his family a demolition order to their property.

The army claims that Bani Fadel carried out a deliberate attack, last month, killing one Israeli security guard, before he was shot dead by Israeli soldiers.

In Qalqilia, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Ali Sweilem, 22, while crossing a sudden military roadblock, east of the city.

The Palestinian was heading to his college, Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, and his father is a political prisoner, serving a life term in Israeli prisons.

In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers invaded and searched many homes, and reportedly confiscated a weapon.

Soldiers Attack Palestinians Planting Trees, Near Salfit, Injure One

Israeli soldiers resorted to the excessive use of force, Sunday, against Palestinians planning trees on their lands in Deir Ballout town, west of Salfit, in northeastern West Bank, causing several injuries, during a nonviolent activity aimed at Planting trees on lands threatened by Israel’s illegal construction of expansion of its colonies and the Annexation Wall.

One of the wounded is Fawwaz Nasser, of the Popular Work department of the Palestinian Committee against the Wall and Colonies; he was shot with a rubber-coated bullet in his arm.

Many Palestinians suffered the severe effects of teargas inhalation and received the needed treatment.

The soldiers assaulted the Palestinians for holding this nonviolent activist and plant olive trees, on lands near the illegal Annexation Wall, and are targeted with illegal annexation by Israel.

Among the participants in the nonviolent activity was Salfit Governor Ibrahim al-Balawi, and the head of the National Committee against the Wall and Colonies, Minister Walid Assaf, Fateh Secretary in Salfit Abdul-Sattar Awwad, in addition to many officials, representatives of nongovernmental and social organizations.

The participants stressed on the importance of planting and protecting the lands, especially those threatened by Israel’s illegal Wall and colonies, and are under constant attacks by the colonizers, in addition to the lands that became isolated behind the illegal Annexation Wall.

Army Injures 98 Palestinians Near Jerusalem

Israeli soldiers injured, Sunday, 98 Palestinians after the army attacked protesters in front of the Al-Quds University, in Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem; two of the wounded were shot in the head, and one in the chest.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRC) said its medics provided treatment to 87 Palestinians who suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, and five who suffered burns from Israeli gas bombs and concussion grenades and moved four of them to a nearby hospital.

It added that another Palestinian was shot with a rubber-coated steel bullet, which struck him above one of his eyes, causing a moderate injury.

Another Palestinian was shot with a rubber-coated steel bullet which penetrated his chest, causing a moderate injury, before he was rushed to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.

On Sunday evening, the soldiers installed a military roadblock, and abducted a young man, in addition to confiscating his motorcycle, near Sielet al-Harithiyya town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

The soldiers also installed a military roadblock at Kafr Dan village junction, near Jenin, stopped and searched dozens of cars and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

Israeli Army Injures Eleven Palestinians In Gaza

Palestinian medical sources have confirmed, Sunday, that Israeli soldiers shot at least eleven Palestinians with live fire, including one who suffered a serious injury, while dozens suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, after the army attacked protesters near the border fence, in the eastern part of the Gaza Strip.

Five Palestinians were shot with live fire in Abu Safiyya area, east of Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, and were rushed to the Indonesian Hospital, in nearby Beit Lahia, while many others suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.

One Palestinian was suffered a life-threatening injury, after an army sharpshooter shot him in the head, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, the soldiers also shot two young Palestinian men with live fire, east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza city.

It is worth mentioning that the army has killed 16 Palestinians, and injured thousands, in the Gaza Strip since Friday, March 30th. Medical sources in Gaza said dozens, and possibly hundreds, of the wounded Palestinians could end up with permanent disabilities.

Furthermore, the Israeli army said its soldiers arrested, on Sunday evening, three young Palestinian men who reportedly “attempted to cross the border fence,” and moved them to an integration facility.
