Israeli soldiers attacked, Friday, the weekly nonviolent procession held by many Palestinian, Israeli and international peace activists in Bil’in village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, causing many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
The nonviolent protesters marched from the village heading towards their lands, isolated behind the illegal Annexation Wall, before the soldiers started firing gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets.
The soldiers, stationed on military towers, also filmed the protesters, to profile them, a move used to abduct and imprison the nonviolent protesters.
The protesters marched carrying Palestinian flags, and chanting for national unity, steadfastness, the release of all detainees, and the Right of Return of all refugees, and called for steadfastness until liberation and independence.

Media sources in Bethlehem said the soldiers resorted to the excessive use of force against Palestinian protesters at the northern entrance of the city, before chasing them, and abducted three children.
The three abducted children, who remained unidentified at the time of this report, were attacked by the soldiers who took them to an unknown destination.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Bethlehem said the soldiers shot the Palestinian in the chest, before he was rushed to a medical center.
The soldiers also fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at the protesters.
In addition, the soldiers shot one Palestinian with a rubber-coated steel bullet and caused at least five others to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, in Beita and Kafr Qalil villages, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

They added that many Palestinians suffered the severe effects of teargas inhalation and received the needed treatment.
The protest started in front of a local mosque, east of Hebron city, while the participants carried Palestinian flags, and posters calling for ending the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine, and for lifting the deadly Israeli siege and military escalation against the Gaza Strip.

Activist Ahmad Zeidan said that the IOF soldiers raided the town in large numbers and destroyed a vehicle owned by the Palestinian citizen Mousa al-Khawaja.
In another context, a Palestinian family from Nablus said that the IOF informed them on Thursday that their 16-year-old son Obada Awwad was arrested and transferred to Ofer prison.
The Palestinian citizen Amjad Awwad said that an Israeli officer phoned his family and told them that Obada was arrested during clashes east of Nablus.

Three Palestinian fishermen were wounded by Israeli gunfire while fishing at the Gaza Sea on Thursday morning.
Ashraf al-Qidra, the health ministry spokesman in Gaza, said that Israeli gunboats fired at the Palestinian fishermen’s boat while sailing off the coast of Gaza.
Local media sources said that the Israeli gunboats opened indiscriminate fire at the boat wounding the three fishermen.

Several Palestinian citizens on Wednesday suffered injuries as they were trying to fend off scores of Jewish settlers and soldiers who infiltrated into their West Bank town, Beita, for alleged holiday rituals.
Beita mayor Fu’aad Maali stated that a group of settlers escorted by soldiers entered the eastern area of Beita in Nablus and behaved provocatively towards local residents.
Maali added that local young men confronted the settlers and soldiers and clashed with them.
During the events, two Palestinian youths were injured by rubber bullets and many others suffered from their exposure to tear gas fumes
The mayor affirmed that the Israeli assault on Beita residents had been preceded recently by many violations committed by soldiers and settlers against them, including the closure of all entrances to their town with mounds of dirt and concrete blocks.
