The Israeli occupation army at dawn Saturday threatened to build a fence around Ya'bad town in Jenin if local young men continued to hurl stones at Israeli cars traveling on the nearby main road.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the Israeli army imposed a tight siege on the town on Friday evening before a large number of its troops stormed it at dawn today, amid intensive tear gas attacks.
They added that several citizens suffered from inhaling tear gas inside their homes.
During its campaign in the town, the occupation troops put up notices on the walls of some homes threatening to take harsh measures against Ya'bad residents if they did not prevent their children from stoning Israeli cars.
The Israeli army also warned that it might surround the town with a fence if stone-throwing attacks persisted.
According to the same sources, Israeli soldiers questioned and maltreated citizens in the town, with no reported arrests.

Israeli soldiers attacked, Friday, the weekly nonviolent protest in Bil’in village, in the central West Bank district of Ramallah, as the Israeli, international and Palestinian activists marched this week in solidarity with hunger-striking detainee Bilal Kayed.
The protesters marched from the center of the village carrying Palestinian flags, posters of Kayed and other hunger striking detainees, demanding their immediate and unconditional release, and chanted against the ongoing illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine.
They also carried mirrors with the words “I am an occupier,” written on them, and positioned them in front of the soldiers.
Abdullah Abu Rahma, the coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Colonies in Bil’in, also presented a detailed presentation to visiting international delegates, explaining the successes the villagers, and their supporters, had in demolishing sections of the Annexation Wall and rerouting it.
He also presented the delegates with a list, and detailed information, about the large ray of weapons the Israeli army has been using against the nonviolent protestors, and the illegal policies of collective punishment, including home invasions and abduction of villagers.
Similar to previous weeks, the army tried to claim that the area was a “closed military zone,” in an attempt to force the protesters out of their own lands.

An Israeli settler was injured in a stabbing attack in Tur neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem on Thursday afternoon.
The Hebrew website 0404 said that an Arab youth stabbed the Israeli settler with a screwdriver then fled the scene.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rushed to the scene and combed the neighborhood in search for the youth.
Israeli police spokeswoman Luba al-Samri said that the police forces were looking for the suspect and were investigating the incident.
Earlier at noon Thursday, IOF soldiers rounded up five Palestinians after storming Shufat refugee camp in Occupied Jerusalem, local sources said, adding that the five carried West Bank IDs.
In Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, IOF soldiers fired live and rubber bullets along with teargas during two raids on the camp wounding a young man with a live bullet, locals reported, adding that he was hospitalized.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) has reported that the soldiers kidnapped Mohammad Najeeb Zaghal, 16, after storming his family’s home in Silwan, and searching it.
The soldiers also invaded Ras al-‘Amoud neighborhood in Silwan, and kidnapped a child, identified as Mosleh Nasser Shehada, 15.
