The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported, Thursday, that two Palestinians, who were shot and seriously injured by Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip, have succumbed to their serious wounds.
Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, said a young man, identified as Ahmad Ali Qattoush, 23, died at the Shifa Medical Center in Gaza, from serious wounds he suffered several days ago, after Israeli soldiers shot him with a live round in the head, east of the al-Boreij refugee camp, in Central Gaza.

Abu Tahoun, from Zawaida area in Gaza city, was moved to a hospital in Gaza, before he was transferred, Wednesday, to the Al-Ahli Palestinian hospital, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, where he succumbed to his wounds on Thursday evening.
Dr. al-Qedra said 50 Palestinians, who were injured by Israeli army fire since the Great Return March nonviolent protests started on March 30th, have been declared clinically dead, and added that 114 Palestinians, including 14 children and two journalists, who were killed.
Israeli soldiers have injured 13190 Palestinians since then, 330 of them suffered life-threatening wounds.
13 of the Palestinians who were killed by Israeli army fire, and 2096 of the wounded, are children, while 7618 of the injured were shot with live fire, the illegal expanding bullets in addition to rubber-coated steel bullets, and the rest suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.
It is worth mentioning that 32 of the wounded Palestinians suffered injuries that caused the amputation of their limbs; 27of them had their legs amputated.

A Palestinian young man was pronounced dead on Thursday evening after he succumbed to wounds inflicted by the Israeli military during the Gaza Strip’s border protests.

A Palestinian child died on Wednesday evening from wounds he sustained during clashes at the northern entrance to al-Bireh city in the West Bank last week.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the evening announced the death of the 15-year-old Uday Abu Khalil, a resident of Ain Sinya village north of Ramallah.
Abu Khalil was shot in the abdomen during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces eight days ago. He was first transferred to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah then he was taken to al-Najah Hospital in Nablus where he died.

Aziz ‘Oweisat, 53
The Palestinian Detainees’ Committee has reported that detainee Aziz ‘Oweisat, 53, died at an Israeli hospital from serious complications after he was assaulted by several Israeli soldiers in the prison, who claimed he attacked an officer with a sharp object.
The Committee said ‘Oweisat, from Jabal al-Mokabber in occupied Jerusalem, was taken prisoner on March 24, 2014, and was sentenced to a life term.
The Committee added that he suffered brain hemorrhage and a heart attack after the soldiers continuously assaulting him in Eshil Israeli prison, on May 2, 2018, and went into a coma before he was moved to Ramla Israeli Medical Center.
Later, the detainee was moved to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center due to the seriousness of his condition, but he suffered further deterioration, and was transferred to Tal HaShomer Medical Center.
On May 10th, 2018, he underwent heart surgery at Tal HaShomer Israeli Medical Center, and lasted for nearly three hours.
Despite his serious condition, he was returned a few days ago to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, after the Administration of Tal HaShomer refused to keep him hospitalized at their facility.
The Detainees’ Committee said he died at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, due to the seriousness of his condition.
It is worth mentioning that the Detainees’ Committee filed an urgent appeal with an Israeli court asking for his release so that he could receive steady medical attention, and the court scheduled the hearing for May 25th. He did not make it to the hearing, however, since he died on May 20th.
The detainees in Israeli prisons and detention camps declared a three-day mourning period, and demanded that Israel be held accountable for its violations and crimes.
For its part, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) held Israel fully responsible for his death, especially since the Israeli Prison Authority refused to release him despite its knowledge of his serious condition.
It added that seven Palestinian detainees have died in the last five years after being denied medical attention, in addition to ‘Oweisat.
The PPS also said that 216 Palestinians have died in Israeli prisons and interrogation centers since Israel occupied the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Golan and East Jerusalem, in 1967.
It added that 75 detainees were executed after the soldiers arrested them, 72 died while being tortured during interrogation, 7 were killed by the soldiers in prisons, and 62 died after being denied medical treatment.
The head of the Palestinian Detainees’ Committee, Issa Qaraqe, accused Israel of deliberately killing the detainee, and called for establishing an international committee to investigate Israeli crimes and violations against the detainees.
On Sunday night, dozens of Palestinians held a procession in Jabal al-Mokabber neighborhood, before the soldiers invaded the area and engaged in an excessive use of force against them.
The soldiers fired several live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs, while many youngsters hurled stones at them.

The Palestinian, from Jabalia an-Nazla, in northern Gaza, was shot by the soldiers during the Great Return March, near the border fence, east of Jabalia.

The Palestinian Independent Commission for the Prosecution of the Zionist Occupation’s Crimes against Palestinians, Tawtheeq, said that 54 civilians of those who have suffered injuries during their participation in Gaza’s March of Return protests are “clinically dead.”
In a news conference held in Gaza City on Thursday, a spokesperson for the commission called for urgent intervention by the international community and the UN to provide protection for the citizens participating in March of Return rallies in Gaza.
The commission also called on the UN secretary-general to set up an independent inquiry into the massacre that was committed last Monday by the Israeli occupation army against unarmed protesters.
It also asked Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas to necessarily issue an edict to file war crimes complaints against Israel with the International Criminal Court.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Tuesday shot and killed two Palestinians in Gaza Strip, just one day after killing more than 60 Palestinians including an infant.
The PIC reporter quoted medical sources as affirming that the 51-year-old Ahmad Gharab, from Nuseirat refugee camp, was killed Tuesday afternoon.

The 18-year-old Bilal al-Ashram was also shot dead by Israeli snipers during his participation in the non-violent protests along the Gaza borders.
417 people were also injured during the attack.
More Palestinian protests have gathered along Gaza border on Tuesday, which marks the 70th anniversary of Nakba.
Since the rallies began on March 30, more than 116 Palestinian demonstrators have been killed and hundreds injured by cross-border Israeli gunfire, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
51-year-old Palestinian killed in new Israeli attack
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Tuesday shot and killed a Palestinian east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, raising the death toll to 63 since Monday.
The PIC reporter quoted medical sources as affirming that the 51-year-old Ahmad Gharab, from Nuseirat refugee camp, was killed Tuesday afternoon.

The Ministry said the child, Adel Ibrahim Matar, 16, was shot with live fire, east of Gaza city, and remained in a critical condition at the Shifa Hospital in Gaza, until he succumbed to his serious wounds.
Also on Tuesday morning, a man identified as Omar Abu Fol, 30, died from serious wounds he suffered, Monday, after Israeli soldiers shot him, east of Gaza City.
