Dozens of Israeli soldiers and police officers invaded, Sunday, the offices of the Palestinian Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs, in Jerusalem governorate, and assaulted Palestinians, including staff members.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said the soldiers invaded the headquarters in Dahiat al-Barid area, north of Jerusalem, before attacking the Palestinians, causing mild-to-moderate wounds to five persons.
It added that the soldiers also fired many gas bombs at the Palestinians, hurled gas grenades into the offices.
The attack is part of Israel’s attempts and violations aiming at preventing the Palestinians from having any form of official officers, and organizations, in the occupied city.

He affirmed that several members of Palestinian families in this neighborhood suffered injuries during the settlers’ attack. Some of the wounded citizens were identified as Samiha as-Salayma, Hasan Abd Rabo, Khalil as-Salayma, Mohamed Da’na, Khalil Da’na, and Saber as-Salayma.
Israeli soldiers also helped the settlers in their attack and fired volleys of tear gas grenades on homes and closed several businesses.

The Egyptian delegation arrived on Thursday in the Gaza Strip to discuss the reconciliation and the ceasefire agreement with Israel.
Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since 30 March have been protesting on a daily basis along the eastern border to draw the world's attention to the Palestinian refugees' right of return and the worsening humanitarian situation in the enclave due to the decade-long blockade.
Since the start of the border protests, 228 Palestinians have been killed by the IOF and over 22,000 injured, 460 of whom are in critical condition.
