Dozens of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces entered the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem and desecrated its courtyards on Monday morning.
According to Jerusalemite sources, hordes of settlers entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gaza and toured its courtyards under tight police guard.
Extremist rabbi and former MK Yehuda Glick was seen among a group of settlers giving a lecture about the alleged temple mount.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police detained on the same day four Jerusalemite young men from Wadi al-Joz neighborhood on a charge of fending off rabbi Glick about 10 days ago after he entered the mourning house of martyr Iyad al-Hallaq, an autistic local young man who was shot dead recently by police officers.
Jerusalemite citizens who witnessed the incident accused Glick of seeking to create a “provocation” by going to the Halak family home in the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood, where there were mourners, although he knew that the local residents despise him.

Jewish settlers on Sunday bulldozed a vast tract of Palestinian land in Jalud village, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that bulldozers belonging to Shvut Rachel settlers embarked on leveling swaths of land in Jalud village, particularly in the area known as Khafafish.
Settlers living in illegal West Bank settlements enjoy support from the right-wing government of premier Benjamin Netanyahu, whose recent pledge to annex parts of the West Bank, including the Jordan Valley, is intended to formalize existing settlements and take over more Palestinian lands for settlement construction and expansion.

A video released by an extremist Jewish group called “Hilltop Youth” has showed that a new big tunnel is being built under the Aqsa Mosque and its western wall and will be opened officially in early July.
Hilltop Youth published the footage about the new tunnel for a few minutes on its website and then removed it.
The footage showed a tunnel was being dug and Jewish settlers excitedly carrying dirt and rocks from the site, utilizing digging equipment and taking pictures for themselves during the work.
According to local sources who saw the video, the tunnel goes beneath the Aqsa Mosque compound, especially at its Maghariba Gate, its western wall, the Umayyad Palaces area at the compound’s southern wall, and the triple door of the Marwani prayer hall.

Scores of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces entered the Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning and desecrated its courtyards.
According to local sources, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque in groups through al-Maghariba Gate under police guard and toured its courtyards.
A group of settlers and rabbis gathered in the courtyard of the Dome of the Rock and loudly uttered Talmudic hymns, the sources said. video video
The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Israeli police close al-Maghariba Gate, which is used by Jews to enter the Mosque, at 10:30 am after the settlers complete their morning tours at the holy site. Later in the afternoon, the same gate is reopened for evening tours by settlers.
During the presence of settlers inside the Mosque compound, entry restrictions are imposed on Muslim worshipers at the entrances leading to the Mosque and their IDs are seized until they leave the holy place.
The Israeli occupation police, who have no jurisdiction over the Aqsa Mosque, also issue or extend arbitrary entry bans ordering Jerusalemite citizens and figures not to enter the Islamic holy site for weeks or months.
Recently after the Islamic Awqaf authority in Jerusalem reopened the Aqsa Mosque to Muslim worshipers following its closure for over two months as a measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the Israeli police intentionally intensified the banishment of Palestinian citizens from the Islamic holy site.
During recent weeks, Aqsa entry ban orders were issued against dozens of Jerusalemite figures, Aqsa employees and activists.
Such illegal policy is believed to be part of practices aimed at allowing Jewish settlers to perform rituals without Palestinian opposition and paving the way for the Israeli occupation state to control the holy site.

A group of Israeli thugs from the illegal settlement of Dabouyia in the occupied section of the southern West Bank city of Hebron attacked last night a Palestinian man in Shuhada Street, as shown in a video of the incident.
A lone Israeli soldier in the heavily protected area attempted to intervene but the thugs kept coming back after the Palestinian man, who was not identified, and attack him.
Palestinians who attempt to defend themselves against settlers are often shot and killed under the pretext of attacking Israelis, while the settlers who attack Palestinians and vandalize their property often get away with and are never prosecuted for their actions.
Israelis from the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba in Hebron also attacked last night Palestinian homes and vehicles nearby causing heavy damage to property, according to local sources.
Settler attacks against Palestinian civilians in the occupied section of Hebron have increased since the departure of the Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH) in February 2019 after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has terminated its mandate as an observer force established by a United Nations Security Council resolution in 1994 and composed of 180 members of several European countries with a mission to monitor and report on such attacks by settlers against the vulnerable and defenseless civilian Palestinian population in occupied Hebron.

Illegal Israeli settlers today attacked homes of Palestinians after raiding the village of Susya, near the town of Yatta in Hebron governorate, south of the occupied West Bank, said a local source.
Rateb Jabour, an official who monitors Israeli settlement activities in the area, told WAFA that Jewish settlers from a nearby illegal settlement, escorted by an army force, broke into the village and attacked several homes, but were thwarted by local civilians. video

Israeli settlers Friday overnight stormed and attacked a Palestinian house in Kifl Haris town, north of the West Bank city of Salfit, said local sources.
Sources confirmed that scores of settlers, under heavy military protection, stormed the town, where they barged their way into the Islamic shrine of Thul-Kifl, desecrating it. video
They also attacked a local house and shouted anti-Palestinian hate slogans.
Israeli soldiers secured the settlers entry into and exit from the town, occupying the rooftops of several houses close to the shrine, forcing local vendors to close their stores and restricting villagers’ movement during the raid.
The town houses several archeological sites, including the shrine of the Muslim Prophet Thul-Kufl, which settlers identify as the traditional burial site of Joshua.
Located at a horizontal distance of some 5 kilometers to the north of Salfit, Kifl Haris has a population of some 4,350 and occupies a total area of 9,300 dunams.
Under the Oslo Accords, an agreement made 25 years ago that was supposed to last just five years towards a self-governing country alongside Israel, the Palestinian Authority was given ed control over a pocket of land occupying some 3,900 dunams and accounting for 42 percent of the village’s total area.
This area is classified as Area B. In contrast, Israel maintains control over the remainder, classified as Area C.
An area of 4,209 dunams of the village, accounting for 97 percent, is completely isolated by the section of Israel’s apartheid wall. The majority of this land is agricultural land, forests and open spaces.
The village is flanked by several Israeli colonial settlements, which are partly constructed on land seized from the town; Ariel from the southeast and the cluster of Revavim, Qiryat Netafim and Barqan from the west and southwest.
Israel uses the Jewish nationalist name “Judea and Samaria” to refer to the occupied West Bank to reinforce its bogus claims to the territory and to give them a veneer of historical and religious legitimacy.
There are almost 834,000 Israeli settlers living in colonial settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
