According to the PIC reporter, four Israeli soldiers were slightly to moderately wounded in the clashes as they were thrown with stones, empty bottles, and Molotov cocktails.
Palestinian medical sources said that 34 Palestinian citizens were treated for breathing problems and gunshot wounds following the clashes that erupted after the funeral of Mustafa Baradeiah and Ahmed Khlail whose bodies were held by the Israeli occupation for months before they were released on Friday.
The non-governmental Palestinian Red Crescent association said that its crews dealt with 20 cases of teargas suffocation, 10 injuries with rubber-coated metal bullets, and 1 injury with live bullet in Beit Ummar in addition to 3 cases of teargas suffocation in Aroub camp.
The spokesman of the Popular Committee against the Settlement in Beit Ummar Mohammed Awad told the Quds Press news agency that the Israeli soldiers initiated the attack on Khlail's funeral with teargas canisters and rubber and live bullets.
Other limited clashes broke out in Aroub camp between the Palestinian youths and the Israeli soldiers after the latter fired teargas canisters during the funeral of Baradeiah.
Meanwhile, confrontations between the Palestinian youths and the Israeli soldiers were witnessed in Beit Dajan village to the east of Nablus city following the incursion of several Israeli patrols into the village.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli forces erected a checkpoint at the entrance of the village and hindered the movement of Palestinian vehicles.

of Israeli checkpoints for Christian tourists to celebrate the holiday in the traditional birthplace of Jesus Christ.
A Ma’an News Agency reporter witnessed Israeli forces fire rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas into the crowd, which caused a number of participants to suffer from inhalation. Five journalists were also injured, including the cameraman for the Jordanian al-Roya TV Muhammad Shoudha. Israeli forces reportedly fired tear gas canisters directly at his foot.
An Israeli border police spokesperson was reported to have said that “15 men in the afternoon threw rocks at Israeli soldiers,” he said, adding that “some of them were dressed as Santa Claus and tried to cross the checkpoint between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.”
The spokesperson also said that two Israeli soldiers were injured by rocks being thrown at them. The injuries were reported as light.
This was the second such march to be organized this year, in Bethlehem, for the Christian holidays. Israeli-imposed restrictions on Palestinian movement, regulated by more than 196 illegal Israeli settlements scattered across Palestinian territory, more than a hundred Israeli checkpoints and physical obstacles, and the construction of the Israeli separation wall has continued to strain the movement of Palestinians, and has caused the tourism industry to plummet.
Christmas is typically a time of year where Bethlehem receives droves of Christian tourists visiting the Nativity Church in the Old City. However, activists have pointed out that the tourism industry has severely declined, with Israeli authorities continuing to tighten control over Palestinian movement, as the Israeli occupation now enters its 50th year.

Kafr Qaddoum’s weekly protests have been occurring since July of 2011, in the attempt to take back the road that connects their village to the city of Nablus, elongating Palestinians’ commute by 14 kilometers.
These demonstrations are always met by Israeli occupation forces and/or border police, who throw sound grenades, tear gas, rubber-coated steel bullets, and, at times, live ammunition to prevent the nonviolent protesters from executing their democratic rights.
The young boy was released after one hour, and he told his father, “I was very afraid. I didn’t know what to do. I just began shouting between 12 huge soldiers, and one of them hanged me from my neck and asked me about my father”.
The boy continues to experience the effects of post-traumatic stress syndrome, shaking continuously, while sharing more of the experience to his family.
