It has been six months of unrest in Issawiya. Excessive police brutality and indiscriminate daily raids by Israeli forces with no justification have left residents of the East Jerusalem district exhausted – and there is no end in sight.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday arrested a Palestinian child near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil, Israeli media sources reported.
According to Israel Hayom newspaper, the IOF soldiers stationed at the entrance of the Ibrahimi Mosque arrested a Palestinian child after they searched him claiming that he was carrying a knife.
The child was taken to a nearby detention center for interrogation. No further information was given on the incident.
Dozens of Palestinians have been arrested or extra judicially killed over various allegations by the IOF at Israeli checkpoints in the Ibrahimi Mosque area.

Eyewitnesses in southern Gaza said the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) prevented on Tuesday evening ambulance crews from looking for and evacuating a Palestinian citizen after a military airplane opened fire at him in a border area in the east of Khan Younis.
Eyewitnesses told Quds Press that ambulances had tried several times to enter the targeted area to evacuate the citizen but all to no avail, adding that no one knew if he was dead or injured.
They reported seeing the IOF firing warning shots towards the ambulances to stop them from entering the area, adding that flares lit up the sky over the area, amid intensive presence of troops and military vehicles.
A soldier also used a megaphone to order the ambulances to move away from the area, according to the eyewitnesses.
The Israeli occupation army claimed the Palestinian was armed and spotted as he was approaching the security fence in southern Gaza.
Maariv newspaper, for its part, said that a young man from Gaza managed to infiltrate into the settlement of Nirim before the army neutralized him.

Israeli soldiers shot, on Tuesday evening, a Palestinian teenage boy near Beit Jala city, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers shot Hamza Khaled al-Hreimi, 16, in the thigh, before abducting him, and took him to an unknown destination.
They added that a Palestinian ambulance rushed to the scene after the teen was shot, but the soldiers refused to allow the medics to approach him.
The Israeli army claimed the teen “hurled a Molotov cocktail” towards the soldiers before they shot him.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday evening kidnaped a Palestinian woman near Nablus city in the northern West Bank.
According to Israel’s Channel 13, soldiers rounded up a woman after stopping the car she was aboard and searching it at the Jit junction in the west of Nablus city.
The channel said that the woman chanted “Death to Jews” from a public car, prompting the soldiers to arrest her, claiming that she was also found in possession of a knife.
