Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian shepherds and prevented them from herding their flocks of sheep, on Thursday, in Tarami area, south of the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron.
According to local sources, Israeli settlers, under the heavy protection of Israeli forces, stormed an open field in the Tarami area and attacked two shepherds by repeatedly beating them.
Sources added that the two shepherds are from Mur family, noting they had suffered bruises and various cuts from the attack.
Sources stressed the increase of Israeli attacks against Palestinian residents and shepherds in southern Hebron, particularly in the Masafer Yatta area, where settlers prevent shepherds and farmers from reaching their lands and herding their livestock.
The Palestinian government has no jurisdiction over Israelis in the West Bank, and acts carried out by Israeli settlers often occur in the presence of Israeli military forces who rarely act to protect Palestinian residents.

The Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem informed a Palestinian resident in occupied East Jerusalem that she must pay settlers 45 thousand New Israeli Shekels as compensation for lawyers’ fees, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center reported, according to WAFA.
Staff from the Israeli municipality raided the home of Ilham Seyyam and told her she that has to pay settlers a sum of NIS 45,000 (approximately $12,400) to compensate them for lawyers’ fees they had previously paid.

On Monday, Muslim worshipers smashed the iron locks and chains stealthily set up by Israeli police overnight at al-Rahma Gate. Israeli cops violently attacked the Muslim worshipers and arrested a number of them along with a woman from the Awqaf Maps Department.

Dozens of Israeli settlers on Monday flocked to the southern entrance of al-Laban al-Sharkiya village, south of Nablus, without prior notices.
Palestinian locals have expressed concern that Israeli settlers are plotting to build a new settlement on their land after watching settlers arrive today in hordes at their village.
Local sources said four Israeli buses and vehicles arrived at the southern entrance to the village and dropped off dozens of settlers in the area.
The area has been targeted by the occupation authorities and the settlers over recent years. At one point, Israeli settlers set up tents on top of a local hill before the village residents confronted them, kicked them out and burnt the tents.
