A Palestinian young man was shot and killed Thursday evening after allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack at a market in Netanya city, which left two Israeli settlers wounded.
Israeli media sources reported that the unidentified Palestinian was shot and killed by Israeli police after he allegedly stabbed two Israeli settlers, one of them reportedly in serious condition.
According to a statement by the Israeli police, the two Israelis, a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s, were stabbed in the upper body and are receiving treatment, with one suffering moderate wounds and the other serious injuries.
Spokesperson for the Israeli police said that two Israelis were stabbed during the incident and confirmed initial reports that the Palestinian was from the occupied West Bank district of Tulkarem.
Israeli media reported that the killed Palestinian was 40 years old. A Palestinian teenager was also killed on Thursday morning in an illegal Israeli settlement in the southern occupied West Bank after carrying out an anti-occupation attack.
Rights groups have denounced what they have termed a "shoot-to-kill" policy by the Israeli forces, which they say has led to the death of numerous Palestinians who did not constitute a threat or who could have been subdued in a non-lethal manner.

It added that the Palestinian climbed over the security fence surrounding Harsanina neighborhood before infiltrating the house, close to the settlement fence.
She suffered various stab wounds all across her upper body, and died in Shaare Zedek Medical Center, in Jerusalem.
It is worth mentioning that Israeli soldiers assaulted Al-Jazeera Crew, allegedly for filming in a “closed military zone,” and kidnapped cameraman Labeeb al-Jazmawi, and Elias Karram.
Karram was released later, but the army refused to release al-Jazmawi.
Mohammad is related to Yousef Waleed Tarayra, who was killed by the Israeli army, on March 14, 2016, allegedly after he tried to ram soldiers with his car. Palestinian medics rushed to the scene, but the army closed the area and prevented them from approaching him, and he bled to death. The autopsy showed “overkill” by the soldiers.

Following the fatal shooting of a Palestinian child on the hands of Israeli soldiers, earlier Tuesday, the Israeli army admitted that the child was ‘likely’ just a bystander, and that he was shot dead allegedly after Palestinians hurled stones on Israeli vehicles. He was in a car that was targeted by the army, while driving on the same road.
In a statement, the Israeli army said the child, Mahmoud Rafat Badran, 14, was “traveling by car with his family, when some Palestinians hurled stones and a firebomb” on the highway between Jerusalem and Modi’in illegal colony, built on Palestinian lands, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
The slain child was returning back home, along with his friends, after swimming in a pool in Beit Sira nearby village.
Israeli daily Haaretz quoted the army saying some Palestinians apparently spilled oil on the highway, and hurled stones on an Israeli bus, and cars.
It added that one Israeli, traveling on a bus, and two foreigners traveling by car, suffered mild wounds, when several Palestinian youngsters hurled stones on the vehicles.
An israeli army officer, and a number of soldiers, were driving in the area and starting chasing Palestinians, and fired several live rounds targeting a Palestinian car that happened to be driving on the same road.
Several Palestinians were also shot and wounded by the Israeli fire, while the military was unable to determine whether the wounded Palestinians had anything to do with the “stone throwing incidents.”
The army said it initiated a probe into the incident, and that the investigation will continue by the Binyamin battalion, operating in the Ramallah district.
The army claimed several Israeli cars sustained damage in stone-throwing incidents in the area, but all managed to continue the drive to Maccabim Israeli military roadblock, and reported the incidents to the soldiers.

Mohammed Ahmad Khamamreh 19
Four Israelis were killed and several others injured, Wednesday night, in a shooting that took place in Tel Aviv by two Palestinian youth.
The two shooters, cousins in their early twenties, are reportedly from Yatta city, southern West Bank. One of them was arrested and taken in for questioning, while the other, who was injured, was taken to a hospital.
The attackers were disguised as ultra-Orthodox Jews when they entered a cafe in Tel Aviv.
Father of one of the youths, Ahmad Khamamreh, said that his son, Mohammad, is not affiliated to any political party or organization, and that the family was utterly shocked when they heard about him in the news.
“They [cousins] left the house wearing suits, which they never do, they always wear jeans and a T-shirts like all the guys here [in Yatta]. but I never expected them to do anything like this. They were not involved in such things at all,” Ahmad told PNN in an interview.
Ahmad says that the two left Yatta at about 9 AM, and that the family had lost contact with them and started searching for them in the city.
This went on until the Iftar time, sunset, when the family then called the PA security in Hebron, who also did not have the cousins. They then heard about the shooting in the news.
“After a long search we heard that there have been an operative in Tel Aviv and we were told that they might be our sons since the news said they were cousins, both in their twenties and from Yatta.”
In response to the shooting, Israel has cancelled entry permits for 83,000 Palestinians during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan.
Following the attack, as well, Israeli Forces broke into the family home of the Palestinian attackers in Yatta, and measured it for demolition.
“The [soldiers] searched the house, asked me about him and asked me where he sleeps… I answered that my son does not have his own house and sleeps here in a room with his siblings. Then they brought an engineer and took measurements of the house,” Ahmad said.
Soldiers have also closed down all the entrances and exits of the city, and are searching all the cars passing there.
The political situation has been worsening since October of 2015, between Palestinians and Israelis, with the escalation of Israeli confiscation of land, executions and imprisonments. Since then, 32 Israelis, two visiting US citizens, and some 218 Palestinians have been killed.

Tensions continued to escalate in the besieged Gaza Strip since Wednesday afternoon after Israeli forces carried out several airstrikes and incursions in total violation of the ceasefire agreement reached in August 2014.

A Palestinian young man was shot and killed Tuesday evening by Israeli gunfire after he allegedly rammed his car into a group of Israeli soldiers near the illegal settlement of Dolev in Ramallah, injuring three of them.
Israeli 0404 website claimed that a suspected car ramming attack occurred Tuesday evening at a junction near the illegal Israeli settlement of Dolev northwest of Ramallah.
Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed in a brief statement that an unidentified Palestinian young man was shot and killed at Beitunia checkpoint west of Ramallah.
Yediot Ahranot Hebrew newspaper said that three Israelis were injured, one of them in critical condition, in a car ramming attack.
The suspected driver was immediately shot and killed, according to the paper. Israeli ambulance crews rushed to the area while Israeli helicopters transferred the seriously injured soldier to hospital.
More than 200 Palestinians were shot and killed by Israeli soldiers since October 2015. With the Palestinian death rate climbing as Israeli forces continue their crackdown on Palestinian protesters across the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip's border, Israel's extrajudicial killings policy is once again being questioned.
Amnesty International has recently released a report titled, "No Justification for deliberate attacks on civilians, unlawful killings by Israeli forces, or collective punishment of Palestinians". The report said that many of the Israeli killings come close to the definition of extrajudicial killings.
