A Palestinian youth was injured on Monday night after being shot by the Israeli police in Hadera settlement near Haifa, the northern area of the 1948 occupied Palestine.
The Israeli website 0404 reported, quoting an Israeli police spokesperson, that a 21-year-old Palestinian, whose identity has not been revealed, attempted to stab an Israeli officer.
The Israeli police stopped the Palestinian youth and asked him to show his ID card, the spokesperson said, claiming that the youth was carrying a knife and attempted a stabbing attack.
He was shot and transferred to an Israeli hospital for treatment. His injury was described as "moderate".

A spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army said that soldiers arrested on Friday night a Palestinian near the border fence in the south of the Gaza Strip.
In a brief statement on Saturday morning, the army spokesperson claimed that the Palestinian was found in possession of a knife.
The IOF had already arrested many Palestinian citizens during similar attempts to infiltrate into Israel through the border fence. Human rights reports said that many of those attempts were made by young men who wanted to look for jobs in Israel.
In some incidents, the IOF opened fire at such citizens, leading them to suffer injuries or get killed.

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday evening, a young Palestinian man allegedly after he breached the perimeter fence, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said the young Palestinian man breached the fence and was instantly taken prisoner by the soldiers.
It added that the young man “carried a knife,” and was moved to an interrogation facility.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army frequently abducts Palestinians who approach the fence, without even crossing it, in addition to its constant assaults and violations targeting farmers, workers and shepherds on Palestinian lands near the fence.
The violations also include constantly targeting Palestinian fishermen and their boats.
These violations have led to dozens of casualties, including many fatalities among the farmers, workers and fishermen, in addition to scores of abductions, and the destruction and confiscation of many Palestinian fishing boats.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) shot and seriously injured a Palestinian man from Tulkarem on the pretext of trying to ram his car into soldiers manning a checkpoint in the northern West Bank on Monday night, the IOF told an Israeli news site.
After being shot, the man, who the source says has Israeli papers, drove away and was taken to Petah Tikva’s Beilinson Hospital. He is in serious condition in the intensive care unit, a hospital spokesperson said.
According to the military, the soldiers had set up a checkpoint outside the city of Tulkarem.

According to local sources, Israeli soldiers rounded up a girl called Rawan Abu Sneina at a checkpoint near al-Rajbi building, which was seized from its Palestinian owners and given to Jewish settlers.
The IOF claimed its forces found a knife inside the girl’s purse, accusing her of intending to carry out a stabbing attack.

A fire broke out last night inside an Israeli military base near Occupied Jerusalem after unknown persons attacked it with Molotov cocktails.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, the firebombs caused several military vehicles to burst into flames in an army base near Atarot area in northern Jerusalem.
The arson attack caused considerable damage to the vehicles.
Daily Israeli violations and crimes committed against Palestinian citizens, their property and holy sites in Jerusalem and its vicinity are seen as the main reason that provokes such acts of reprisal by Palestinian youths or resistance operatives.
