Israeli settlers on Wednesday uprooted about 100 olive trees in Salfit’s village of Yasuf, in the occupied West Bank.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that Israeli settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Rehelim uprooted about 100 olive trees belonging to Mohammad Saleh Jazi, a Palestinian citizen from Yasuf.
Local activists continue to sound alarm bells over the increasing attacks by extremist Israeli settlers against Palestinians and their properties in the occupied West Bank.

Israeli police on Tuesday offered protection to 57 Jewish settlers during their incursion into al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli-controlled al-Magharebah gate.

Eyewitnesses told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that dozens of settlers rallied near as-Sawiya high school and brutalized its students and teachers as they were leaving for their homes in the afternoon.
According to them, several Israeli soldiers rushed to the area to protect the settlers before skirmishes started between them and local residents.

The soldiers also tried to forcibly enter the school, but teachers and students confronted them and foiled their attempt.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a Likud ministerial meeting that a bill to okay the Havat Gilad outpost as a settlement will be approved in next week's Cabinet meeting.
Netanyahu said during Sunday’s meeting of the Likud ministers that the issue of Havat Gilad will be raised at the cabinet meeting next week and be approved.
Netanyahu added that the approbation will be issued in partnership with Israel’s War Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
Netanyahu claimed the delay in raising the status issue was due to tactical reasons, and that the issue will be raised next week, in coordination with Lieberman.
Havat Gilad is an Israeli outpost built on Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank. It has been considered an unauthorized outpost by the Israeli government and is on a list of outposts the international community expects to be dismantled.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers abducted Ahmad Mohammad al-‘Allami, 24, from Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

According to the Awqaf source, the settlers entered the Mosque via al-Maghareba Gate and conducted a round of sacrilegious tours before leaving through al-Silsila Gate.

The mayor of Huwara town, Naser Huwari, told the PIC reporter that the Israeli attack took place at the maid road of the town and that the Israeli woman tried to escape the site but the inhabitants banned her from doing so.
Israeli Occupation Forces rushed to the scene and released the female settler, claiming that the incident happened accidentally.

Some sort of tension was simmering at the Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday morning after hordes of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces defiled the Islamic holy site and behaved provocatively as they were touring its courtyards.
According to a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC), scores of settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in successive groups, chanted racist and hostile slurs against Muslims and Arabs, and performed rituals in front of the Mosque’s Rahma Gate.
Such provocative practices prompted the Aqsa guards to try to fend off the settlers, but the Israeli police escort intervened and arrested one of the guards.
Meanwhile, the Israeli police still bar Palestinian builders and workmen from carrying out renovation work at the Aqsa Mosque.
A few days ago, the police imposed a ban on conducting renovations on the Aqsa Mosque compound.

Hundreds of Israeli settlers at dawn Sunday stormed Awarta town, east of Nablus city, to perform Talmudic rituals in one of its historical sites.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that 13 buses carrying hundreds of settlers entered the town under the escort of the Israeli occupation forces who later closed Awarta's entrances and prevented both entry and exit.
Dozens of Israeli soldiers were deployed in al-Hara al-Tahta neighborhood while some of them established guard posts on the rooftops of Palestinian houses in the presence of Israeli drones in the sky.
The witnesses said that the settlers carried out barbaric acts against the Palestinian citizens' houses while heading to the shrine singing and shouting.
The Israeli army in the morning announced that its forces have secured the break-in of nearly 500 settlers into Awarta shrines.
