A Palestinian man was shot dead after shooting and injuring three Israeli soldiers at an Israeli military checkpoint located around the illegal Israeli settlement of Beit El, in the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah.
Eyewitnesses said the Palestinian driving a car that approached the military roadblock, a VIP crossing used by Palestinian officials entering Israel, before a soldier approached the vehicle. When the soldier placed his hand on the side window, the Palestinian shot him in the head with a handgun, before shooting two other soldiers.
One of the wounded soldiers, who suffered a mild injury, got up and fired several live rounds on the Palestinian, killing him instantly.
Israeli sources said that one of the soldiers, 21 years old, was moved to the Hadassah Medical Center, in Jerusalem, after suffering a serious gunshot injury to his neck.
Israeli Ynet News said that another soldier, 31, suffered a moderate-to-serious injury after being shot in his stomach and extremities.
A spokesperson with Israel's emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, said medics were treating three people who were shot and injured, two of whom are in severe condition, while one was mildly injured.
The assailant was later identified as Amjad Sokkari Abu Omar, aged 34, from Jamma'in village, near Nablus. Sokkari, a PA security staff seargant, was father to 4 children, the youngest of whom is 6 months old. Israel has reportedly transferred his body to the Palestinian Authority.
Less than two hours before his death, Amjad wrote on his Facebook page:
"On this earth, there is something worth living for, but unfortunately I cannot see anything worth living for, the Israeli occupation is still silencing, and killing us. God have mercy on the souls of the martyrs, heal the wounded and release the detainees ~ you are first and we are next...”
A few hours earlier, he posted "every day, we hear the news about someone killed (by the soldiers), forgive me, my turn could be next."

A Jewish settler on Saturday evening was injured in a stabbing attack by a Palestinian in Occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the stabbing was carried out at Damascus gate in the city. Israeli media websites quoted the spokeswoman of the Israeli police, Luba al-Sumri, as saying that Israeli policemen who rushed to the scene were investigating the incident.
Media sources revealed that Israeli forces arrested a suspected Palestinian young man at al-Sahera gate in Occupied Jerusalem. The ID of the Palestinian captive has not been identified yet. Eyewitnesses said that Israeli policemen, stationed at Damascus gate, assaulted Palestinian pressmen at the stabbing location.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops closed the gate’s area, cordoned it off, and summoned military reinforcement for conducting combing operations searching for the stabber.

An Israeli man was injured Wednesday night, in a stabbing attack which took place at a gas station outside an illegal Israeli settlement, to the north of Jerusalem, Israeli police said.
An Israeli police spokesperson said, according to Ma'an, that a middle-aged Israeli man was critically injured in the upper body after he was stabbed at the entrance of a gas station complex, near the illegal Givat Zeev settlement, and taken to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center for medical treatment.
An 18-year-old from the occupied West Bank village of Bir Nibala, suspected of carrying out the stabbing, fled the scene and was chased down and held by witnesses before being detained by Israeli police, following the incident.
The spokesperson additionally stated that the teen was also taken to the hospital for medical treatment, without specifying the nature of his wounds.
The incident was one of a number of attacks to be carried out over the past week, in or close to Israeli settlements, in the occupied West Bank.

Two Israeli soldiers were seriously wounded in a suspected car-ramming attack near Beit Horon settlement to the west of Ramallah on Tuesday evening.
The Israeli TV channel 7 reported that a driver rammed his car into a group of soldiers at Beit Horon junction and ran over two of them.
Hebrew media outlets said that the driver managed to speed away and was being chased by army troops.
They later reported that the youth was arrested, adding, however, that the incident might just be a traffic accident and not a deliberate car-ramming attack.

An Israeli force unit was exposed to shooting at noon on Saturday near Nahal Oz site to the east of Gaza. No casualties were reported.
Israeli Maariv newspaper revealed that Israeli army responded to a shooting at an Israeli patrol near the security fence of Gaza’s eastern border.

A Palestinian anti-occupation protester fired gunshots at dawn Wednesday shortly after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rolled into the northern West Bank province of Tulkarem and cracked down on Palestinian civilians.
An Israeli army patrol stormed Thaneba suburb, in Tulkarem city, before a Palestinian anti-occupation activist responded by firing gunshots.
The IOF also broke into several Palestinian homes in the area and destroyed their properties before they subjected a number of civilians to exhaustive questioning.
A curfew was imposed by the occupation troops shortly afterwards, blocking Palestinians’ free movement out of and into the area.
An Israeli occupation soldier was reportedly injured in the assault. He was later transferred to the Beilinson Hospital in 1948 Occupied Palestine.
The Israeli occupation patrols raked through the area after imposing a curfew in search for the alleged shooter. The IOF soldiers withdrew from the suburb in the morning after rounding up 7 inhabitants and threatening of more punitive measures if the shooter was not identified.

A Palestinian youth was shot and seriously injured by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday in the West Bank district of Bethlehem, following an anti-occupation stabbing attack which left one Israeli soldier injured.
The Israeli army spokesperson claimed that a Palestinian youth broke into the illegal Israeli settlement of Tekoa and stabbed a 30-year-old female soldier, before being shot and injured by the soldiers on the scene.
Both of the injured have been evacuated to the hospital, the same source added.
Initial reports indicated that the youth was shot and killed, but Israeli occupation army and medics have reported that he was shot and seriously wounded.
The Palestinian casualty has yet to be identified.
On Sunday, a Palestinian was shot and killed by the occupation soldiers following an alleged attempted stabbing attack in the northern occupied West Bank district of Nablus, an Israeli army spokesperson said at the time.

An unidentified Palestinian man was shot and critically wounded on Monday morning after allegedly stabbing and wounded a pregnant Israeli woman in Tekoa settlement, near Bethlehem, according to Israeli sources.
The incident took place at a clothing warehouse in the industrial area of the Tekoa settlement, built on illegally seized Palestinian land.
According to the Israeli military, the area around the settlement was placed on lockdown. Local sources report that Palestinians in nearby villagers were told to remain in their homes as the military combed the area for any 'accomplices' to the stabbing.
In addition, Israeli authorities have temporarily revoked the work permits of all Palestinians who had been issued permits to work inside the illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank, and removed them from their workplaces.
The Israeli woman who was wounded was taken to the Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. There was no information released by the military as to where the wounded Palestinian was taken.

On the other hand, most of the Palestinian resistance operations against Israeli troops during Jerusalem Intifada have been carried out by residents of al-Khalil city.

Unknown gunmen opened fire Tuesday morning at a number of Israeli soldiers stationed at Container military checkpoint north of Bethlehem.
Gunmen in a speeding car opened fire on the soldiers at the Container checkpoint, Israeli media sources claimed without reporting any casualties.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that a vehicle with Palestinian license plates approached the checkpoint and fired more than 15 bullets at the soldiers before fleeing the scene.
Following the shooting attack, Israeli forces closed the checkpoint in both directions and stormed the nearby town of al-Obaidiya before erecting a make-shift checkpoint in the area as an Israeli drone kept flying over the town.
Several Palestinian vehicles were stopped and searched at the make-shift checkpoint.

A handmade explosive device was found and dismantled by Israeli security forces near the Issawiya neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem on Friday, Israeli police said.
Israeli police spokeswoman Luba al-Samri said in a statement that Israeli police forces rushed to the scene after they were notified of a suspicious object in a Dor Alon gas station near Issawiya.
"The explosives' expert found out that it was a hand-made (locally-made) explosive device," Samri added. "The device was dismantled as the police continue to search the area."
Samri added that no one was harmed during the dismantling of the device.

According to Haaretz newspaper on Monday, police and Shin Bet investigators believe that 29-year-old Nashaat Melhem was not planning to return alive from the attack and that he may have had an accomplice who knew of his plans in advance.
Due to concerns of another attack, the police intensified their presence on Tel Aviv streets and asked the public to stay alert, the newspaper said.

Israeli media sources revealed that a settler was severely wounded after being stabbed by a Palestinian youth in the settlement of Armon Hanatziv established over Palestinians’ lands of Mount Scopus in Occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian young man escaped towards Sour Baher village whereas Israeli forces closed off the village in an attempt to capture him, the sources pointed out.
In al-Khalil, a female soldier was also injured by a Palestinian sniper’s gunfire near al-Haram al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the city. The stabber managed to flee away.
Israeli media sources revealed that a 20-year-old female trooper was moderately wounded in the shooting near the Ibrahimi Mosque. Meanwhile, big numbers of Israeli forces started conducting a large-scale combing operation in the area searching for the shooter, the sources added.

Israeli media sources revealed that a 20-year-old female trooper was moderately wounded in the shooting near the Ibrahimi Mosque. Meanwhile, big numbers of Israeli forces started conducting a large-scale combing operation in the area searching for the shooter, the sources added.
The Israeli soldier was taken to hospital after being shot in the upper part of her body, the Israeli sources said.
