One Palestinian police officer was killed, on Monday evening, after carrying out a shooting attack against Israeli soldiers near Beit El settlement, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, wounding three of them, one seriously.
The Israeli army said the soldiers shot and killed the Palestinian, after wounding three of them, one seriously, at the Beit El road block.
The army added that the soldiers, manning a military tower close to the Annexation Wall, at the entrance of Beit El, came under fire from the Palestinian officer, before shooting him dead.
The officer has been identified as Mohammad Turkman, 25, from Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Palestinian medical sources said Turkman bled to death after the soldiers denied him medical attention, and prevented Palestinian Red Crescent medics from reaching him.
The Israeli ambulance provided the needed treatment to two wounded soldiers and moved them to hospitals in Israel.
Following the shooting several armored Israeli military vehicles invaded a fuel station, and a coffee shop, in the al-Baloa’ nearby area, in al-Biereh city.
The soldiers confiscated surveillance tapes and equipment, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs at local youngsters who hurled stones on the invading forces.
The army also declared Ramallah a closed military zone, and closed all military roadblocks leading to the district, in addition to installing several additional roadblocks.
Youth killed, 3 soldiers wounded in anti-occupation shooting
A Palestinian youth was shot dead by the Israeli occupation army on Monday evening after he carried out an anti-occupation shooting attack in Ramallah province, wounding three Israeli soldiers.
According to Israeli news outlets, one soldier was seriously wounded and two others were lightly-to-moderately hurt when a Palestinian anti-occupation youth opened fire at the Beit El checkpoint at the northern entrance to Ramallah city.

The resistance movement Hamas hailed the anti-occupation shooting, calling it heroic and “a strong message in the face of Israeli crimes”.
Hamas also called for “more involvement from Palestinian security officers in the Palestinian Intifada” (uprising).
The Islamic Jihad Movement also acclaimed the operation, dubbing it a natural response to Israel’s terrorism against the Palestinian people.
Speaking with the PIC, Islamic Jihad leader Khader Habib said the anti-occupation attack is a translation of Palestinians’ right to self-defense in light of the ongoing Israeli assaults on Islamic holy sites and Judaization of Occupied Jerusalem.
Palestinian national and Islamic factions in Qabatiya town mourned the slain youth.
Several Palestinians flocked to Turkman’s family home to extend condolences to his parents and relatives.
At least 236 Palestinians, including 11 from Qabatiya town, were killed by the Israeli occupation army since the outburst of the anti-occupation Jerusalem Intifada, in early October.

A Palestinian allegedly carrying out a car-ramming attack was reportedly killed by Israeli forces near the village of Beit Ummar in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron early on Sunday evening.
Israeli police spokeswoman Luba al-Samri said in a statement that the Palestinian driver was shot and "seemingly" killed after carrying out a car ramming attack in the vicinity of the illegal settlement bloc of Gush Etzion near Beit Ummar.
She added that two border police guards sustained minor injuries during the incident.
Meanwhile, a border police spokesperson told Ma'an that the Palestinian was "probably" killed, and that three border police officers had sustained very minor injuries.

Palestinian medical sources have reported, Wednesday, that a Palestinian man died from wounds suffered Tuesday when a speeding Israeli settler’s car struck his horse-drawn cart, in the northern West Bank district of Qalqilia, causing very serious injuries.
The sources stated that Mohammad Daoud, 61, died from his serious wounds on Wednesday evening, and that his wife, Maela Ali Daoud, is still receiving treatment for her moderate-to-severe wounds, at the Darwish Nazzal Hospital, in Qalqilia.
Palestinian Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Luay Erzeiqat, said in a press release that Daoud died at the Nablus Specialty Hospital, in Nablus city, in the northern part of the West bank, from wounds he suffered after being struck by the settler’s car.
The Israeli army said it is still looking into the incident to determine its nature, whether it is a deliberate attack or a hit and run, but did not provide any further information.
There have been many Palestinians were killed after being struck by speeding Israeli settlers’ cars in the occupied West Bank, also leading to dozens of injuries, while the settlers usually continue driving to their destinations before the army or the police even reach the scene.
Maan said that extremist Israeli colonists, illegally living in the occupied West Bank, have carried out 88 attacks against the Palestinians and their properties since the beginning of this year, while in 2015, they carried out at least 221 attacks.
It is worth mentioning that many attacks against the Palestinians remain unreported and undocumented by the Israeli army and police, and even in many documented attacks, the assailants are not prosecuted and are their attacks are met with impunity.
There are 500.000 to 600.000 Israelis living in more than 192 colonies and 323 outposts illegal built in the occupied Palestinian territory, in direct violation of International Law, and the Fourth Geneva Convention to which Israel is a signatory.

The sources added that an Israel soldier was slightly injured during the alleged stone-throwing attack.

The sources stated that Mahmoud Jamal Jouda, 23, was only 14 when was shot by soldiers in an army helicopter, and remained in a very bad condition, suffering constant complications and deterioration in his health condition.
He was shot in the spine, and the bullet was lodged in his spine, causing paralysis.
Jouda died while receiving treatment at the al-Makassed hospital, in at-Tour, in occupied Jerusalem; he suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
His father, Jamal, said that Mahmoud was only 14 when he was shot in his spine continued to suffered complications, and that he was moved to the Palestine Medical complex in Ramallah, before he was transferred to an Israeli hospital, due to the seriousness of his condition.
The child was later transferred to a rehabilitation center due to his paralysis, and was regularity treated in Palestinian, Israeli and Jordanian hospitals, due to various complications, including pressure sores and infections, and also underwent a colostomy surgery.
His family is from the Gaza Strip, and moved to the West Bank in 2007, after the internal armed conflict between Fateh and Hamas in Gaza.
His father is currently trying to transfer his body to Ramallah, in order to conduct proper burial ceremonies, and called on the Palestinian Authorities to help by contacting the Israeli side in order to facilitate the transfer and the needed coordination.

Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Wednesday afternoon, a young Palestinian woman at the Za’tara military roadblock, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, after she reportedly attempted to stab soldiers manning the roadblock.
Medical sources said the slain young woman has been identified as Raheeq Shjei’ Birawi, 23, from ‘Aseera ash-Shamaliyya town, west of Nablus.
Za’tara military roadblock, is close to Tapuach Junction, near Tapuach ultra-orthodox illegal colony, built on Palestinian lands between Nablus and Ramallah.
Israeli military sources claimed that the young woman attempted a stabbing attack against the soldiers, who shot her dead, before she could hurt any of them.
Following the shooting, the soldiers closed the military roadblock, preventing the Palestinians from crossing in both directions, while dozens of additional troops were deployed in the area.
Nasser Jawabra, the head of Aseera ash-Shamaliyya Local council, said that Raheeq was married to a Palestinian man who lives in the United States, and has no political affiliations.
Jawabra added the young woman’s father works as a construction worker in Israel, and that the soldiers detained him as he was trying to cross the roadblock, heading back home, and being informed that his daughter was killed.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has reported that a child was killed, on Wednesday evening, after Israeli soldiers opened fire into an area east of the al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army issued a statement denying any involvement in the shooting.
Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, said the soldiers, stationed on a military tower across the border fence, east of Khan Younis, fired many live rounds, one of them killing the child.
Dr. al-Qedra added that the child, identified as Abdullah Nasser Abu Methyef, 10, was shot with a live round in his back, and died from his wounds at Nasser Hospital, in Khan Younis.
He also stated that eyewitness accounts confirm the fact that the soldiers shot the child, in contrary of Israeli military allegations, adding that the child was killed close to his house.
Dr. al-Qedra was referring to a claim by the Israeli army spokesperson, Pauli Mordechai, who said that “the news accusing the army of killing a child are propaganda, used by various Palestinian and Arab news agency.
Mordechai also claimed that the source of fire that killed a child was “from a wedding, where some people were firing live rounds into the air.”
Eyewitnesses contradicted the statement, and said the source of fire clearly came from the Israeli military base, across the border fence.
On Wednesday morning, Israeli soldiers, stationed across the border fence, fired many live rounds targeting farmers in Palestinian lands, close to the border fence, across the eastern area of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian was a former political prisoner who was only released from an Israeli detention center earlier this year, after being held for 15 months.
His funeral was held just two hours after his death, with the participation of dozens of residents.
Clashes took place in Ein al-Louza neighborhood in Silwan, and the soldiers fired dozens of gas bombs, rubber-coated steel bullets, and live rounds.
