Israeli settlers on Tuesday attempted to kidnap two Palestinian children after assaulting their family in Turmus Ayya village north of Ramallah City.
Tareq al-Refa'i said that when he accompanied his father in low, along with his two sons Adam and Noah, to visit a friend's grave in the village's cemetery, a group of Israeli settlers on motorbikes attacked them.
"They beat us with rifle butts. We resisted. My father in law pushed one of them and they threatened to shoot at us. They later smashed our car's windows and attempted to kidnap my sons, but we managed to escape. They chased us for a while before they gave up and withdrew," al-Refa'i said.

Israeli settlers today uprooted vine trees in the village of al-Khader, to the south of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to a local source.
Hasan Breijieh, from the Committee of Wall and Settlement Resistance, told WAFA that the settlers uprooted a number of trees in village land owned by local residents located near illegal Israeli settlements.
He warned that the settlers could be making use of the current emergency state declared in the West Bank in order to seize more Palestinian land.
Over the past two weeks, Israeli settlers uprooted about 800 trees al-Khader and 400 others in nearby Wadi Fukin village.

The sources added that the Israeli forces stormed the village of Awarta in the south, and abducted the released captive and researcher, Abd al-Salam Awwad. They also raided the village of Osreen and abducted the freed prisoner Samer Hamdi Muflih, after raiding and searching their homes .

The Israeli occupation police on Monday allowed dozens of Jewish settlers to desecrate the Aqsa Mosque.
According to local sources, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards amid restrictions on the presence of Muslim worshipers at the Islamic holy site.
Some settlers were also seen performing Talmudic prayers during their presence at the Mosque.

Palestinian young men engaged in clashes last night on Mount Sobeih in Beita town, south of Nablus with the Israeli occupation forces and Jewish settlers.
Eyewitnesses said that a horde of settlers escorted by soldiers stormed Mount Sobeih in Beita town and tried to hoist an Israeli flag onto a pole there.
They added that local youths confronted and clashed with the settlers and soldiers until the latter left the area.
