Two Palestinian youths were injured and many others chocked on tear gas during demonstrations on Sunday evening in several flashpoints with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) east of the Gaza Strip in rejection of the siege.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that dozens of Palestinian youths gathered east of Khuza'a town in the southern Gaza Strip, set tires on fire, raised Palestinian flags, and approached the security fence between the Gaza Strip and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories.
They added that the IOF soldiers deployed behind the security fence fired live bullets and tear gas canisters at the demonstrators. A 21-year-old youth was injured with a bullet in the foot and a number of suffocation cases were reported in the scene.
In the same context, dozens of Palestinian youths demonstrated near Nahal Oz military site east of al-Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza city and they were attacked by the IOF with live bullets and tear gas canisters.
According to a local source, one of the youths was directly hit with a gas bomb and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The National Committee to Break the Siege and the youth movement called for daily demonstrations in the various points of contact with the Israeli occupation east of the Gaza Strip in rejection of the siege and in protest at the deteriorating humanitarian situation caused by the crises plaguing the Gaza Strip especially the electricity crisis.

They added that the Israeli occupation boats deliberately target fishermen in the Gaza Sea and prevent them from practicing their work by shooting at them, chasing them, and seizing their boats.
Dozens of Gazan fishermen were killed, injured and arrested as a result of such practiceover the past few years.

The wounded youths were transferred to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah to be treated for wounds sustained in their legs. Other civilians choked on teargas in the clashes.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stationed at Zaatara barrier east of Salfit city launched on Saturday a surveillance blimp over the barrier, eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter.
The airship, which was supplied with cameras, was launched in the early morning hours and clearly seen in the skies of the towns and villages located between Nablus and Salfit governorates in the West Bank.

Israeli navy Saturday opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the Gaza coast forcing the boats to return to shore, said local sources.
There were no reports of casualties, however, according to WAFA correspondence.
Despite the signed agreements between Palestinians and Israel, which allow fishermen to go 12 nautical miles inside the Mediterranean Sea, the Israeli navy targets Gaza fishermen almost daily.
Boats cannot venture any further than three nautical miles, which the fishermen say is not enough to catch fish.

Israeli soldiers invaded, Friday, Kufur Qaddoum town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, and attacked the weekly protest against the Annexation Wall and colonies, leading to clashes.
Morad Eshteiwy, the media coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Colonies in Kufur Qaddoum, said dozens of soldiers invaded the town, and fired a barrage of gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets.
Local youths burnt tires, to obstruct the invading army vehicles, and hurled stones at the soldiers. There have been no reports of injuries, while some Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.
Today’s protest also comes to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Palestinian Naksa, when Israeli occupied the rest of Palestine in 1967 – the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.
It was held by dozens of locals, in addition to several Israeli and international peace activists, who marched chanting for ending the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine.
The protesters also demanded the army to reopen the main town’s road, which was blockaded fourteen years ago to enable easy access to the illegal colonist Israeli settlers, driving to and from Kedumim colony, built on privately-owned Palestinian lands.

Israeli sources said the young woman suffered a severe injury, after the soldiers shot her in the stomach, while the wounded soldier sustained a mild injury and was moved to a hospital.
The Palestinian woman was receiving treatment at the scene, and was later moved to a hospital.
Israeli daily Haaretz quoted colonist settlers claiming that the soldiers demanded that she stays away from the post, “but she approached them, and stabbed one, before she was shot.”
Following the incident, the army closed the main Palestinian road, linking between the governorates of Jenin and Tulkarem, also blocking traffic to all villages and towns near Jenin city.

Israeli navy ships opened fire, on Tuesday at dawn, on several fishing boats in Palestinian territorial waters, close to the shore in the Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza city, and injured a fisherman.
Medical sources said the wounded fisherman, 24 years of age, was shot in the leg, and suffered a moderate injury, before the medics moved him to the Shifa Medical Center, in Gaza city.
Following the attack, the fishermen had to sail back, without being able to fish, in fear of further Israeli escalation.
The attack is part of ongoing Israeli violations, targeting the fishermen and their boats, including deliberately destroying their boats and nets, in addition to frequently abducting them and confiscating their boats.
