Dozens of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces on Monday morning entered the Aqsa Mosque and desecrated its courtyards.
Extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick was among the settlers who defiled the Mosque and performed Jewish prayers in its eastern area.
Rabbi Glick recently intensified his break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque in order to give lectures about the alleged temple mount.
The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Israeli police close al-Maghariba Gate, which is used by Jews to enter the Mosque, at 10:30 am after the settlers complete their morning tours at the holy site. Later in the afternoon, the same gate is reopened for evening tours by settlers.
During the presence of settlers inside the Mosque compound, entry restrictions are imposed on Muslim worshipers at the entrances leading to the Mosque and their IDs are seized until they leave the holy place.

Hordes of Jewish settlers on Sunday morning broke into al-Aqsa Mosque under police escort.
Local sources said that about 60 Israeli settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning hours, including extremist rabbis and intelligence officers.
The settlers roamed al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals near Bab al-Rahma prayer area in the eastern side of the Mosque.
The Israeli police forces accompanying the settlers announced the eastern area of the Mosque a “closed military zone” during the settler break-in and forced Palestinian worshipers out.

A Palestinian citizen was injured early today morning after extremist Israeli settlers hurled his vehicle with stones while he was driving on the Nablus-Qalqilia road in the occupied West Bank, local sources said.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian Authority official who monitors settlement and settlers' activities in the north of the West Bank, told WAFA that settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Yitzhar attacked citizens' vehicles with rocks on the road said near the village of Burin, injuring at least one driver.
The injured man was taken to the nearby Darwish Nazzal hospital, where his injury was described as moderate.
Settler violence is routine in the occupied West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by the occupation authorities. Almost all kinds of violence by Jewish settlers go unpunished except in very rare cases.

Israeli settlers today blocked a main traffic artery located to the south of Nablus city, said a local activist.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement construction in the northern West Bank, confirmed that Israeli settlers sealed off the main Huwara Road, preventing Palestinian traffic in both directions. He cautioned against the escalation of settler attacks against the Palestinian people and property, particularly in the area extending between Ramallah and Nablus districts. Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. |

Israeli occupation forces and settlers today attacked Palestinians who were attempting to protect their lands near a water well in the village of Deir Sharif, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, according to Mohammed Azem, mayor of nearby Sebastia village. video
He said Palestinians from both villages went to the area where settlers had set up a tent and a caravan near the well, which is often a prelude for taking over the land to expand their illegal colonial settlements. He added that the occupation soldiers and settlers attacked the Palestinians and kicked them out of the area where the local villagers plan to hold the Friday prayer tomorrow in an effort to prevent the establishment of a new colonial outpost on their lands. |

He said this terror group was seen last night at the entrance to al-Lubban al-Sharqiya village on the Ramallah-Nablus road while other members of the group broke into an historical area north of Nablus.

A group of Israeli settlers on Wednesday chopped off a number of Palestinian-owned olive trees in Kafr ad-Dik town in the West Bank district of Salfit.
Zaher Taha, the owner of the destroyed trees, said in press statements that a group of Israeli settlers from Brukhin settlement stormed his farmland and cut down 15 olive trees which he planted 4-6 years ago.
Taha said that this attack is not the first of its kind, explaining that settler gangs constantly attack his farmland and wreak havoc on it.
The Palestinian farmer added that in 2011 the Israeli occupation forces destroyed some of his equipment and demolished an over 100-year-old water well which he used for irrigation.

Israeli bulldozers today razed a large tract of land in the city of Dura, southwest of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, according to local sources.
Coordinator for the Anti-Wall and Settlement Committee Rateb al-Jabour said that Israeli forces escorted bulldozers to the land adjacent to the illegal Israeli colonial settlement of Negohot, where they heavy machines leveled it for to make room for settlement expansion. video The landowners were identified as the Ghannam and Odeh families.
