A Palestinian young man was injured on Monday evening when the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at peaceful protesters on Gaza border.
The PIC reporter said that a Palestinian youth was transferred to the hospital for treatment after he was injured by a rubber-coated metal bullet to the head east of Gaza city.
The Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, since 30 March, have been protesting on a daily basis along the border with the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories, demanding their right of return and calling for an end to the 13-year-long blockade on the enclave.
According to Gaza Ministry of Health, 256 Palestinian protesters have been killed by the Israeli army and over 25,000 injured.

The IOF further closed the road between Kobar and Burham villages and searched Palestinian houses in the area.
Local sources said that violent confrontations broke out between the IOF soldiers and Palestinian citizens during the raid.
The PIC reporter said that the IOF broke into the house of the Palestinian martyr Saleh al-Barghouti in Beit Rima town, west of Ramallah, and interrogated his wife.
In the nearby al-Ersal area in Ramallah, the IOF raided the house of the Palestinian journalist Alaa al-Rimawi and seized mobiles, laptops, and 7,000 NIS before they left.
At least six Palestinians were arrested in Jerusalem and two others in Ya'bad town in Jenin, local residents told the PIC reporter.
Meanwhile in Nablus, violent clashes broke out at daybreak during which the IOF heavily fired live ammunition and teargas canisters at the Palestinians.
The IOF raided many Palestinian houses and wreaked havoc on them, and abruptly closed Huwara checkpoint and blocked movement in both directions.

Dozens of Palestinian school students suffered from their exposure to tear gas during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Sebastia town, north of Nablus in the West Bank.
Sebastia mayor Mohamed Azem said that Israeli soldiers stormed the vicinity of al-Madares (schools) street while firing shots and tear gas grenades, which provoked clashes with local youths.
Azem affirmed that several school students suffered from inhaling tear gas, adding that such provocative acts happen repeatedly by the IOF.

The Israeli occupation army at dawn Saturday waged an airstrike on a Palestinian resistance post in the east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
No one was hurt in the aerial attack, according to a local medical source.
The Israeli army claimed it launched the air raid after a rocket fired from Gaza landed in an open area south of its territory on Friday night.
Earlier, Israeli soldiers killed one Palestinian young man and injured six others during their participation on Friday afternoon in March of Return rallies staged in Gaza border areas.
The armed wings of the Palestinian resistance factions already warned the Israeli army of committing any folly against Gaza protesters and said they would respond to its crimes.

Israeli soldiers killed, Friday, one Palestinian, and injured at least eight, including a medic and a photojournalist, during the Great March Of Return processions in the besieged Gaza Strip. The Health Ministry said two of the wounded suffered life-threatening injuries.
Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, said the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, high-velocity gas bombs and concussion grenades at the marchers, killing a young man, and wounding eight others.
Dr. al-Qedra stated that the soldiers killed Karam Mohammad No’man Fayyad, 26, a disabled Palestinian, after shooting him with a live round in the head, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal region. video video
The soldiers also shot eight Palestinians with live ammunition, including a child who was shot in the neck, a journalist and a female medic, along the perimeter fence areas, in the eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, as the Great Return March processions continue for the fortieth consecutive week.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers fired a barrage of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, in addition to high-velocity gas bombs and concussion grenades, especially east of Gaza city, al-Boreij refugee camp, Khan Younis and Rafah.

Israeli soldiers injured, Friday, several protesters during the weekly procession against the illegal Annexation Wall and colonies in Kufur Qaddoum town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.
The procession started on Friday afternoon from the center of Kufur Qaddoum, and was attended by dozens of Palestinians, Morad Eshteiwi, the media coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Colonies in Kufur Qaddoum, said the protesters nonviolently marched from the center of the village carrying Palestinian flags and chanting for liberation and independence. The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) conducted on Thursday a limited incursion east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
According to Quds Press, four Israeli bulldozers were seen destroying farmers' groves amidst heavy gunfire.
A similar armed attack was carried out east of the southern Gazan city of Khan Younis.
