Some Palestinian young men on Saturday afternoon were able to breach the Israeli border fence east of al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, pitch a plastic tent and set fire to a military post.
The youths fled back into the Gaza Strip after setting the Israeli army site alight.

Palestinian young men at dawn Sunday hurled several firebombs at Jewish settlers’ cars on a road near Azzun town, east of Qalqilya city in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that several Molotov cocktails were thrown at settlers’ cars traveling on the main road near Azzun town.
Consequently, the Israeli occupation forces closed the main entrance to the town, searched Palestinian vehicles and spread through the area.
Such attacks are seen as natural reactions to the daily violations and crimes committed by Israeli soldiers and settlers against the Palestinians in the West Bank, and are also launched in protest at the illegal presence of settlements there.

Massive fires erupted on Friday in five sites in the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories by flaming kites and balloons launched from the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that two fires flared up in the afternoon in settler farmlands east of Beit Hanoun town and al-Bureij refugee camp in the northern and central Gaza Strip respectively.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday arrested a Palestinian young man after hitting him with a military vehicle, claiming he opened fire at soldiers west of Bethlehem.
According to the Hebrew media, border police officers arrested a young man in his 20s after he fired shots at a checkpoint west of Bethlehem at 02:30 am.
The young man was slightly injured after he was chased and rammed by a military vehicle.
The IOF said the detainee, which was identified as a resident of Beit Sahour town near Bethlehem, was found in possession of a handgun and knife.

The Israeli army on Tuesday morning unleashed an artillery shell and gunfire toward a Palestinian resistance site, east of the Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza Strip.
According to eye-witnesses, the Israeli army fired an artillery shell toward the eastern corners of the Bureij camp.
The Israeli army spokesman claimed the shelling came after an Israeli military site was burned down by anti-occupation youth.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) over the past few days have arrested five Palestinians during raids into different West Bank provinces.
The Israeli army in a statement Monday announced that its forces since the beginning of the week have arrested five Palestinians who are allegedly involved in popular resistance activities against Israeli targets.
The statement said that the IOF during the same campaign confiscated a sum of money that was used by Palestinian factions for anti-Israel operations.
Violent clashes broke out at dawn in Jenin city during an IOF campaign to arrest a "wanted" Palestinian.
Eyewitnesses told Quds Press that the IOF soldiers surrounded the house of the Palestinian citizen Raed Abu Sorour in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, adding that armed clashes flared up before Abu Sorour managed to withdraw from the area.
According to medical sources, five Palestinians suffered different injuries during Jenin clashes.
Other confrontations and arrests were witnessed in many areas in Occupied Jerusalem Sunday night.
The Israeli police assaulted a crowd of Palestinian citizens in Bab al-Amud area in an attempt to force them out of the place. As the citizens refused to obey the police orders, the latter responded by heavily firing sound bombs ignoring the presence of women, children and old people.
Bab al-Amud area was later emptied of Palestinians and blocked with iron barriers. Local sources reported that a Palestinian young man was arrested during the confrontations.
