Israeli soldiers invaded, on Thursday at dawn, the town of al-Yamoun, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and injured several Palestinians during ensuing protests.
Media sources said a large military force invaded the town at dawn, before the soldiers stormed and violently searched many homes, causing damage.
They added that the soldiers smashed the main doors of a few invaded homes, including those owned by the sons of the late Mohammad Saber Lubbadi, in addition to Abu Raqi Houshiyya, before storming them and conducting the violent searches.
The soldiers also interrogated many Palestinians in their own homes, while examining their ID cards.
The invasion led to protest in the town, and the soldiers fired several live rounds, gas bombs and concussion grenades at local youngsters, who hurled stones at the army jeeps, especially in the neighborhoods of al-Lubbadi and as-Saudi.
Several Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, before receiving the needed treatment by local medics.

The Israeli occupation navy on Wednesday morning launched a renewed shooting attack on Palestinian fishermen and their boats off the northern coast of Gaza.
Local sources said that Israeli gunboats opened machinegun fire several fishing boats during their presence within five nautical miles off the northern shore of Gaza City.
Luckily, no one was injured in the shooting attack.
Recently, the Israeli navy intensified its attacks on Gazan fishermen and their boats.

Fishermen and human rights groups also say that since the 2008-09 war in Gaza, the Israeli army has been regularly enforcing a limit even closer to the shore.

For the second day in a row, Israeli soldiers continued to harass and terrorize Palestinian civilians in the northern West Bank town of Yabad as part of its collective punishment policy against the entire town after a soldier was killed yesterday when hit in the head by a rock thrown at him from a rooftop during an army operation in the town.

Israeli soldiers shot, on Tuesday afternoon, a young Palestinian man at the Qalandia Terminal, north of occupied East Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired live rounds at the Palestinian, who remained unidentified at the time of this report and injured him.

Israeli media outlets quoted the army claiming that it is investigating “an attempted stabbing attack” at the terminal, without providing more information.
