Extremist Jewish settlers called “Students for The Temple” stormed Tuesday the Aqsa Mosque from al-Magharebah Gate under tight security measures by Israeli Special Forces.
The settlers organized provocative tours in the facilities of the holy Mosque amidst large numbers of Palestinian worshipers who responded by chants of Allahu Akbar.
The PIC reporter quoted a worker at the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf as saying that the settlers’ tour guide carried banners representing the alleged Temple of Solomon and offered explanations of the myth claiming that the alleged Temple was in the place of the Aqsa Mosque.
Many of the Palestinian worshipers have recently maintained vigil at the Aqsa Mosque including students of Jerusalemite schools.
The Israeli policemen are still enforcing tight security measures against Jerusalemite women, regardless of their age, and holding the identities of some of them while passing through the Mosques’ various gates.
The Israeli policemen arrested on Monday three Palestinians in addition to a woman at the exit gates, and banned entry of a Jerusalemite woman into the holy site for two months.
One day earlier, three Jerusalemite women were also banned from entering the Aqsa Mosque for different periods just because of shouting with chants of Allahu Akbar against the settlers’ breaking into the holy site.

Bat Ayin
Group of IDF soldiers were attacked by gang of settlers, forcing the forces to fire in the air on Sunday, now soldiers recall event, voicing anger at becoming 'targets of the very people we defend.'
"Those who attacked us in Bat Ayin had blood in their eyes and were close to physically hurting us. We were fighting in Sajaiyeh just a few months ago during Operation Protective Edge and now we've become a target to the very people we defended," IDF soldiers from the Golani Brigade told Ynet on Monday.
The soldiers, from the IDF's 13th battalion, were attacked Sunday in the West Bank settlement of Bat Ayin and responded by firing several warning shots in the air. They had been deployed to the area to secure the area for police officers, who were conducting a number of arrests of far right activists.
The initial investigation held by the Judea & Samaria Division discovered that right-wing activists attempted to physically assault the soldiers and engaged in rock hurling at them. Two teens was arrested in connection with the attack.
"We have not seen such violence from Jews towards soldiers since (the 2011) Ephraim Brigade incident" in which the brigade's commander was attacked by settlers who then raided the force's base. "They have crossed the line against those who are here to protect them," a soldier said.
Another combat soldier from the forces said he felt as if "radical settler" had "spit" in his face. "No one has even appoligzed yet. There seems as if there is no difference between tehm and the terrorists in Hebron who throw stones or firebombs at us." Firing the warning shots in the area is unprecedented action against settlers, the soldiers said, adding they felt as if they had no choice as they were being psychically threatened.
Head of the unit's intelligence said the fear is now settlers will attempt to take revenge against the forces: "We are only here for a couple of days, but we're afraid they will target our base or equipment in a 'price tag' attack like they did in Yitzhar." Monday passed without incident as the IDF continued to investigate the incident, after two minors were arrested Sunday for attacking soldiers and Palestinians.
The IDF said in response that it "views such incident with the utmost severity." According to the IDF, "beyond the fact that this was illegal, it is distracts forces from their main objective - maintaining calm in the area." The suspects' lawyer said the IDF was infringing on their clients' rights, which they noted were minors.

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman renewed his call for the execution of Palestinians who carry out resistance attacks against the Israeli occupation.
Lieberman was commenting Friday on the Jerusalem attack in which a Palestinian driver ran over a number of Israeli conscripts in Occupied Jerusalem. The resistance operation resulted in the injury of six Israeli soldiers, according to Israeli policemen who immediately shot and seriously wounded the Palestinian man.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) deliberately shoot to kill the Palestinians who conduct such actions as evident in similar previous attacks.
For his part, Hamas spokesman abroad Hosam Badran stressed the Palestinians’ right of resistance. He opined that the run over operation demonstrates the insistence of the Palestinian people on the resistance option.
The Hamas spokesman told Quds Press that the “heroic operation” is a clear message to the world that the Palestinians have the right to respond to Israeli crimes including desecration of the Aqsa Mosque, the continuation of settlement in the West Bank, and the siege on the Gaza Strip.
Regarding to the Palestinian Central Council (PCC) decision of ending the security coordination with the Israeli occupation, Badran said “we look positively at the decision, whilst the actual implementation is the only indication for its seriousness”.
He pointed out that the first step towards the enforcement of the PCC decision should include releasing all of the political detainees from the Palestinian Authority jails as well as halting the arrests and summonses on political grounds.

Israeli settlers attack Palestinian properties in occupied Jerusalem as part of Israeli systematic displacement and Judaization policy in the holy city.
The Galicia Jewish school students have deliberately attacked Palestinian-owned shops in the Old City in Jerusalem in a desperate attempt to force their owners to leave the market.
The shopkeeper Sami Salhab said that the settlers used to throw waste on the shops’ roofs, which led to its accumulation and the clogging of storm water channels.
The settlers used to deliberately throw waste and woods on the roofs of the stores in the Old City’s market which cause flooding and property damage, the shopkeeper added.
Late month, the municipal work crews cleaned up the roofs. However, we were surprised yesterday that the waste has been accumulated again, he pointed out.
The settlers’ attack is not the first of its kind, as they tirelessly attempt to confiscate the Palestinian-owned stores.
Salhab said that the settlers usually perform Talmudic rituals on the roofs of the stores that originally belong to the Islamic endowment authority.
He called on Jerusalemite institutions to provide the market’s shops with iron roof trusses to prevent any future attack.

A horde of Israeli extremist settlers overnight Wednesday set fire to two private vehicles that belong to Palestinian citizens and sprayed price-tag graffiti on the walls of a civilian home in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Eye-witnesses said Israeli extremist settlers set fire to the vehicles of Ghassan Jamal Abu Alya and Akram Kamal Na’san, living in the western area of al-Mugheir town, in Ramallah province.
The settlers further sprayed price-tag and anti-Arab graffiti on the walls of the house of Ghassan Abu Alya moments before they fled.
By-standers at the scene said the settlers then sped away in a car to the illegal Shilo settlement outpost.
Earlier, a bunch of Israeli vandals torched Othman Ibn Affan Mosque in the town, leading to remarkable material damage.
In a related development, a group of Israeli settlers attempted to storm Al-Nabi Younis Mosque in al-Khalil’s town of Halhoul.
Jamal Abu Aram, head of the Halhoul Awqaf department said the Palestinian natives of the area have stood on their guard to the settlers and thwarted the desecration assault, the seventh of its kind over the past couple of months.
The attempt comes as part of a pre-planned Israeli policy targeting the mosque and holy Islamic shrines in the West Bank, he added, pointing to a recent assault on al-Huda Mosque in al-Jab’a village.
Abu Aram further spoke out against the series of sacrilegious assaults on holy al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque, among other Islamic holy shrines.
