Israeli forces, on Saturday, chased Palestinian olive pickers off their land in the town of Burin, to the south of Nablus, according to an official.
The Director of fieldwork in Rabbis for Human Rights, Zakaria El –Sdeh, informed WAFA Palestinian News & Info Agency that forces chased Palestinians harvesting their olive crops in land situated near Israeli settlements illegally built in the area, following a settlers’ failed attempt to attack farmers.
Meanwhile, a group of Israeli settlers attacked the outskirts of the town of Madama to the south of Nablus. Settlers reportedly threatened Palestinian locals that their fate would be similar to that of the Dawabsha family and teenager Muhammad Abu Khdeir.
On July 31, settlers set fire to the Dawabsha family’s home, killing the parents and their toddler baby, Ali, and leaving 4-year-old Ahmad an orphan, whereas Abu Khdeir, aged 17, was kidnapped and burnt to death by settlers in mid 2014.
Settlements are illegal under international law as they violate Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the transfer of the occupying power’s civilian population into occupied territory.
Al-Haq human right organization said that, “The illegal Israeli settlement policy of transferring Israeli civilians into occupied territory is directly responsible for creating a hostile environment that puts civilians, both Israeli and Palestinian, in harm's way.”
Al-Haq stated that, “Attacks by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank against members of the Palestinian population and their property are an extensive, long-term, and worsening phenomenon.”
Al-Haq has documented a significant increase in incidents of settler violence against the Palestinian population of the West Bank since 2011.

Yesterday evening, Israeli forces kidnapped two activists from local rights group, Youth Against Settlement (YAS), in Hebron. Illegal settlers, under the protection of soldiers, closed the YAS center, the Soumud house, trapping everyone inside.
According to the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), the IOF stormed the house in the evening around 7 pm, and arrested 16-year old Ahmad al-Azzeh, accusing him of ‘having a knife’.
Israeli soldiers also abducted Issa Amro, the YAS coordinator, under the accusation of ‘disturbing the soldiers’ and ‘hiding a terrorist in his house’. Issa Amro was detained in a bathroom for more than four hours, with his hands cuffed behind his back and blindfolded. He was interrogated for long periods of time, as stated by ISM.
Whereas Issa Amro was released after more than 5 and a half hours, Ahmad al-Azzeh’s arrest was extended for another 4 days, according to the PNN. He has been detained merely on a soldier’s accusation of ‘seeing him with a knife’. “This ridiculous allegation is clearly a means to intimidate the whole group and on the long run force them to leave the area”, ISM reported on their website.
Following these detentions, settlers from the nearby illegal settlement approached the Soumud house, protesting and demanding Israeli occupation forces to close it immediately, as stated by ISM. Groups of settlers have been outside the center the whole evening, and even brought mattresses to sleep in front of the house’s door the whole night.
Everyone there, thus, was trapped inside without a possibility to leave. The whole time, Israeli soldiers present in large numbers allowed the settlers to do as they pleased, without ever intervening. A group of about 30 settlers camped outside the Soumud house, thus laying a siege to it and forcing everyone inside to spent the night there. As of Saturday, 28th November 10:30am, settlers are still outside the center, according to ISM.
The local activist group, Youth Against Settlements, has constantly been targeted by the Israeli military for their non-violent resistance to the Israeli occupation. Only a month ago, Israeli occupation forces took over the center for military use, destroying their media equipment. Settlers have repeatedly attacked the group members and wrongfully accused them of crimes.

The Israeli army, Thursday, demolished two commercial structures and seized some of their contents in the village of Hosan, west of Bethlehem, according to local sources.
Hassan Hamamreh, mayor of Hosan, told WAFA that an Israeli army force, accompanied by bulldozers, broke into the village and demolished two commercial structures belonging to Ishaq Shousha and Bajes Oudeh, two local Palestinians, citing unpermitted construction as a pretext for the demolition.
The two structures are used as stores to sell construction related material and scrap.
The Israeli military also seized heavy machinery and other equipment available in both stores, including a bagger, forklift trucks and motor homes.
Issuance of construction permits for Palestinians living in Area C, under full Israeli administrative and military control, is strictly limited, forcing those living in such areas to embark on construction without obtaining a permit.
According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), between December 30, 2014 and January 12, 2015, Israeli authorities demolished 27 Palestinian structures in Area C of the West Bank and five in East Jerusalem, in addition to two self-demolition incidents, due to lack of Israeli-issued building permits.
The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) affirmed that Israeli authorities do not only demolish Palestinian homes, but also hinder the issuance of any building licenses for Palestinians in Jerusalem and its boundaries.
Al-Maqdisi Institute reported that between the years of 2000 and 2014, Israeli authorities demolished around 1,342 buildings in East Jerusalem (the areas annexed by Israel in 1967), which has resulted in the displacement of approximately 5,760 people.

Also on Thursday, Israeli settlers shut down the Gush Etzion road junction, south of Bethlehem, obstructing Palestinian traffic movement, security sources said.
A group of Jewish settlers gathered at Gush Etzion junction and closed the main road that connects between Hebron and Bethlehem.
Public transporters and drivers were therefore compelled to use a detour that goes through nearby Beit Fajjar village to reach their intended destinations.
Violence by illegal Jewish settlers is increasingly becoming a daily occurrence. They have repeatedly attacked Palestinian property and worship places and the attacks include; property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

A group of Jewish settlers escorted by policemen and two intelligence officers on Thursday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque's courtyards.
Local sources said that Israeli policemen escorted 29 settlers during their tour of the Mosque's plateaus, which raised the ire of Muslim worshipers there and prompted them to express their protest by chanting religious slogans.
The sources added that two Shin Bet officers also entered the Mosque in the morning and toured its precincts.
Meanwhile, the Israeli police, as always, prevented a number of Palestinian women from entering the Aqsa Mosque at the pretext that they cause trouble and obstruct their work.

Israeli right-wing paramilitary settlers, on Wednesday, broke into the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem, in an act of provocation against Muslims worldwide, who consider it the third-holiest site in Islam. Such invasions, with weapons, into the sacred site are considered a severe violation of its sanctity.
Right-wing Jewish hard-liners and rabbis stormed and toured the mosque compound in the morning, provoking tension with Palestinian worshippers who chanted religious slogans in defiance of the invasion of the sacred site.
Meanwhile, Israeli police continue to impose restrictions on Palestinian entry to the site, especially women and youth, holding their identity cards prior to admittance.
The site has continually witnessed invasions of the sacred interior of the mosque by the Israeli military and armed paramilitary settlers - this has increased significantly beginning in August of this year when Israeli soldiers teargassed worshippers in the mosque.
The Jewish extremists invading the site on numerous occasions have stated publicly that they believe the mosque should be destroyed and replaced with a Jewish temple.
Reports that Israel was planning to enforce a temporal division of the mosque between Muslims and Jews also helped fuel the current round of unrest in the occupied Palestinian territories and Israel.
The site is the third holiest place for Muslims, and has, since 1967, been among the core issues in the Palestinian struggle for self-determination. Near the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a site where some Jews believe that two Jewish temples were destroyed in ancient times.
Many Palestinian Muslims worry that if Jewish visitors were allowed to pray in the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, it would eventually lead to a permanent change which will result in full Israeli control and ban on Muslim prayer.
Despite the fact that the site is the location of al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock, two of the most holy destinations for Muslims, hundreds of Jewish extremists regularly attempt to legalize prayer at the compound, a move that Israeli police say is a provocation against Muslim worshippers.

Israeli police decided to limit the number of settlers who storm the Aqsa Mosque in order to contain Palestinians’ outrage and also in an attempt to legitimize dividing the Muslims’ holy site.
The Translation and Monitoring Department at the PIC quoted the Israeli Channel Seven as saying that Israeli police will allow 45 settlers to visit the Aqsa Mosque in the morning and 15 settlers in the evening starting from Monday.
The Israeli Occupation Authority (IOA) claims that the purpose of this move is to reduce the confrontation with Palestinians.
However, Palestinians opined that it indicates the Israeli failure to protect settlers in light of Jerusalem Intifada.

A group of Israeli settlers attacked Monday morning a Palestinian primary school with stones near Kiryat Arba settlement south of al-Khalil.
The school Headmaster Hisham Qawasmi told a PIC reporter that settlers from the nearby Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba stoned the school, pointing out that several military checkpoints were erected in the surrounding areas.
The school, that has more than 340 students, is frequently subjected to similar attacks and violent raids at the hands of Israeli settlers and soldiers, he added.
A similar attack was reported in Nablus when a group of settlers stoned a secondary school in Burin town south of the city.
Nearly 20 Israeli settlers stoned Sunday afternoon the school in an attempt to break into it.
The school was evacuated following the settlers’ attack.
Israeli forces rushed to the area and heavily fired tear gas bombs towards the students.
Israeli settlers have escalated their attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem over the past two months, amid growing tension and ongoing clashes between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers.
In this regard, the Israeli Human Rights Center B’Tselem said that “Palestinians are left unprotected not due to any lack of legal means, but because the authorities employ an unofficial yet longstanding policy of leniency and lack of law enforcement on violent settlers.”

Groups of Jewish settlers on Sunday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque's courtyards under tight police protection.
The settlers' unwelcome presence at the Islamic holy shrine provoked the Muslim worshipers there into expressing their protest by chanting religious slogans.
Meanwhile, Israeli policemen outside the Aqsa Mosque compound arrested a Palestinian young man and took him in for interrogation.
The Israeli police also restricted the entry of young men and women to the Mosque and confiscated their IDs before allowing them in.
Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani, director of the Aqsa Mosque, said that a Jewish extremist tried to perform Talmudic rituals near al-Marwani prayer hall before Israeli policemen intervened and escorted him out of the compound.
Sheikh Kiswani added that some settlers described the Mosque as a temple mount and threatened to intensify their desecration of the Islamic holy shrine.

Shadi Mohammad Mahmoud Khseib
A Palestinian taxi driver was shot dead by an armed Israeli paramilitary settler on Sunday after crashing into another car on the main road near the village of 'Anata east of Jerusalem in the West Bank.
The killing of the taxi driver is the second killing of a Palestinian civilian by Israeli paramilitary settlers in less than two hours on Sunday morning. Around 9:30 AM a 16-year old girl was rammed by a car and then shot dead by armed Israeli settlers.
In the 'Anata incident, Israeli authorities also attempted to claim that the victim 'had a knife', but no evidence of the presence of a knife was provided.
Instead, eyewitnesses claim that the taxi driver had a car accident, and had gotten out of his car to deal with the accident when he was shot multiple times by an armed paramilitary settler, and killed.
The deceased was identified as Shadi Mohammad Mahmoud Khseib from al-Bireh, near Ramallah in the central West Bank.
The Israeli settler who shot and killed Khseib was said to have a 'scratch on his hand' which did not require any medical treatment, according to Israeli media sources.
The incident took place near the entrance to the illegal Israeli settlement colony of 'Kfar Adumim', which was constructed on land stolen from the Palestinian town of 'Anata.
Palestinian youth fatally shot by Israeli troops in eastern O. Jerusalem
A Palestinian young man was shot dead by the Israeli occupation soldiers on Sunday morning on allegations of a stabbing attempt.
The Israeli Channel 10 claimed that a driver came out of a Palestinian car shortly after it hit a vehicle carrying Israeli settlers near the illegal Ma’aleh Adumim outpost and attempted to stab the Israeli driver.
The Palestinian casualty breathed his last right on the spot after he was cold-bloodedly shot by the occupation soldiers.
Eyewitnesses said the Israeli soldiers prevented paramedics and ambulances from reaching the scene, leaving the casualty bleed to death.

Ashraqat Taha Qatanany 16
A Palestinian girl succumbed to her wounds on Sunday morning after she was run over and shot by the former head of Israeli settlements in the northern West Bank, Gershon Mesika, near Hawara checkpoint in Nablus.
Moments after the run-over, the Israeli assailant shot the girl, leading to her immediate death.
Israeli media claimed that the girl was murdered after an alleged stabbing attempt. There are no reports of any Israeli injuries.
Live snapshots of the scene showed a knife placed next to the casualty’s body.
Observers said the occupation soldiers swiftly planted it there after the the girl was run over and shot. Video

Her killer Gershon Mesika
According to Israeli reports, a bystander, former head of the West Bank northern settlements, Gershon Mesika, rammed his car into the girl after seeing her attempting to stab an Israeli soldier.
Preliminary investigations said the girl breathed her last at the scene after she was left bleeding on the ground for long hours.
The Israeli occupation soldiers prevented paramedics and ambulance crews from assisting the casualty.
Sometime later, the girl was evacuated to an Israeli hospital in 1948 Occupied Palestine.
The Israeli army troops sealed off the Hawara checkpoint, in southern Nablus, and denied Palestinian citizens access out of and into the area.
Israeli Settlement Leader Kills Palestinian Girl, Claims 'she Had A Knife'
On Sunday morning Israeli colonial settlement leader Gershon Mesika rammed a teenage girl with his car, claiming 'she had a knife'. When the girl, Ashraqat Taha Qatanany, 16, from Nablus, fell to the ground, another Israeli paramilitary settler pulled over and shot her multiple times.
While Israeli authorities claim that Mesika "thwarted a terror attack", the claim of Mesika and the other settler that the girl had a knife contradicts other accounts of the incident.
The child did not harm or attempt to harm anyone, and a knife photographed at the scene appears to have been tossed near her dead body.
Gershon Mesika, from Elon Moreh illegal colony, is the former head of the Samaria Regional Council, which is a body organized by Israeli settlers living illegally in the occupied West Bank.
He rammed the child with his car, landing the car in the ditch and leaving the girl lying prone on the ground. A paramilitary settler from the car behind Mesika's then got out of his car and fired multiple shots at the girl.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Israeli paper Yedioth Ahranoth reported that the shooting was done by an Israeli driver of a vehicle behind Mesika's. A later article by the Israeli news agency Arutz Sheva claimed that she was shot 'by soldiers on the scene'.
A number of recent incidents in which Palestinians were shot and killed have been questioned by Palestinians and their supporters, as the eyewitness reports that unarmed Palestinian civilians were shot by Israeli paramilitary settlers have been reported in the Israeli and international media as 'thwarted attacks'. In several cases, the Israeli military appears to have taken credit for shootings that were actually carried out by paramilitary settler groups.

Fadi Hoosh 22
A group of Israeli youth burnt to death, on Friday night, the Israeli-Arab citizen Fadi Hoosh, aged 22, witnesses said.
Israeli police found the burnt body of the Israeli-Arab citizen inside a car in the garbage dump of the neighbourhood of Kafr Kannah.
Israeli media sources reprted that the police decided to have the body autopsied, in order to know the reason of death, and to search for any hints related to the perpetrators.
Witnesses told Days of Palestine that the car was damaged from the inside, that it did not appear to have been burned from outside.
Arab witnesses said that they saw a number of Israeli Jews attacking the deceased man, then put him inside the car and set it on fire.
“After a couple of minutes, they extinguished the fire and left him inside the car and very quickly fled the scene,” witnesses said.
It was reported that the Israeli police have said the background of the death is not criminal.
