At least five Palestinians were injured after clashes erupted Friday afternoon between Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and local youths near Gaza borders to the east of Jabalia town north of Gaza Strip, medical sources said.
Spokesman for Health Ministry in Gaza Strip Ashraf al-Qudra affirmed that four youths suffered slight injuries after Israeli forces stationed along Gaza borders fired rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters at a group of Palestinians present near the borders to the east of the town of Jabalia.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old Palestinian was struck by a live bullet in the foot during similar clashes that broke out in al-Birij refugee camp.
The teen was transferred to a hospital for medical treatment, where his condition was described as moderate.

Jaber added that the soldiers detained many Palestinians, including journalists, after preventing media outlets from entering the area.

Palestinian civilians and drivers have been denied access out of and into their homes and workplaces as a result of the abrupt closure. The Israeli army said the cordon is to be kept until noontime.
Israeli jeeps, police troops, and military patrols also showed up at the scene to protect the contestants.
Meanwhile, Palestinian youth Aboud Harzallah was kidnapped by the Israeli soldiers from his family home in Jenin’s southwestern town of Yabad.
The IOF further attacked a peaceful march calling for unblocking the main road to Khirbet Qelqes, south of al-Khalil province.

The marchers chanted slogans denouncing Israel’s infringement of Palestinians’ freedom of movement, which they said led to the death of a number of civilians as they were forced to pass through unsafe bypass roads due to the Israeli closures.
The occupation forces also came down heavily on press officers as they attempted to cover the event and detained a number of protesters.

A Palestinian teenager on Thursday evening suffered a bullet injury after an Israeli soldier opened fire at him at al-Jalama crossing, northeast of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, 17-year-old Adham Abu Kharj was badly injured in his right thigh after a soldier at the crossing shot at him with no reason.
Later, a Red Crescent ambulance crew gave him instant medical assistance before transferring him to hospital.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested a Palestinian young man on Thursday after closing the entrance to Al-Karantina neighborhood linking between the northern and southern parts of al-Khalil city south of West Bank.
Local residents were prevented from leaving or entering the neighborhood, the PIC reporter said.
The Israeli military restrictions came shortly after clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli forces in the area.
A 24-year-old youngster was arrested during the events.

Three Palestinians were injured and others chocked on tear gas on Tuesday evening after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided al-Daher area to the south of Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil.
Media activist Mohammed Awad said that three boys were injured in their feet as the IOF soldiers fired rubber bullets, sound bombs and tear gas canisters at the Palestinian citizens who responded by throwing stones and empty bottles.
Awad added that the IOF soldiers, before they withdrew toward the nearby Karmei Tzur settlement, occupied the rooftops of Palestinian houses to fire rubber bullets and tear gas canisters and blocked the main road with garbage containers hindering the movement of citizens and vehicles.

So we will not have the luxury to wage a long war.”
"We live in a new reality of a new Middle East, which is much worse than the old Middle East. And in this terrible new reality, we have yet to face difficult tests,” he added.
"Any confrontation will have to be conducted from the very first moment in the highest profile, using all the army’s strengths," Lieberman continued. "If there is a crossing of red lines, the other side must know in advance that it is going to pay very heavy prices.”
"The sovereign, too, regardless of whether he controls his territory or not - as soon as a hostile action takes place, the sovereign will also bear all the responsibility," the war minister further threatened.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday broke into al-Ras al-Ahmar area in the northern Jordan Valley and assaulted Palestinian farmers.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that Israeli infantry soldiers chased Palestinian farmers in the fields of al-Ras al-Ahmar area and prevented them from entering their farmlands.
They pointed out that the IOF soldiers stopped a bulldozer working on an agricultural road in the area and forced its driver to get down from the vehicle, and added that the soldiers later closed the area completely blocking Palestinian citizens' movement.
Since the beginning of 2017, Israeli forces have launched dozens of attacks against al-Ras al-Ahmar area confiscating vehicles, destroying crops and arresting farmers.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Saturday attacked and prevented Palestinian farmers from picking olive harvests in al-Nabi Elyas village east of Qalqilya, in the northern West Bank.
IOF soldiers forced the farmers out of the area and warned them of accessing their lands.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday quelled a number of Palestinian marches in the West Bank provinces with no injuries or arrests reported.
The IOF quelled a march organized by Fatah Movement in al-Khalil in front of the Ibrahimi Mosque in protest at the Israeli government's decision to establish an independent municipal administration for settlers in the Old City of al-Khalil.
IOF soldiers assaulted the participants, dispersed them by force and intensified their presence in the courtyard of the Ibrahimi Mosque and at the nearby checkpoints and metal detectors.
The protesters condemned the repeated closure of the Ibrahimi Mosque and the erection of more checkpoints and metal detectors in the city under the pretext of celebrating the Jewish holidays.
In Qalqilya, the IOF quelled the anti-settlement weekly march of Kafr Qaddum which demands opening the town's road that has been closed for more than 14 years in favor of the settlers of the illegal settlement of Kedumim.
Popular resistance coordinator in Kafr Qaddum, Murad Shtewi, said that the IOF soldiers attacked the marchers with rubber-coated metal bullets and chased them in the nearby olive fields, but no injuries or arrests were reported.
Shtewi denounced the Israeli celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of settlement activity in the West Bank, calling on Palestinians to escalate popular resistance in all its forms.
The protesters congratulated the Palestinian people for the recognition of Palestine as a member-state in the Interpol and praised the diplomatic efforts made by the Palestinian leadership, calling for the continuation of such efforts to end the Israeli occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
In Ramallah, the IOF quelled the weekly demonstration of Ni'lin which is organized against the settlement and the apartheid wall.
Member of the popular committee against the wall and settlement in Ni'lin, Mohammed Amira, said that the IOF soldiers fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters at the demonstrators and chased them in the olive groves in the village with no arrests reported.
Amira pointed out that Ni'lin march was launched on Friday in commemoration of the 17th anniversary of the second Intifada.

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Friday at dawn, the southern West Bank city of Hebron, broke into and searched homes, and abducted three Palestinians in addition to assaulting an elderly woman, and a pregnant woman.
Resident Hilmi Mahmoud al-Qawasmi said the soldiers wired and detonated the main door of his home, and invaded it before deploying their k9 unit.
He added that the soldiers assaulted his wife, an elderly woman identified as Intisar Abdul-Mottaleb al-Qawasmi, causing many cuts and bruises, especially after pushing her onto the ground.
The soldiers also attacked Hilmi’s pregnant daughter, Wala’, who also suffered cuts and bruises, in addition to a severe anxiety attack, caused by the dogs the army unleashed in the property.
After more than an hour of violent searches and assaults against the family, the soldiers found out that they broke into the wrong home.
The soldiers also searched many homes in the city, and abducted Hafeth Nidal Nasreddin, 21, Ala Tareq Abu Rajab and Husam Mousa Abu Shkeidim.

Local media activist Mohamed Awad said that skirmishes took place in al-Dahar area of Beit Ummar town near the illegal settlement of Karmei Tzur, where Israeli soldiers showered young protestors with tear gas.
Awad added that many young men suffered from inhaling tear gas and two others had rubber bullet injuries during the clashes.
Similar clashes happened in Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin, where several youths also suffered from inhaling tear gas.
Local sources said that four young men, including two brothers, were rounded up during confrontations with IOF soldiers in the town and taken to the military checkpoint of Dutan.
They were identified as Ma’aab Abu Shamla, Amer Bajawi and the brothers, Majed and Sayed Attatera.
