Newly-released affidavits and testimonies have testified to the cold-blooded and deliberate manner with which 17-year-olds Dania Ersheid and Mohammed kmail were shot and killed by the Israeli occupation troops while posing no threat, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) reported Monday.
A report by the PCHR slammed the Israeli occupation forces for continuing to flagrantly commit more crimes and violations against Palestinian civilians, the latest of which was the killing of Dania Jehad Ersheid, 17, at one of the gates leading to the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil and Ahmed Mohammed Sa'id Kmail, 17, at al-Jalama crossing, northeast of Jenin.
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights quoted an eye-witness as stating that at approximately 13:30 on Sunday, 25 October 2015, in a new cold-blooded crime, Israeli border cops stationed at the entrance of the Ibrahimi Mosque, south of al-Khalil's Old City, killed Dania Jehad Ersheid, 17. The occupation officers opened fire at her when she stopped to have her school bag searched. Ersheid's corpse was later taken to an unknown destination.
According to investigations conducted by PCHR and a statement of an eyewitness, at approximately 13:30, Ersheid entered the Ibrahimi Mosque's yard through a metal detector gate fixed between the aforementioned yard and the old market in the city. She obeyed the soldiers' orders to be searched in the place where she was asked to stay. While one of the soldiers standing behind a desk was searching the girl's school bag, a number of border cops gathered around her.
Ersheid was standing behind an iron barrier erected by Israeli soldiers to allow persons subjected to searching pass through it. The soldier, who was searching the bag, asked the girl, "Where is the knife? Where is the knife?" The girl replied, "I do not have a knife," and put her hands up. She was extremely frightened.
An officer fired a bullet around Ersheid, whereas the bullet hit the wall behind her. She moved few steps backwards putting her hands up, but a number of bullets were fired at her. As a result, she fell to the ground and died.
The girl did not pose any threat to the security and lives of Israeli soldiers. She was even putting her hands up when the soldier was talking to her and accused her of having a knife.
Furthermore, the area, where the girl was killed, was reinforced and backed-up. The Israeli forces could have arrested her instead of killing her if she posed any threat to them.
On Friday, 23 October 2015, in another crime of excessive use of force, private security guards serving the Israeli army killed a Palestinian child while running towards the first barrier at al-Jalama crossing, northeast of Jenin.
According to PCHR's investigations and statements of eyewitnesses, on the abovementioned day, Ahmed Mohammed Sa'id Kmail, 17, was present along with other peddlers in the place where they used to stay.
At approximately 11:00, Kmail ran towards the first barrier at al-Jalama crossing. The security guards noticed him and opened fire at him. Kmail fell to the ground and the Israeli troops denied the Red Crescent paramedics access to the area. Soon after, Kmail's corpse was pulled inside the crossing and the security guards stopped the traffic.
PCHR noted that the victim was present at the checkpoint in the early morning along with other peddlers. A number of eyewitnesses said to PCHR's field reporter that they saw him selling chocolate-coated marshmallow treats.
PCHR strongly condemned such Israeli crimes, saying in the above-mentioned cases the Israeli soldiers could have used less force against the victims or could have arrested and tied them if their allegations were true.

Saad al-Atrash 18
Another Palestinian teenager breathed his last afternoon Monday after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces close to the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil, in the southern West Bank.
According to a PIC news reporter, the IOF shot more than seven times at 18-year-old Saad al-Atrash, leaving him in a critical condition some 100 meters away from the famed mosque.
Al-Atrash was then left on the ground, bleeding, while Red Crescent ambulances were prevented from reaching the area and assisting the casualty.
Local sources added that the youth was subjected to harsh physical and verbal assaults by Israeli vandals in the presence of the occupation troops.
The teen’s family said their son was announced dead in an Israeli hospital.
On-the-spot observers said al-Atrash was slaughtered in the typically cold-blooded manner with which the occupation troops often took away the lives of Palestinian protesters and anti-occupation activists.
Earlier on Sunday, the occupation soldiers fired multiple shots at the Palestinian girl Dalia Ershid, taking her life right away on allegations that she attempted to stab an occupation officer near the Ibrahimi Mosque.

The number killed by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip continues to rise as a Palestinian succumbed, Saturday, to wounds sustained during a demonstration days before, Gaza’s ministry of health said.
Spokesperson of the ministry of health, Ashraf al-Qidra, told Ma’an News Agency that Khalil Hassan Abu Obeid, 25, died after being injured by Israeli forces in eastern Khan Younis.

Yesterday, Yahya Karira, 20, died after being shot in the head by Israeli forces during clashes last week in the Nahal Oz area.
Clashes began to erupt inside of the Gaza Strip and along the border fence earlier this month as demonstrators marched in solidarity with Palestinians in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Tensions initially escalated in the areas following the fatal shooting of two Israeli settlers on Oct. 1, reprisal settler attacks, as well as increased restrictions on Palestinian entry to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that the third week of October held the highest number of injured in the Gaza Strip since the end of the war in 2014.
Yesterday at least 95 Palestinians were injured by live ammunition and rubber-coated steel bullets during clashes in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent and Gaza’s ministry of health. Video

thwarted at the Gilboa crossing," using an alternate name for the checkpoint, where "security personnel" shot and killed the suspect to prevent an attack.
The spokesperson was unable to confirm any injuries and said the Israeli military was currently investigating the incident. The crossing has since been closed.
The teen's death at the northern border of the occupied West Bank marks at least 55 Palestinians killed since the beginning of the month.
While at least 28 of those killed were shot dead after carrying out attacks on Israeli military or civilians, several cases have been disputed by eyewitnesses and investigations by rights groups who say the suspects posed no threat at the time of their death.
Video footage of such incidents has raised criticism of what Israeli rights group B'Tselem terms an Israeli policy of "extrajudicial execution," where a "shoot-to-kill" policy advocated by Israeli officials has led to high numbers of unnecessary deaths.
At least nine Israelis have been killed by Palestinians since Oct. 1, leading Israeli authorities to heighten security measures and number of Israeli military personnel and police across the occupied Palestinian territory. Video just before the killing

Medical sources said that one of the Palestinians was killed and later identified as Mahmoud Ghneimat from the West Bank city of Al-Khalil. The other was critically wounded, and was identified as Miqdad al-Heeh.
The increasing number of Israeli killings of Palestinians has pushed many of the media monitors and analysts to examine each case of the killings, according to Days of Palestine.
Regarding this incident, and throughout the coverage of the Israeli media, it became clear that the Palestinians did not plan to stab settlers or even have knives.
Israeli news site Ynet reported the incident with pictures of two knives, one of then stained with blood and bearing three screws in the handle. It reiterated that the pictures were of the knives used in this exact incident.
However, another Israeli news website called NRG reported the incident with pictures including only one knife without blood, and it has no screws in the handle. The website also stressed that the pictures were from the scene of this exact incident.
Meanwhile, Israeli media and police have also reported contradicting narratives about the incident, one being that the two Palestinians went into an Israeli bus and started stabbing travelers, but one of the Israelis stopped them and called the police, who immediately arrived and shot them.
Another narrative said that they wanted to travel by bus, but were denied passage. So, they went to look for Israelis to kill them.
A third narrative said that when they wanted to take the bus, the Israelis recognized that they were Arabs and shouted “terrorists, terrorists,” and the two Palestinians fled. Then, the police saw and shot them.
Regardless of all of these complications, a video for the two Palestinians showed them lying on the ground bleeding, while police prevented any medical assistance for them; however, they were unable to move and apparently did not pose any threat.
This proves that they were intentionally executed and the Israeli police was to blame for their killing.
