Israeli settlers stormed Wednesday the plazas of the Aqsa Mosque from the Magharibah gate under heavy police protection.
Eyewitnesses said 75 settlers provocatively broke into and toured the courtyards of the Mosque in the early morning hours under intense protection of Israeli policemen.
Many Muslim worshipers including students of Islamic Law at Jerusalemite schools were present in the holy site. They confronted the settlers, by chants of Allahu Akbar.
The Israeli policemen on the gates of the Aqsa Mosque continued to confiscate the identity cards of the worshipers especially Jerusalemite women until they came out of the Mosque.
The settlers’ repeated incursions have recently escalated due to the coming Jewish Holiday Bash in which calls for massive incursions into the Aqsa Mosque are launched for performing Talmudic rituals.

A flock of Israeli extremist settlers on Tuesday stormed a Palestinian residential neighborhood in the West Bank city of al-Khalil.
Local sources said Israeli settler vandals residing in the illegal Ramat Yishai settlement outpost and escorted by Israeli soldiers broke into Jabal al-Rahma neighborhood and other adjacent areas, yelling anti-Arab slogans calling to forcibly expel Palestinians from their native lands.
Tuesday’s assault marks one of several incidents of reported break-ins carried out by Israeli settler bunches in al-Khalil, where they have managed to grab hold of a number of Palestinian family homes.
A Palestinian youngster, reportedly in his twenties, was meanwhile kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at a flying military checkpoint pitched at the crossroads of the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, in northern al-Khalil.
The IOF troops further blocked the access road between al-Khalil and Bethlehem cities via a makeshift roadblock.
By-standers at the scene said Palestinian vehicles had randomly been stopped and searched by the IOF soldiers in the process, leading to traffic jam.
The traffic congestion spread out to the Gush Etzion settlement amid a heightened Israeli security alert.
In another development, the IOF threatened to demolish a water well used by Palestinians east of al-Khalil’s town of Yatta under the pretext that the land lot makes part of Israeli-run areas as already delineated in the Oslo Accord, activist Rateb al-Jabour told the PIC.
The IOF has increasingly been threatening to knock down Palestinian family homes, civilian structures, and water wells in the area as part of a larger ethnic cleansing scheme.

The temple coalition said it had established a database about everything that happens to the Jewish visitor from the moment of entry to the Aqsa Mosque.
The coalition also released a short documentary film showing the religious and temple-related events and activities that had been organized during the Hebrew year.
In a related context, Palestinian lawmaker Ahmed Abu Halabiya has warned that Jerusalem is exposed at the present time to the most dangerous Judaization activities in its history.
"The Judaization and settlement activities in Jerusalem are very dangerous, where dozens of thousands of dunums from the lands of our Jerusalemite people are seized and dozens of their homes are demolished in al-Bustan neighborhood and other areas of Jerusalem," Abu Halabiya stated in a press release on Tuesday.
He also pointed to Israel's withdrawal of ID cards from Jerusalemite citizens and its protection of Jewish desecration break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis.
The lawmaker urged the Palestinian official institutions to support the steadfastness of the Jerusalemite people in order for them to be able to confront Israel's Judaization schemes in their city.

Tension ran high in the Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday morning after an Israeli policeman verbally abused Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The PIC reporter quoted QPress, a media institution concerned with monitoring Israeli violations at the Aqsa Mosque, as saying an Israeli policeman Tuesday morning offended the person of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) after assaulting a woman worshiper at the holy site.
The verbal abuse followed altercations between worshipers and Israeli policemen after Palestinian women chanted Allahu Akbar on entry of Jewish settlers into the holy site.
QPress said 20 settlers earlier on Tuesday morning broke into the Mosque from al-Magharebah Gate amid tight security measures by Israeli policemen and Special Forces. The settlers toured the plazas of the mosque provoking the anger of Palestinian worshipers.

Fanatic rabbi Yehuda Glick incited the Israeli police to use force to deal with the Muslims, especially the women, at the Aqsa Mosque at the pretext of protecting Jewish visitors.
In Facebook remarks on Monday, Glick strongly denounced the police in Jerusalem for what he called their silence on the "violence" against the Jews in the city in general and on the "temple mount" in particular.
"Your tolerance for violence is a finger on the trigger of the next killer," he said, in reference to the failed attempt to assassinate him lately in Jerusalem.
"I say here clearly and unequivocally, more blood will flow on the temple mount and then you, the Israeli police, cannot shirk your responsibilities and say 'this is not done by our hands' because your hands are already stained with blood," he added.
He also urged the Knesset to put an end to the alleged violence against the Jews in Jerusalem.
"The task of the upcoming Knesset is also to cease this violence that targets the Jewish citizens of Israel in the name of radical Islam."
Glick made his remarks in reaction to the recent incident of pouring water on a fellow rabbi by a Palestinian woman at the Aqsa Mosque.

Maher Hamdi al-Hashlamoun 30
Family of an Israeli settler woman, who was killed on November 10 2014, demanded an Israeli court to sentence detainee Maher Hamdi al-Hashlamoun, 30 years of age, to death for killing her, the Ahrar Center for Detainees’ Studies and Human Rights, has reported.
The demand came during a hearing, Monday; he was taken prisoner after stabbing Israeli settlers, near the Gush Etzion Bloc, near Bethlehem, killing a woman and wounding two other settlers. He also was shot and seriously injured following the attack.
Ahrar said the family of the slain Israeli woman demanded the court to sentence the detainee to death, and to order him to pay 6 Million New Israeli Shekels in compensation.
His lawyer Khaled al-A’raj said the court delayed the hearing to March 26.
During his trial, al-Hashlamoun said “the Palestinians will continue to fight, and defend, Jerusalem and Palestine,” and added that “Israel’s escalating violations and attacks, mainly targeting the Al-Aqsa Mosque, require the Palestinians to defend it.”
Ahrar said there have been many calls in Israel to execute Palestinian detainees, including calls coming from senior Israeli officials.
After the attack, al-Hashlamoun was shot by rounds of live ammunition to different parts of his body, mainly in the chest, abdomen and his left arm.
He is currently suffering from various complications, especially in his lungs and liver; one of the bullets was not removed due to its proximity to his heart.
Al-Hashlamoun is a married father of two children; he was born in Jordan on March 10, 1984, and returned to Palestine with his family in 1988.
He previously spent five years in Israeli prisons for his activities with the Islamic Jihad Movement, and his student activities in the Hebron University.

Eyewitnesses said about 30 settlers provocatively broke into the courtyards of the Aqsa Mosque amid tight security measures by Israeli policemen and Special Forces.
The eyewitnesses added that worshipers confronted the incursion by chants of Allahu Akbar forcing the settlers to get out of the Islamic holy site.
An Israeli policeman assaulted one of the worshipers at al-Silsilah Gate by pushing him to the ground because he refused to submit his identity card, they added.
The eyewitnesses also revealed that Israeli policemen cursed a Jerusalemite woman. The Mosque manager along with guards intervened to calm down the situation.

Amidst repeated invasions, assaults and attacks by extremist Israeli colonialist settlers attempting to displace a Jerusalemite Palestinian family, and occupy their building, Palestinian residents and Israeli peace activists, started guarding a Palestinian building, inhabited by the family for more than 60 years.
The activists gathered in ‘Aqbat al-Khadiyya, just a few meters away from the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, drumming and chanting “No to the occupation,” expressing solidarity and support with the Palestinian family that inhabited the building for more than 60 years, Christine Rimawi of Palestine TV said in her report.
The activists are constantly in and around the property hoping to foil all Israeli attempts to remove the indigenous Palestinian family, and replace them with colonialist settlers.
“We are in danger every single moment, whenever the someone knocks on the door; we fear it is the army or the settlers,” Noura Sob-Laban told the Palestine TV, “We cannot sleep, cannot rest; I hope the solidarity activists will remain here, with us, to provide us strength to foil those attacks.”
The property in question is owned by a Palestinian family, that rented it to a Jewish family, prior to the establishment of Israel in the Palestine in 1948, and in 1953 the Jewish family rented the home to Sob-Laban family.
Under Israeli renters' protection law, the Sob-Laban family that rented the property 62 years ago, is supposed to be protected and secured as they have been paying, not only their monthly rent, but also property taxes to the Jerusalem City Council.
The family is currently awaiting a verdict on an appeal it filed to an Israeli court, that would render its ruling by the end of this coming May.
The appeal was submitted after the Jerusalem District Court ruled in favor of settlement groups, that claim “the family abandoned the property for one year,” justifying the allege by stating this “voids the rent agreement.”
Palestinian Researcher, specialized in settlement affairs, Ahmad Sob-Laban, said the Israeli law allows the Israelis to demand removing the Palestinians from their rented homes, but at the same time deny all Palestinians, Muslims and Christians, from demanding to return to their homes and property, they owned before the Nakba of 1948, whether in Jerusalem, including West Jerusalem, or in other parts of Historic Palestine.
The family is now fighting for their existence in their home, awaiting the court ruling, nevertheless, subject to daily attacks by Israeli fanatics who want to remove them, and render their homeless.
Their current steadfastness is supported by Israeli peace activists who are also subject to constant harassment by fanatic Israeli groups, and by the Police.

Jewish extremist groups renewed on Sunday storming of the plazas of the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem under tight security measures by Israeli police and Special Forces.
The PIC reporter quoted the Islamic Awqaf Department in Jerusalem as saying a group of settlers provocatively tried to reach the Dome of the Rock, but the guards of the Aqsa Mosque stopped them.
The Department noted that the Palestinian worshipers were deployed in the plazas of the Aqsa Mosque in order to confront, by chants of Allahu Akabar, the extremist settlers who conduct storming operations into the courtyards of the Mosque on semi-daily basis.
Jerusalemite media sources disclosed that the extremist groups of settlers included 126 Jews who broke into the plazas of the holy site from al-Magharebah Gate.
Four other groups of Jewish settlers stormed the holy site from another point then got out and gathered at the outside gates and started dancing, singing and screaming in clear provocation to the Muslim worshipers.

The global movement for the defense of children in Palestine said that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) are still using excessive force against the Palestinian children including firing live bullets at them.
The movement added in a press statement on Saturday that since the beginning of the current year it has documented 30 cases in which Palestinian children were shot with live bullets fired by Israeli soldiers and settlers, and pointed out that 29 of them were shot while they were participating in peaceful marches in the West Bank and the last one was shot by settlers in Silwan town in Occupied Jerusalem.
The movement attributed using this excessive force by the IOF to the Israeli soldiers' conviction and prior knowledge that they will get away with impunity in spite of all their heinous crimes, according to the statement.
It also pointed out that according to the Israeli army special regulations live ammunition is not be used except in cases that constitute mortal threats to the Israeli soldiers, and pointed to the lack of evidences which prove that the child victims were posing such threats when targeted.
The statement mentioned the case of the minor Mu'ath al-Ramahi, 15, who was shot in the chest with a live bullet during violent clashes with the IOF at the entrance of Jalazone camp on March 6 causing him severe wounds in his right lung and damages in his ribs and chest muscles.
The same clashes led to the injury of the minor Muhammad Hmidat, 16, who was shot in the face.
The statement cited Hmidat as saying: "I felt like if someone was hitting me from the back then I felt dizziness and a dull pain at that time then I noticed that my face was bleeding profusely".
The statement also mentioned that the minor Malik Ghawanmeh, 16, was shot with a live bullet in his right leg leading to shattering the bones. The minor Muhammad Birnat, 16, was also hit with a live bullet while he was participating in the weekly peaceful march in Bil'in village near Ramallah.
"The Israeli soldiers started to fire tear gas and stun grenades and live bullets at us," Birnat said, adding:" I was looking for a place to hide when I felt that something hit my right leg strongly."
The clinical tests and the X-rays showed that the bullet settled in his right knee, according to the medical report of the child.

Masked Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement of Ma'on, south of Hebron, threw stones at Palestinian children and injured a six-year-old child, Saturday.
The child sustained a head injury and was taken to the nearest hospital for medical treatment, according to witnesses.
An Israeli army spokeswoman did not have any immediate information, but told Ma'an News Agency that she was looking into the incident.
The Hebron Defense Committee has reported that two masks settlers threw stones, on Saturday afternoon, at two children from Khirbet a-Tawil, southeast of Yatta town.
The Committee added that a child, identified as Sojoud 'Awad, 6 years of age, was struck in the head, and one of her legs.
Settlers routinely carry out acts of violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank but are rarely held accountable, as Israeli authorities are often complicit in the attacks on Palestinians, their property and their lands, according to Israeli human rights organization B'tselem.
There were at least 329 incidents of settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in 2014, as reported by the UNOCH.
