At least four youths were injured on Sunday evening when the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at the Palestinians taking part in the Great March of Return's night protests at the border east of Gaza.
The PIC reporter said that four Palestinian youths were injured by live ammunition and teargas canisters east of al-Bureij refugee camp, in the middle area of the Gaza Strip.
According to the PIC reporters in the Gaza Strip, dozens of Palestinian youths marched late on Sunday along the borderline east of Gaza, burned car tires, launched fireworks and fire balloons over the fence, and sang national songs.
Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have been protesting in the Great March of Return on a daily basis since 30 March. The border demonstrations are mainly aimed at shedding light on the Palestinian refugees' right of return and pressuring Israel to lift the decade-long blockade.
Since the protests started 217 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army and over 22,000 injured.

Several illegal Israeli settlers were videotaped, Saturday, throwing rocks at Palestinians in the village of Burin, southwest of the northern West Bank of Nablus.
They were seen throwing rocks at residences in the Nablus Governorate under the cover of Israeli forces whom stood guard for the colonizers. Quds News Network said the Palestinians were harvesting their olives when the settlers attacked. Yahia Qadous, the head of the Local Village Council in Burin, said the assailants came from Yitzhar colony, which was built on private Palestinian lands, in the southeastern area of the village. |
Qadous added that the Palestinians tried to remove the invading colonists, while the soldiers attacked them with gas bombs.
Hundreds of soldiers invaded, Saturday, Shweika area in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, and surrounded a local school just hours after dozens of soldiers invaded and searched it.
Media sources in Tulkarem, said the soldiers surrounded the under-construction school, once again, and closed the entire area, while dozens of soldiers have been deployed to prevent the Palestinians from entering or leaving it.
They added that the army also invaded many areas in Tulkarem, and used loud speakers demanding Ashraf Na’alwa, to surrender and turn himself in to the army.
The soldiers also brought two armored military bulldozers to the school area, and continued to surround and isolate Shweika, in Tulkarem.

The army said in a statement that an Israeli warplane attacked Palestinian youths flying fire balloons toward Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip.

Ayyash said that Israeli gunboats attacked a Palestinian fishing boat in the early morning hours, arrested the two brothers on board Karim and Mohammed Abu Hassan, and confiscated their boat.
He affirmed that the Abu Hassan brothers were fishing within the three-nautical-mile zone allowed by the Israeli authorities.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak on Friday said that he had killed 300 Palestinians "in only three and a half minutes".
"When I was defense minister, more than 300 Hamas members were killed in only three and a half minutes," Barak said in statements to the Hebrew TV channel Seven.
Barak criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said that he has repeatedly capitulated to Hamas because he does not have a strategy.
In commentary on Barak's statements, Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri said that the Israeli leader's confessions about killing 300 Palestinians in about three minutes confirm that Israel is a terrorist entity led by a group of murderers.
Abu Zuhri wrote on Twitter that the international community must react immediately to these dangerous confessions.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza gas confirmed that Israeli soldiers injured 130 Palestinians were injured by live bullets and caused many others to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, on Friday, as Israeli forces attacked the Great March of Return protests along the Gaza-Israel border.
Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, said the soldiers injured 130 Palestinians, with live fire. Dr. al-Qedra added that among the wounding are 30 children and four medics. |
