The Israeli occupation police on Saturday evening arrested a Palestinian female child in Bab al-Amud area of east Jerusalem, with no known reason.
According to al-Quds Media Center, the little girl was identified as Asyl Salahuddin and was taken to a police station in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The Israeli police and the Shin Bet launched at dawn on the same day an arrest campaign in the Old City.
Local sources said that six Palestinian young men were kidnapped from their homes and detained at al-Qashlah police station in the Old City before releasing them later.
The young men were handed orders banning their entry to the Aqsa Mosque for two weeks.

A female soldier suffered scratches as she was trying to restrain the girl. The detainee was later transferred to a Shin Bet interrogation center.
Local sources, in turn, identified the detainee as 15-year-old Amaal Kabha, noting that the Israeli army launched a manhunt for her parents. Later at night, an Israeli military force stormed Umm al-Rayhan town, located behind the segregation wall in Jenin, and kidnapped the brothers of Amaal, who carried out the stabbing attack.
The detained brothers are 20-year-old Mohamed Qabha and 21-year-old Sanad Qabha. In other separate incident, the IOF kidnapped last night two other young men in different areas of Jenin. Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers intercepted and searched a car on the road leading to the eastern towns of Jenin before detaining a young passenger.
The sources added that the young man, 18-year-old Mohamed Abul-Hasan, was interrogated on-site and then arrested, with no known reason.
Another young man called Muamen Assabagh, 22, was also rounded up, with no reported reason, at an Israeli makeshift checkpoint west of Jenin.

An Israeli settler was injured in a stabbing attack in Tur neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem on Thursday afternoon.
The Hebrew website 0404 said that an Arab youth stabbed the Israeli settler with a screwdriver then fled the scene.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rushed to the scene and combed the neighborhood in search for the youth.
Israeli police spokeswoman Luba al-Samri said that the police forces were looking for the suspect and were investigating the incident.
Earlier at noon Thursday, IOF soldiers rounded up five Palestinians after storming Shufat refugee camp in Occupied Jerusalem, local sources said, adding that the five carried West Bank IDs.
In Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, IOF soldiers fired live and rubber bullets along with teargas during two raids on the camp wounding a young man with a live bullet, locals reported, adding that he was hospitalized.

An Israeli driver on Monday morning was injured when stones smashed the windshield of the bus he was driving on a road northeast of Occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Hebrew website 0404, Palestinian teenagers hurled stones at an Israeli passenger bus as it was traveling on a road in Hizma town, causing material damage to it and slight injuries to its driver.
Later, the Israeli police launched a manhunt for the stone throwers in the town.
Such attacks are waged by Palestinian young people against Israeli targets in reaction to various violations committed on a daily basis by Jewish settlers and soldiers against the Palestinians, their holy sites and property in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Israeli soldiers and police officers gathered around the wounded young man while pointing their guns on the Palestinians, forcing them to leave the immediate area.
Israeli Ynet News said the soldiers “shot the woman after she ran at them,’’ and added that a search of her body revealed she was not armed.

Israeli forces moved into the eastern part of the town of Beit Sahour, just outside Bethlehem, after unknown persons fired several shots at a vehicle driven by an Israeli settler near the settlement of Har Homa.
According to local sources, no injuries were reported, but the shots caused damage to the vehicle. Israeli media sources report that the gunshots were fired from a car by unknown assailants who were able to flee the scene.
The Israeli military then moved in to conduct searches and interrogations in Beit Sahour, but as of this report had not apprehended any suspect.
Har Homa was constructed beginning in the late 1990s on illegally-seized Palestinian land on the mountain of Abu Ghneim, which had been part of the town of Beit Sahour.
Beit Sahour has the highest concentration of Palestinian Christians, and is known as ‘Shepherd’s Field’, where Christians believe that the shepherds received a message from an angel about the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.
Around 600,000 Israeli settlers live in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in direct violation of international law, signed peace agreements and the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the transfer of a nation’s civilian population into land occupied by the nation’s military.
Over 16,000 of these Israeli settlers live in Har Homa, which is built on a hilltop overlooking Beit Sahour. It has become one of the largest illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

A Palestinian youngster was seriously injured Monday after allegedly carrying out an anti-occupation stabbing attack near Gush Etzion settlement illegally built north of al-Khalil to the south of the West Bank.
Israeli media sources said that a Palestinian young man was seriously injured after Israeli occupation forces opened their machinegun fire at him for allegedly stabbing two Israeli soldiers.
The two Israeli soldiers were immediately taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to the sources.
The young man was arrested on the scene despite suffering serious gunshot injuries.

Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said that an Arab young man was arrested on King George street in central Jerusalem after he aroused the suspicion of policemen as he was intending to board the light rail.
Samri claimed the policemen questioned the young man and knew from him that he was carrying an explosive device in his bag.
She added that the police temporarily closed off the main King George street and Jaffa street after checking the bag and neutralizing the bomb.

The Israeli occupation police backtracked on accusing a Palestinian young man of trying to carry out a stabbing attack on Thursday morning at the entrance to Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem.
The police also admitted that plain-clothes officers mistakenly opened fire at 22-year-old Yehya Hejazi, from Anata town in Jerusalem, during his presence at Shuafat checkpoint.
Hejazi, who has suffered eight bullet injuries in his legs as well as a leg fracture, underwent several surgeries at Shaare Zedek hospital, according to his family.
The family told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that its son had been exposed to brutal beating by Israeli soldiers after the shooting.
Hejazi told his family that he left his car at the checkpoint to stop a quarrel between two other young men when soldiers suddenly opened fire at him with no reason.

According to Israeli news sources, an undercover unit opened fire at a Palestinian youngster near the Shu’fat military checkpoint and arrested him right away.
Shortly after the shooting, Israeli border police troops rushed to the scene and sealed off the checkpoint.
An Israeli police statement claimed the youngster attempted to carry out an anti-occupation stabbing. The casualty sustained injuries in his hand and was dragged to an Israeli investigation center without treatment.
