Ruqayya Eid Abu Eid 14
Israeli security guards shot and killed a 14-year-old Palestinian girl Saturday morning after reportedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack near the illegal settlement of Anatot northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Palestinian Health Ministry identified the girl as Ruqayya Eid Abu Eid, 14, who lives with her family in Anata town located near the illegal settlement, but she is originally from the city of Yatta south of al-Khalil.
Israeli police spokesperson Luba al-Samri claimed that the girl approached a gate leading into the Anatot settlement and attempted to stab a security guard.
The guard immediately fired gunshots at the girl, injuring her critically, al-Samri added. The child died on site shortly afterwards.
Since the outbreak of Jerusalem Intifada on Oct. 1, at least 164 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces or settlers including 32 children under 18 years old.
According to Addameer Association, the majority of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and Israeli settlers since 1st of October last year were killed in the context of alleged stabbing attempts. In many of the incidents eyewitnesses and footage confirmed the killings took place at a time when suspects no longer paused a threat or did not pause a threat at all.
IOF soldiers are systematically using lethal force against Palestinians as a first resort while ignoring arrest procedures and giving warnings. International law limits the use of lethal force to cases where suspects pose a serious threat, otherwise the killing would classify as extrajudicial execution and a blatant violation of the right to life as enshrined under human rights law and a grave breach to the Fourth Geneva Convention that constitutes a war crime under the Rome Statute.

Israeli driver hits Palestinian cyclists; killing one and wounding another
Two Palestinian youth riding their bikes near Salfit Monday were hit by an Israeli driver, killing one and wounding the other. It is not yet known if this was a politically-motivated 'ramming' attack, or a car accident.
The victim was identified as Khalil Mousa Amar, 19, a resident of a village near Salfit. His friend and fellow cyclist, age 17, was not identified at the time of this report.
Israeli ambulances which arrived on scene took the wounded Palestinian teenager to an Israeli hospital. Local sources report that no attempt was made by the Israeli authorities to locate or inform the family of the wounded minor's condition or whereabouts.
Israeli authorities report that the driver of the vehicle was taken in for questioning.
Just last week, a 34-year old Palestinian man was shot and wounded by the Israeli military in the same area, after allegedly attempting to bypass the checkpoint to sneak into Israel.
Over the past three months, more than 150 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli soldiers and settlers, and 20 Israelis have been killed by Palestinian 'lone wolf' attackers. Much of the West Bank and East Jerusalem has been placed under a lockdown by the Israeli military, and Palestinian workers have been prevented from reaching their jobs, while students have been kept out of school by military forces.

Muhammad Majdi Qaita 26
Israeli forces on Friday afternoon shot dead two Palestinians during clashes near al-Breij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, medical sources said.
Doctors told Ma’an that 19-year-old Muhammad Abu Zayed had been shot in the head. His body was taken to the al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
Medics added that at least 10 other Palestinian youths had been shot and wounded with live fire during the clashes.
Hours later, a second Palestinian died after being shot in the stomach during clashes in the same area.
Spokesman for Gaza’s Ministry of Health, Ashraf al-Qidra, identified the man as Muhammad Majdi Qaita, 26, from Khan Yunis. Qaita had been pronounced dead shortly after being taken to the al-Aqsa Matryrs Hospital, the spokesman added.
An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma'an that "multiple riots" were taking place along the border fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel on Friday.
The spokesperson said that that a number of Palestinians had "breached the buffer zone" and "damaged" the fence in the central Gaza Strip before Israeli forces "called on them to halt and fired warning shots into the air."
Shots were then fired directly at the demonstrators following the "threat of infiltration," the spokesperson said, adding that she aware of reports of Friday's death but was unable to confirm that any Palestinians were hit.
The death comes two days after another Gazan was killed and three seriously wounded when Israeli artillery bombarded an alleged "terrorist cell" east of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip.
At least 23 other Palestinians have been shot dead by Israeli forces in clashes along the Gazan border since the beginning of October, according to the UN Agency for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
Palestinians in the Gaza Strip initially began demonstrations in solidarity with Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem when unrest grew in the occupied area in October.
