Palestinian young men on Wednesday evening attacked a bus carrying Jewish settlers with stones and empty bottles on a road near the main entrance to Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that angry young men ambushed the bus as it was traveling from the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba to Occupied Jerusalem.
The bus sustained extensive material damage, while an ambulance was seen near the bus.
Consequently, several Israeli soldiers were dispatched to the area near Beit Ummar town, where they clashed with young men and fired live ammunition at them.
An Israeli military force also stormed Wadi ash-Sheikh area near the main entrance to Beit Ummar to chase and arrest young men.
However, no arrests have been reported among young men from the area.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday quelled two Palestinian marches launched in al-Bireh and Bethlehem in the West Bank in protest at the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
A local source reported that the IOF attacked a demonstration organized by Fatah movement at the northern entrance to al-Bireh city and heavily fired sound bombs at the protesters.
The PIC reporter said that IOF quelled another demonstration jointly launched by Palestinian factions in Bethlehem against the US Jerusalem move.
According to the PIC reporter, as the demonstrators approached the Israeli military tower set up at the northern entrance to Bethlehem raising Palestinian flags and portraits of Palestinian prisoners, the IOF soldiers attacked with sound bombs and tear gas canisters.

The Palestinians marched from Bab Zqaq area, heading towards Hebron-Jerusalem Roads, then near Bilal Bin Rabah mosque, at the northern entrance of Bethlehem city.

According to PCHR’s investigations, at approximately 12:00 on Monday, 08 January 2018, Israeli gunboats stationed off al-Waha Resort shore, northwest of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza strip, opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats sailing within 3 nautical miles.
The Israeli gunboats then surrounded a fishing boat belonging to Mohamed Omar al-Najjar. The fishing boat was manned by Jehad Suhail Murad (25) and Mostafa Mohamed Murad (18), both of them are from al-Shati’ refugee camp in Gaza City.

Violent clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) at the eastern entrance to Salfit on Monday evening.
Eyewitnesses affirmed that the clashes erupted after IOF stormed the area amid heavy fire of teargas bombs.

Medical sources said the young man suffered a moderate injury, after the soldiers shot him with a rubber-coated steel bullet in his abdomen, while many others suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.
The soldiers installed a military roadblock near the western entrance of the university, and attacked many Palestinians, who protested the invasion.
