Israeli settler gangs and occupation army on Tuesday set up mobile homes on Palestinian Bedouin lands in al-Hima Hamlet, in the northern Jordan Valley.
A PIC news correspondent quoted the Palestinian citizen Muhammad Abu Zahw as stating that Israeli settlers residing in the illegal Sal’it settlement, built on Palestinian lands in al-Malih Valley, stormed Hima Hamlet under a tight military shield and set up makeshift homes.
According to the locals, the move makes part of a preplanned Israeli scheme of ethnic cleansing.
“In the past Israel forced us out of our homes under the pretext of military maneuvering. Today, they are planning to expand illegal settlement at the expense of our own lands,” added Abu Zahw.
Abu Zahw also said that the Israeli occupation army threatened to forcibly deport the Palestinians from the area on claims that it belongs to the Israeli-occupied Area C.
Local activist Aref Daraghma said the illegal Sal’it settlement was built at the expense of Palestinian land tracts in Hima Hamlet and that new structures are being set up by the Israeli occupation in the territory as part of its intent to dislocate the Palestinian natives and relocate settler gangs.

A group of Israeli settlers attacked Monday morning a Palestinian family while making their way to their agricultural land in Qaryout village, south of Nablus.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that Israeli settlers carrying hatchets and sharp tools attacked Saher Youssef family near their agricultural land while picking their olive harvest.

A so-called “Jacob’s Dream” bid was published by Israel’s National Tourism Office on Friday to expand the illegal Beit El settlement outpost.
The government-backed bid includes the construction of a park for Israeli settlers on occupied Palestinian lands in northeastern Ramallah province.

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has finished all preparations, in cooperation with unnamed Jewish groups, to build a big synagogue called the Jewel of Israel in the heart of the Old City of Jerusalem.
It will be located about 200 meters away from the western side of the Aqsa Mosque.
According to the Palestinian news website Qpress, the new synagogue project will cost around 48 million shekels, mostly from the Israeli government and the rest from wealthy Jews.
The synagogue will be composed of six floors, two underground, and will be built on the ruins of an Islamic historical site dating back to the Ottoman and Mamluk eras.
The project is part of a large-scale Israeli plan aimed at planting religious Jewish structures in the heart of Old Jerusalem to change the Islamic and Arab identity of the holy city. It will be the second massive Jewish edifice in the Old City after the Hurva synagogue, which was built in 2010.
