It added that an investigation has been opened into the incident by the Israeli army.

Several Palestinian young men suffered injuries during violent clashes on Saturday evening with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Kafr Qaddum town, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF randomly fired tear gas grenades at the young men during the events, triggering flames in nearby fields.
Every week, Palestinians and foreign activists stage a weekly march in the town of Kafr Qaddum to protest Israel’s closure of the village’s main street and settlement activities.
The Israeli occupation army blocked off the road after expanding the illegal Israeli settlement of Kedumim in 2003, forcing village residents to take a bypass road in order to travel to Nablus, which has extended the travel time to Nablus from 15 minutes to 40 minutes, according to Israeli rights group B'Tselem.
In a separate incident, a horde of Jewish settlers on the same day physically assaulted a Palestinian citizen in Einabus village, south of Nablus city.
Local sources in Einabus said that a local resident called Iyad Fawzi suffered injuries and bruises and received medical assistance in a hospital after settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar severely beat him and escaped the scene.

Israeli navy Friday morning attacked a fisherman offshore Gaza city, according to WAFA correspondent.
He said that Israeli naval boats opened gunfire towards a fishing boat sailing within three nautical miles offshore al-Waha area, northwest of Gaza city, injuring the fisherman.
The casualty was rushed to al-Shifaa Hospital for treatment, where medics described his injury as moderate.
Fourteen years following the Israeli “disengagement” from Gaza, Israel has not actually disengaged from Gaza; it still maintains control of its land borders, access to the sea and airspace.
Two million Palestinians live the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a punishing and crippling Israeli blockade for 12 years and repeated onslaughts that have heavily damaged much of the enclave’s infrastructure.
Gaza’s 2-million population remains under “remote control” occupation and a strict siege, which has destroyed the local economy, strangled Palestinian livelihoods, plunged them into unprecedented rates of unemployment and poverty, and cut off from the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories and the wider world.
Gaza remains occupied territory, having no control over its borders, territorial waters or airspace. Meanwhile, Israel upholds very few of its responsibilities as the occupying power, failing to provide for the basic needs of Palestinian civilians living in the territory.
Every two in three Palestinians in Gaza is a refugee from lands inside what is now Israel. That government forbids them from exercising their right to return as enshrined in international law because they are not Jews.
