A horde of Jewish settlers on Thursday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque's courtyards under tight police protection.
Pro-Aqsa activists reported that the settlers were given a guided tour of the Mosque before some Muslim worshipers protested their presence by chanting religious slogans and forced them to leave through al-Silsila Gate.
They added that over 400 foreign tourists also toured the Mosque's courtyards on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Israeli police imposed entry restrictions on the Palestinians at the Mosque's gates.

Two Israeli teenagers suspected of scrawling hate speech on a historic church in occupied East Jerusalem, earlier this week, have been arrested, according to Israeli police.
A spokesperson said that a 16-year-old Jewish suspect was arrested on Tuesday and another Jewish teen, aged 15, was arrested on Wednesday, following ongoing police investigations.
The two are suspected of writing “Nazi and anti-Christian slogans” on the walls of the Dormition Abbey, al-Samri said.
Wadie Abu Nassar, a senior advisor to the Catholic Church who is considered close to the Vatican, told Ma'an on Saturday that racist vandalism, written in Hebrew, read: "Kill the Christians, the enemy of Israel" and "The revenge is coming very soon," as well as "Send Christians to hell.”
Dormition Abbey -- dating back to the 5th century and thought to be the place where the Virgin Mary died -- has been site to hate crimes in the past.
Jewish extremist Yinon Reuveni was charged earlier this month, along with several minors, for torching the church in a previous attack.
The extremist was charged during the same investigation that charged two Israeli suspects for an arson attack that killed three members of the Palestinian Dawabsha family in the occupied West Bank, last summer.
The investigation gained international attention following the deadly attack, which raised criticism against the Israeli government for granting impunity to Israelis who carry out attacks on Palestinians and their property.
The UN reported in September that complaints lodged against such attacks have a 91 percent chance of being dismissed without effective action, whereas around 95 percent of complaints filed by Israelis against Palestinians proceed to court.

The Israeli Occupation Authority (IOA) is scheduled to declare in the coming weeks that 1,500 dunums (roughly 1.5 million square meters) of land near Jericho as "state land", according to the Israeli Army Radio on Wednesday morning.
The reports indicate that the land has been partially declared as state land while the rest will be used for settlement construction.
On the other hand, nearly 35 Israeli settlers from Elad settlement organization stormed under heavy police protection a Palestinian-owned building in Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained in a statement issued Wednesday morning that nearly 35 settlers from Elad settlement organization supported by Israeli Special Forces raided the neighborhood of Baydoun in Silwan and entered the residential building through its main gate easily without any resistance or objection by its owners who were not even at home.
The center pointed out that the settlers had the keys of the building.
The Jerusalemite center underlined that the building consists of two floors built before the Israeli occupation of Jerusalem, pointing out that the seized building is surrounded by a large land adjacent to the settlement outpost seized in 2014.
The confiscated building is owned by Ahmad Abu Ter who sued his tenant few years ago for back rent. Few weeks ago, he effectively evacuated the tenant.
Shortly after evacuating the tenant, Abu Ter started building the second floor without any objection from the Israeli municipality crews who used to stop Jerusalemite buildings construction under the pretext of being built without permit.
This was not the case with Abu Ter who is clearly involved in the building confiscation as it was handed over “peacefully” to settlers after the completion of the construction process, the center stated.
Silwan, in particular, has seen in recent years an influx of Israeli settlers at the cost of home demolitions and the eviction of Palestinian families.
Some 579 homes have been destroyed in the city over the last twelve years, leaving 2,133 Palestinians homeless in total, according to the Israeli rights group B'Tselem.

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to demolish the family home of the Palestinian minor Murad Id’is and to cancel Palestinians’ work permits as part of a preplanned policy of collective punishment.
Netanyahu voiced his support for the punitive measures pursued by the occupation army against the Palestinians of al-Khalil city.
The PM further accused the international community of “hypocrisy.”
Israel’s Construction Minister Yoav Gallant also called for deporting Murad Id’is’s family to Syria to deter further anti-occupation attacks.
The Israeli internal security agency, the Shabak, claimed responsibility for the abduction of 15-year-old Murad from his family home in al-Khalil on allegations that he carried out an anti-occupation stabbing attack in the illegal Israeli settlement of Otniel.
A video propagated by the occupation army shows Israeli soldiers as storming Murad’s family home and kidnapping the youth from his bedroom.
Along the same line, the Ynetnews newspaper said a state of frenzy has overwhelmed Israeli apparatuses due to the surge in anti-occupation stabbings.
The occupation army leadership opted for a series of measures to quell new anti-occupation operations.
Such measures include banning Palestinian workers’ access into West Bank settlements to reach their workplaces.
Israeli settlers, meanwhile, launched calls to carry arms and form armed groups to prevent anti-occupation attacks near illegal settlements.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army threatened to penalize the Palestinians of Jenin’s southern town of Yabad and to rescind their work permits as part of a preplanned policy of collective punishment carried out by the occupation authorities in response to anti-occupation activism.
The occupation forces threatened to step up their suppressive measures in case further protests are detected in the area.
Activist Muhammad Amarna said Yabad has been increasingly subjected to simmering violence and terrorism by the occupation soldiers and fanatic settlers.

Settlers, on Sunday at dawn, vandalized a monastery in Jerusalem, with hate slogans calling for the slaughter of Christians.
“We strongly condemn the vandalization of the Dormition Abbey in Jerusalem. Such an act is the direct result of a hate culture generated by racism and the occupation with impunity, exceptionalism and entitlement. The international community is responsible to protect both Palestinian holy sites and people from such Israeli sectarian attacks and to put an end to such lawlessness in Israel.” ~Hanan Ashrawi
PLO Executive Committee Member Dr. Hanan Ashrawi made these comments during a meeting with a visiting delegation representing the interfaith Tree of Life Educational Fund, at the PLO Headquarters in Ramallah.
Dr. Ashrawi provided an assessment of the deteriorating conditions and escalating occupation violence on the ground, and she discussed Israel’s continued breach of international law and conventions, including its illegal settlement activities, settler violence and terrorism, extra-judicial killings, the withholding of Palestinian remains, and home demolitions, among other violations.
In that context, she stressed, according to the PNN: “The chances for peace are being willfully destroyed and systematically dismantled by Israeli unilateral measures to superimpose ‘Greater Israel’ on historic Palestine. Israel is not in the least bit committed to the two-state solution, international law or the basic principles of human rights.”
Dr. Ashrawi brought attention to America’s unquestioning support of Israel and its preferential treatment that provided Israel with a legal, security and economic cover that enabled it to persist with its violations.
Dr. Ashrawi added, “Public opinion in the U.S., particularly in civil society and among academic organizations, is a promising development that must be supported and pursued in order to have an impact on American official policy.”
Current and future Palestinian moves in the international arena, including at the International Criminal Court, were also addressed.

Hordes of Israeli settlers, escorted by Israeli police officers and rapid intervention troops, stormed on early Sunday morning the plazas of Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque via the Maghareba Gate.
The Israeli vandals performed a series of provocative rituals at the Mosque.
The peaceful Muslim worshipers kept, meanwhile, chanting “Allah is the Greatest” in protest at the sacrilegious break-in.
Several Muslim women who have been denied access into the holy site have been maintaining vigil outside the Mosque.
In a related context, Israelis from the terrorist Price Tag gang spray-painted racist graffiti on the walls of a Christian church in Jerusalem’s Old City.
The graffiti read: “Death for Christians, the enemies of Israel.”
A red David Star was also painted by the racist Israelis on the church walls.
Over recent years, Israel’s price tag gang has been behind much of the tension, aggression, and terrorism perpetrated against the peaceful Muslim and Christian worshipers across the occupied Palestinian territories.

Khaled Maali, researcher concerned with settlement, said that Israel is taking advantage of 30 nature reserves in order to steal 10 per cent of West Bank lands through expelling Palestinian farmers and confiscating their lands.
Maali said that establishing Israeli natural reserves in the West Bank runs contrary to the international humanitarian law and The Hague Convention which prevents violating the rights of and tightening the noose on civilians as well as confiscating their lands and displacing them in favor of Israeli settlers who take over their confiscated lands.
The researcher Maali explained that Israeli authorities in 2015 declared two areas, in Salfit governorate, as natural reserves which have already become threatened of being confiscated by Jewish settlers.
