Israeli forces, early Thursday morning, broke into Deheisheh Refugee Camp, north of Bethlehem, where they raided homes, assaulted residents and arrested a father and his son.
The short mobile phone videos show Israeli soldiers raiding the house, attacking the residents and preventing one family member from documenting the process. video
Another video shows no less than 15 soldiers abducting the father, Nidal Abu Aker, and brutally leading him towards the military vehicle. One of the soldiers punches him in the neck and beats him along with the group of soldiers. video
Israeli forces proceed to abduct Nidal’s son, Muhammad, in the same manner, taken by a group of soldiers while he was resisting the detention. He is taken barefoot, while his mother and sisters watch from the window, throwing slippers for him to wear.
Both the father and son have been previously detained and imprisoned by Israeli occupation. Nidal Abu Aker spent at least 16 years in the prisons of the occupation, mostly in administrative detention, which was renewed at least 49 times since the age of 14.
According to the PNN, these barbaric incursions and detentions have become an almost daily habit, with Israeli forces breaking into the camp in packs, raiding homes and abducting residents, including children.
Three days ago, Israeli soldiers broke into a home and abducted two young sisters, Aseel Abu Aker (13) and Nisreen Aby Aker (15), from their home in the camp. The girls were taken to interrogation but were released on the same day, at night. Their father has spent 24 years in Israeli jails.

Since Na’alwa carried out the fatal shooting in Burkan illegal colony, killing two Israelis, identified as Kim Levengrond Yehezkel, 28, from Rosh HaAyin, and Ziv Hagbi, 35, from Rishon LeZion, and fled the scene, the military started ongoing invasions into his home, and the homes of his relatives along with dozens of homes and property.
The soldiers also repeatedly abducted members of his family, including his father, mother, sisters and brothers, in an attempt to locate him.
On October 15, 2018, the army invaded Shweika area in Tulkarem, and handed Ashraf’s family an official order for the demolition of their home.

Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee Member, Hanan Ashrawi, strongly condemned Israel's shelling and killing of three Palestinian minors, east of Khan Younis in the southern besieged Gaza Strip, on Monday.
Ashrawi condemned the "deliberate" killing of Khalid Bassam Said, 13, Abdullah al-Hamid Abu Daher, 13, and Muhammad Ibrahim al-Satra, 13, during an Israeli airstrike near Gaza's border as an "ongoing war crime." She stressed "The Israeli occupation army has been deliberately targeting and killing Palestinian children. This is a clear war crime in violation of international law and international humanitarian law." |
She added "Israel's continuous campaign of excessive and indiscriminate violence against the people of Gaza has persisted with impunity and has been emboldened by the US administration's strategic alliance with Israel."
The minors were killed for allegedly attempting to place a suspicious object near the security border fence with Israel, according to the Israeli army.
Ashrawi noted that since March 30th, more than 205 Palestinians, including at least 37 children, have been killed in Gaza, and thousands more have been injured by Israeli forces.
Ashrawi also warned that as long as the international community "remains silent, the decades-long injustice suffered by the Palestinian people will continue unabated."
"We believe it is time for governments worldwide to guarantee protection for the people of Palestine and effective accountability for Israel which includes serious punitive measures and sanctions."
She appealed to the International Criminal Court (ICC) to "assume a principled and just stand and press ahead with an official speedy investigation into Israel's egregious violations and flagrant war crimes being committed against the Palestinians."

Defense minister criticizes fellow ministers, saying they are 'deluded' for thinking an arrangement with Hamas is possible; 'without delivering the hardest blow we can, we won't restore the quiet or the calm to the south,' he insists.
Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman criticized his fellow Security Cabinet ministers on Monday for backing efforts to reach an arrangement with Hamas instead of delivering a strong blow to the Gaza terror organization.
"Anyone who counts on an arrangement with Hamas is greatly mistaken," Lieberman said at a meeting of his Yisrael Beytenu faction. "My stance on the situation in the south is clear and well known, but unfortunately some members of Cabinet are deluded, and we already know from the past where such delusions lead."
Arguing Israel doesn't have to wait for the next flare-up on the Gaza border, the defense minister insisted that "There's no way to reach an arrangement with Hamas, and without delivering the hardest blow we can, we won't restore the quiet or the calm to the south."
"The majority of the Cabinet doesn't think as I do," he lamented. "I think that we should've already delivered such a blow several months ago."
Lieberman insisted the IDF has already presented the Security Cabinet with operative plans, quipping that anyone who claims otherwise, "I volunteer to buy him a pair of glasses and hearing aids."
"The Gaza border communities' residents are 100 percent right. This situation has been going on for seven months. We've exhausted all options. Nevertheless, some 40 rockets were launched at southern Israel over the past weekend, and this clearly cannot continue," Lieberman said in reference to the residents' protests that took place on Sunday over the rocket barrage fired at the Gaza border communities overnight Friday.
"My demand is clear—we cannot agree to the equation Hamas is attempting to create. They cannot continue receiving Qatari fuel and resort to violence at the same time, and this is why we have to use other measures.
"There is no need for a ground operation in Gaza, since we have enough means to restore calm without it. Even if we kill 40,000 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists it is not worth losing one Israeli soldier," the defense minister stated.
Zionist Union Chairman Avi Gabbay said during his faction meeting that "The residents of the south have been living under constant rocket fire and Netanyahu remains silent. For the Gaza border communities' residents every weekend is a gamble—will riots erupt? Will rockets be fired or only 'several fires' will spark? Will houses be ruined or 'only a few people will suffer from anxiety'? Will Code Red alerts will sound or only black smoke will cover the skies?
"Hamas is playing the Russian roulette with the residents of the south, and Netanyahu says nothing," Gabbay concluded.

The Israeli occupation forces began on Monday large-scale military drills on the Gaza border and the northern Jordan Valley.
The Israeli army spokesman said sounds of heavy explosions and buzzing will be heard all the way through the maneuvers.
The preplanned exercises reportedly make part of Israel’s drill agenda for 2018 which seeks to buttress the soldiers’ aptitude in projected offensives.
Over recent days, tension has been running high in and around the blockaded Gaza Strip due to Israeli strikes on the enclave.
Overnight, three Palestinian children were killed after Israeli warplanes fired shells on the enclave.

Israeli occupation forces, on Sunday morning, opened fire at Palestinian farmers in the northern Gaza strip.
Local PNN sources said that Israeli soldiers opened fire on farmers in the town of Beit Hanoun, injuring one of them
Ma’an sources confirmed that one farmer was injured by Israeli forces and transferred to the Beit Hanoun Hospital to receive necessary medical treatment.
The medical condition of the injured Palestinian remained unknown.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces also opened fire at farmers, east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp, in central Gaza.
The farmers were forced to leave their lands in fear for their lives.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
The Israeli army regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds and farmers along the border areas if they approach the unilaterally declared buffer zone.
As part of Israel’s blockade of the coastal enclave since 2007, the Israeli army, citing security concerns, requires Palestinian fishermen to work within a limited “designated fishing zone,” the exact limits of which are decided by the Israeli authorities and have historically fluctuated.
