Israeli navy ships opened fire, on Sunday morning on several Palestinian fishing boats, in Gaza territorial waters, in the northern part of the coastal region.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, and chased the boats, forcing the fishermen back to shore, without being able to fish to provide for their families.
The attack is part of ongoing Israeli violations against the fishermen, and their boats, in addition to attacks against farmers and workers, on their lands, in several border areas, in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The attacks led to dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to the abduction of fishermen, and the illegal confiscation of their boats, their only source of livelihood.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, and chased the boats, forcing the fishermen back to shore, without being able to fish to provide for their families.

Four Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire during clashes that erupted on Friday afternoon with Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) at Gaza border.
Eyewitnesses said that a Palestinian youth was shot and injured in clashes that broke out near Karni crossing east of Gaza. Another man was wounded in similar clashes near Beit Hanoun crossing (Erez).
Two others were also shot and wounded near Nahal Oz site in the east. The injured were transferred to al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
The ongoing clashes have been continued for the seventh consecutive Friday in protest at the Israeli repeated violations and the US recognition of Occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday morning withdrew from different areas of Jenin in the West Bank, leaving behind massive destruction to four homes, amid conflicting reports on the number of casualties and detainees.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the IOF destroyed four houses, one partially, seemingly in reprisal for the losses its troops suffered during its operation in Jenin city.
The wife of Hamas-affiliated martyr Naser Jarrar said she saw a body not belonging to her son Ahmed, who was reportedly killed in the armed clashes, adding that she had no other details about her son or anyone else.
Israeli troops from the army and border police on Wednesday night stormed different areas of Jenin, including al-Hadaf neighborhood in the city where they exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters. The clashes continued into an early morning hour on Thursday.
The Hebrew media claimed that one armed Palestinian young man was killed and another was wounded during a shootout with special Israeli forces in Jenin city, adding that two soldiers were also wounded in the events.
Palestinian local sources and the health ministry identified the slain young man at first as Ahmed “Naser” Jarrar, whose father, a senior commander of al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, was assassinated by the IOF in his wheelchair in 2002 in Tubas city during the second intifada (uprising).
Later in the morning, the health ministry claimed that the martyr was 31-year-old Ahmed “Ismail” Jarrar.
Israel’s Channel 10 said that Ahmed Jarrar traded fire from a short distance with soldiers from the Yamam unit and was able to injure two of them, one severely, before he was killed, describing the operation as a harsh night for the Yamam unit.

An Israeli municipal crew escorted by police forces on Tuesday stormed al-Issawiya district in Occupied Jerusalem and put up administrative demolition orders against several homes at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Consequently, violent clashes broke out between young men and the police escort in the district, according to local sources.
Meanwhile, police soldiers entered Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque, and set up a makeshift checkpoint on the main road near al-Ain Mosque in Wadi Helwah neighborhood.
Eyewitnesses said that the soldiers intercepted dozens of passing cars at the checkpoint and embarked on issuing arbitrary traffic tickets against drivers.

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday at dawn, many Palestinian apartments, including one inhabited by a journalist, and conducted violent searches, causing serious property damage.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said the soldiers invaded the apartment of one of its reporters, identified as Zahran Hammad, after detonating the front door.
It added that the soldiers violently searched the property, causing Hammad’s children to suffer anxiety attacks, after the army detonated the main door, and stormed into the apartment, including their rooms.
The soldiers also invaded and ransacked many neighboring apartments, causing damage.
In related news, dozens of soldiers invaded Hebron city, in southern West Bank, before breaking into the home of a former political prisoner, identified as Jamal Karama, and summoned him for interrogation in Etzion military base, north of Hebron.
The soldiers also invaded the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, and searched the home of Mohammad Issa Abu Afifa, whose son was abducted two days ago.

During the raid, the IOF seized a private Palestinian vehicle and distributed notices threatening to wage further military measures against the residents for allegedly being involved in "acts of violence".
The IOF arrested two Palestinian youths in Tuqu' town and an ex-prisoner in al-Khader town in Bethlehem province.
The PIC reporter said that the IOF broke into the house of the ex-prisoner Mohammed Mousa, 32, searched it, wreaked havoc on it, and confiscated a taxi Mousa uses to earn a living for his family.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that the IOF arrested three Palestinian citizens after raiding and searching dozens of houses in Azzun town east of Qalqilya.
The IOF also arrested three Palestinians, including a university student, in Jericho and al-Khalil.
According to the PIC reporter, an Israeli military force erected a checkpoint early on Monday at the northern entrance to al-Fawwar refugee camp in al-Khalil, blocked the Palestinian citizens' movement and started to search vehicles and scrutinize the IDs of the citizens passing through the checkpoint.
