Groups of Jewish settlers Tuesday morning stormed the plazas of the Aqsa Mosque from the Magharebah gate under tightened security measures by Israeli police and Special Forces.
Muslim worshipers confronted the settlers as one of them attempted to perform Talmudic rituals at the Muslims’ holy site. Jerusalemite women of those who are banned of accessing the Aqsa Mosque along with other female sit-inners were barred from entry.
Settlers deliberately desecrate the Aqsa Mosque by storming its plazas at early hours every day, exactly at seven o’clock in the morning.

On January 4th, a number of Israeli tourists on an Aegean Airline plane flying from Athens to Tel Aviv announced that they would not let the plane take off unless two Palestinian passengers from East Jerusalem disembarked.
The incident occurred when a number of Israeli passengers discovered that two passengers on the plane were Palestinians from East Jerusalem.
The Israeli passengers informed a flight attendant of the two passengers and said that they would prohibit the plane from taking off with the Palestinians on board.
When the captain shut the cabin door and indicated that the plane was ready for takeoff, the Israelis stood up. Since it is forbidden to take off with standing passengers, the captain stopped the plane.
According to the Israeli Radio station, Voice of Israel, others on the plane were shocked and did not understand what the Israeli passengers wanted. The passengers and flight crew debated for an hour.
When the team realized that the Israelis were set on continuing their protest, they offered the two Palestinian passengers a night in a hotel and the same flight the following day. The passengers agreed and exited the flight.
Nevertheless, the Israeli passengers demanded an additional security check of the plane.
The captain informed the passengers that they were free to leave the flight, without compensation from Aegean Airline.
The Israeli passengers went back to their seats and the plane took off.

Israeli settlers on Sunday made a number of breaches through the wall of a Palestinian home belonging to Noura Sub Laban in the Old City of Jerusalem, family members told Ma'an.
Noura's son, Ahmad Sub Laban, said the family was shocked to find at least six breaches through the wall, which borders a settler enclave that was established just two weeks ago.
Ahmad said the family called Israeli police, who arrived on the scene and asked that the settlers repair the damage without bringing any formal procedures against them, despite the settlers admitting to breaching the wall.
An Israeli police spokesperson had no immediate information on the reports.
Ahmad said: "I do not know the motivations behind this action, but this has confirmed that our house is in real danger as it is surrounded by Israeli enclaves on all sides, which means the house could be stormed at any moment."
The far-right settlement organization Ateret Cohanim has been trying to seize the home of Noura Sub Laban, which lies in the Old City's Oqbit al-Khalidiya area, since 2010, with the Sub Laban fighting to defend the home in Israel's courts.
There are more than 500,000 Israeli settlers living in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in contravention of international law.

A group of Israeli settlers stormed Monday morning al-Aqsa Mosque via the Israeli-controlled al-Magharibeh Gate under heavy Israeli police protection.
According to the PIC reporter, a number of Israeli settlers tried this morning to perform Talmudic rituals in total provocation to the Palestinian worshipers who started shouting Takbeer in protest against the Israeli presence in the Islamic holy shrine.
A number of Jerusalemite women continued their protests at the entrance to the compound in rejection to the Israeli ban on their entry.
For Muslims, al-Aqsa Mosque represents the third holiest site. Jews, for their part, refer to the area as the "Temple Mount," claiming it was the site of two Jewish temples in ancient times.
Israel occupied East Jerusalem during the 1967 Middle East War. It later annexed the city in 1980, claiming it as the capital of the self-proclaimed Jewish state – a move never recognized by the international community.

A group of Jewish settlers Monday morning stormed the plazas of the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem. Meanwhile, Israeli intelligence members disguised in plain clothes took photos of sit-inners.
Quds Press revealed that 14 settlers broke into the courtyards of the Aqsa Mosque from the Magharebah gate under tight security measures by Israeli police. They toured the plazas amid chanting of Palestinian worshipers and sit-inners who had been present at the holy site since the early morning despite the chilly cold.

An Israeli court, on Sunday morning, indicted two Jewish Israeli extremists suspected in the July arson attack on a Palestinian home which killed a baby and his parents — a case that has been unsolved for months and fueled the current rise of tensions.
The arson attack in the West Bank village of Douma killed 18-month-old Ali Dawabsha, while his mother, Riham, and father, Saad, later died of their wounds. Ali’s 4-year-old brother Ahmad survived with third-level injuries.
The firebombing, carried out at night while the family slept, sparked soul-searching among Israelis.
AP said, according to the PNN, that the long-awaited indictment follows months of investigations into a web of Jewish extremists operating in the West Bank. The indictment named Amiram Ben-Uliel, a 21-year-old West Bank settler, as the main suspect in the attack. A minor was charged as an accessory.
Yinon Reuveni, 20, and another minor were charged for other violence against Palestinians. All four were charged with belonging to a terrorist organization.
The indictment said Ben-Uliel admitted to spraying graffiti on the Dawabsha family home and, then, tossing a firebomb through a bedroom window before fleeing the scene. Ben-Uliel’s parents said they believe in his innocence and that he was tortured during interrogation.
But, critics have said that similar, albeit not deadly, attacks have festered for years with little action by the government. And for months, Palestinians watched angrily as the case remained unsolved, intensifying a feeling of skewed justice in the occupied territory, where suspected Palestinian militants are prosecuted under a separate system of military law that gives them few rights. The arson also touched on Palestinian fears of extremist Jewish settlers, who have attacked Palestinian property with impunity.
The Israeli security service (Shin Bet) said Sunday that the suspects admitted to carrying out the Douma attack, claiming it was in retaliation for the killing of an Israeli settler by Palestinians a month earlier.
It said all the suspects were part of a group of extremists that had carried out a series of attacks over the years in a religiously inspired campaign to undermine the government and sow fear among non-Jews.
Nasser Dawabsha, Saad’s brother, said the indictments were not enough.
“It’s clear the Israeli institutions are not serious,” he said. “It’s clear there was an organization behind this crime, even the media knows that. And the government was not serious in preventing it and is not serious in pursuing the killers.”
Jewish extremists have for years vandalized or set fire to Palestinian property, as well as mosques, churches, the offices of dovish Israeli groups and even Israeli military bases. The so-called “price tag” attacks seek to exact a cost for Israeli steps seen as favoring the Palestinians.
The extremists are part of a movement known as the “hilltop youth,” a leaderless group of young people who set up unauthorized outposts, usually clusters of trailers, on West Bank hilltops — land the Palestinians claim for their hoped-for state. A lawyer for one of the suspects says his client gave a forced confession after interrogators deprived him of sleep and tied him upside down by his feet.
The Douma attack was one of the main reasons for the current spark of violence in the occupied West Bank, showing Palestinian frustration by years of unchecked settler violence.
During the past three months, over 140 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, and 22 settlers on the Israeli side.

The Ariel settlement university has continued to pour its harmful chemical waste through its sewer system into Palestinian agricultural land in al-Matwi Valley in Salfit province, local sources complained on Sunday.
Residents from the area told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the Israeli university persists in disposing of hazardous chemical waste into the valley with no regard for the environment in the surrounding areas.
Palestinian researcher Khaled Ma'ali said that the Israeli human rights group B'Tselem had affirmed in previous reports that Israeli settlements and Ariel university in the West Bank violate international and local environmental protection laws.
Ma'ali invited international and local environmental institutions to visit Salfit province and witness its suffering from the pollution resulting from the flow of wastewater from several settlements, especially Ariel.

An Israeli fanatic rabbi called for burning Christian churches in Occupied Jerusalem, saying Christians are not welcome in the city, Israeli news outlets reported Sunday.
Israeli extremist rabbi Bentzi Gopstein told the Israeli TV Channel Two that Christians are not welcome in Occupied Jerusalem.
He also called for making obstacles against the expansion of Christianity in the occupied city of Jerusalem and for translating such words of hatred into action.
Gopstein is the head of the notorious extremist Israeli Jewish group of Lahava, which is responsible for insulting and harassing monks and nuns in the occupied Palestinian holy city.
Reports and documents continue to prove that the Israeli occupation government stands behind such racist groups, nurturing the very seeds of abhorrence and intolerance from which such parties have been drawing force.
Lehava Leader Again Calls for Torching Jerusalem Churches
The leader of the extremist anti-assimilation group, Lehava, recently renewed his calls to torch churches in occupied Jerusalem, Israeli media sources revealed.Lehava’s leader, Bentzi Gopstein, told the Israeli TV Channel II that Israeli Jews practically prevent Christians from entering Jerusalem, saying that Christian presence in Jerusalem was not welcome.
He also called for ‘making obstacles towards the expansion of Christianity and Islam in the Palestinian occupied city of Jerusalem,’ said the Days of Palestine on its website.
Gopstein has previously ‘called for a ban on Christmas celebrations in the country and the banishment of Christians, who he referred to as ‘blood-sucking vampires’, from the land,’ reported the International Business Times.

‘Several Israeli groups are active in the occupied holy city regarding Judaization activities, including confiscating Islamic and Christian properties,’ said Days of Palestine.
In 2014, a group of mostly Jewish youth attacked the Church of the Multiplication’s outdoor prayer area along the Sea of Galilee, pelting worshippers with stones, destroying a cross and throwing benches into the lake.
WAFA further reports that Israeli settlers, late Saturday night, torched eight Palestinian-owned cars in al-Thawri neighborhood in Jerusalem, according to media sources.
The Israeli radio said that settlers set a car on fire in al-Thawri neighborhood, before the fire extended to seven other cars parked nearby.
It said that Israeli police registered the attack against an “unknown” suspect, although surveillance cameras in the area prove that it was carried out by settlers.
According to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), there were 369 attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians from January 2015 to July 27, averaging more than 12 each week.
According to an October 2013 UN report: ‘[…] Since 2009 the number of settler-related incidents resulting in casualties has more than doubled, and the number of casualties caused by settlers has increased by 30 percent; while the number of settler-related incidents resulting in property damage has more than tripled, and the number of trees destroyed or damaged has increased almost four-fold.’
The report added: ‘From January to August 2013, compared to the same period in 2012, the number of casualties caused by Israeli security forces increased more than four-fold, as security forces intervene in settler attacks or resulting clashes between settlers and Palestinians to disperse Palestinians, rather than to protect them from attacks by settlers.’

A horde of Israeli extremist settlers stormed on early Sunday morning the plazas of Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, in Occupied Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli settler groups, escorted by army officers, broke into the al-Aqsa Mosque and vandalized its yards.
Israeli sacrilegious assaults on the al-Aqsa—the third holiest site in Islam—have fanned the flames of the simmering tension rocking the occupied Palestinian territories.
Such assaults, launched on a quasi-daily basis, aim at dividing the Mosque both spatially and temporally between Muslims and Jews, in a move that violates the typically Islamic idiosyncrasy of such a sacred place of worship.

A Palestinian driver was aggressively attacked on Thursday evening by a horde of Israeli fanatic settlers near Jenin province, in the northern Occupied West Bank.
Local sources said Israeli vandals violently assaulted the driver on an access road near Jenin’s southwestern town of Yabad.
Israeli extremist settlers have frequently attacked Palestinian civilians near illegal settlement outposts in an attempt to mar their lives and force them out of their native lands.
Settlers Assault Taxi Driver, Shut Down Main Road
Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement, Mabo Dothan, built on the land of Yabad, to the southwest of Jenin, Thursday, assaulted a Palestinian taxi driver and hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles.
Mohammad Mahmoud from the village of Tura said that a number of Israeli settlers attacked and beat him up after closing down the main military gate at the entrance to Yabad.
He said the Israeli army closed the gate and prevented cars from passing through, while settlers hurled stones at vehicles.
Mahmoud added that settler attacks where coupled with curses and racist phrases against Arabs.
The settlers closed down the main road leading to Yabad from the western side and hid between olive trees.
Violence by illegal settlers is commonplace, according to WAFA. They repeatedly attack Palestinian property and places of worship.
Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem said that “Israeli civilians have perpetrated various forms of violence against Palestinians in the Occupied Territories, damaging their lands, their persons and their property.
“In recent years, settlers have carried out violent acts under the slogan “price tag”. These are acts of violence aimed at the Palestinian population and Israeli security forces.”
B'Tselem has documented many such acts including the blocking of roads, throwing stones at cars and houses, making incursions into Palestinian villages and land, torching fields, uprooting trees, and other damage to property.
Settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
On July 31, a group of settlers killed 18-month-old Palestinian toddler Ali Dawabsha and seriously injured his entire family, during a predawn arson attack that targeted two homes in the village of Douma, to the south of Nablus.
The baby’s father, Sa’ad Dawabsha, his mother Riham and his 4-year-old brother Ahmad sustained third degree burns and were transferred to several hospitals to receive immediate medical care.
Reham and Sa’ad died within two months, while Ahmad remains in hospital to receive urgent treatment.
