The Israeli-US joint military exercise, dubbed "Juniper Cobra 18”, which has been taking place over occupied Palestinian territories since Sunday, March 04 was extended to the end of the month.

A Palestinian young man was killed while dozens injured by Israeli gunfire in protests in the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Friday over the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that Mohammed al-Ja'bari, a 24-year-old youth with a disability, died after sustaining serious injuries during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in al-Zawiya area in al-Khalil.
In Occupied Jerusalem, the PIC reporter said that nearly 50,000 Palestinian worshipers performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque amid strict Israeli security measures.

A Palestinian child sustained injuries at nightfall Thursday after he was chased down by an Israeli military patrol in the southern occupied West Bank province of al-Khalil.
Medics at the Aliya public hospital in al-Khalil said 12-year-old Ali al-Joulani was injured after he fell on a rock-strewn road south of al-Khalil city, where heavily-armed Israeli soldiers kept chasing him down.
The child sustained wounds in his left hand and face, along with an ankle rupture.

“We want to tell the entire world that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Palestine,” she said, “The Israeli occupation, its roadblocks and escalation will never stop us from struggling for our rights.”

The Palestinians started the peaceful procession in front of Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, where dozens of women and men marched towards the Qalandia terminal.
Almost instantly after the protesters reached an area close to the terminal, the soldiers started firing a barrage of gas bombs and concussion grenades.

Intisar al-Wazir, the secretary-general of the General Union of Palestinian Women, said the location of the procession at the Qalandia terminal which leads to occupied Jerusalem, represents the legitimate Palestinian rights to achieve liberation, and establish an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
“We want to tell the entire world that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Palestine,” she said, “The Israeli occupation, its roadblocks and escalation will never stop us from struggling for our rights.”

Army Injures Many Palestinians Near Ramallah
Israeli soldiers injured, Wednesday, many Palestinians who were marching peacefully against the illegal Israeli occupation, and in celebration of International Women’s Day.
The Palestinians started the peaceful procession in front of Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, where dozens of women and men marched towards the Qalandia terminal.
Almost instantly after the protesters reached an area close to the terminal, the soldiers started firing a barrage of gas bombs and concussion grenades.
Medical sources said dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation and received the needed treatment.
Injuries as Israeli army crushes Palestinian women’s march
A number of Palestinians were left injured on Wednesday after Israeli soldiers stationed at the Qalandia checkpoint, north of Occupied Jerusalem, attacked a march marking the International Women’s Day.
Israeli patrols reportedly showered the women with teargas and stun grenades as the march approached the heavily fortified checkpoint, in an attempt to disband the protesters.
Several protesters, including women, choked on teargas and were treated by Red Crescent paramedics.
The event was staged by the national factions to celebrate the International Women’s Day, marked on February 8, and protest the U.S. President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Israeli soldiers displaced, on Wednesday morning, two Palestinian Bedouin families from their homes in Khirbat Ibzeeq village, northeast of Tubas, in northeastern West Bank, as the army is preparing to conduct live fire military drills in their area.
The families said they will not be allowed back to their Dwellings from March 7th to March 21st and added that they also heard tank shells in the area, indicating that the army has already started its training.
Two days ago, that army notified 16 Palestinian families that they will be evicted from their homes in Khirbat Ibiziq village, under the pretext that the Israeli army will conduct military drills in the area.
Khirbet Ibiziq is comprised of Bedouins seeking water and pasture. The number of Bedouins living in the village is more than 256, including 16 families living in the area permanently, with the rest in a mobile state.
It is worth mentioning that dozens of Palestinians, including children, have been killed or injured, after encountering explosives, dropped by the soldiers during training.
Earlier on January of this year, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian child with a live round in the head, during “military training” near Tubas.

A local source reported that the IOF stormed different areas in Nablus province, raided a number of residential buildings and searched them.
In another context, the IOF confiscated two truckloads of gundelia coming from al-Khalil city toward the central vegetable market in Nablus and ordered their owner, merchant Abdulraziq Abu Thabet, to pay a large fine.
A number of Palestinians were kidnapped during raids into Bethlehem, Ramallah and Salfit provinces.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that military vehicles were deployed in large numbers in the Jordan Valley as part of military exercises carried out by the Israeli army.
