The Israeli occupation army at dawn Tuesday put its forces on high alert in the occupied West Bank and stormed towns in southern Nablus following shooting incidents in the illegal settlements of Rehelim and Yitzhar.
According to local sources, a large number of Israeli troops aboard military vehicles encircled Qabalan town after Palestinians aboard a motorcycle opened fire at Rehelim settlement and fled to the town.
Military reinforcement were also sent to Yitzhar settlement and its vicinity after hearing gunshots.
Afterwards, the Israeli army closed all entrances and checkpoints leading to Nablus city.
Israeli military patrols were also seen entering Beit Dajan town east of Nablus and spreading on the eastern plain of the town.

An Israeli aircraft bombed on Monday afternoon a resistance position east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
There were no immediate reports of Palestinian injuries in the airstrike.
“The strike was carried out after two Palestinians approached the security fence in the southern Strip and placed an explosive device near the fence,” the Israeli army said.
“The device exploded inside Gaza and damaged the fence. No troops were injured,” the army added.

Elias Saleh Yassin, 22
The Palestinian, who was killed by Israeli soldiers near an illegal colony, north of Salfit, in the occupied West Bank, Monday, has been identified as Elias Saleh Yassin, 22, from Biddya village, west of Salfit.
The Palestinian was shot dead by soldiers stationed at the “Gitai” Junction, close to Ariel illegal colony.
The Israeli army said the soldiers shot and killed him “before he was able to attack any of them.
The area is also close to Industrial Zone of Barkan colony, where two Israeli settlers, identified as Ziv Hagbi, 35, and Kim Levengrond Yehezkel, 28, were killed on October 7th 2018.
Yassin is from the same village where Aisha ar-Rabi, 47, lived before she was killed, late on Friday, October 12, 2018, and her husband, Yacoub, was injured, near the Za’tara military roadblock, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, when a group of Israeli colonialist settlers came onto the road and began throwing rocks at their car.

Israeli soldiers killed, Monday, a young Palestinian man after he reportedly attempted to stab an Israeli soldier near Burkan illegal colony, north of Salfit, in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli sources said the Palestinian tried to stab a soldier at a bus stop at “Gitai” Junction, before he was shot dead by another soldier on the scene; no injuries were reported among the soldiers.
They added that two soldiers constantly guard the site of the reported attack, and added that one of them was the person who killed the Palestinian.
A Palestinian ambulance rushed to the scene, but the soldiers stopped it, and prevented the medics from approaching.
The head of the “Samaria Regional Council” of settlements, Yossi Dagan, arrived on the scene, and said that “the soldiers’ vigilance managed to foil the attempted attack,” and added that Israel’s colonies in the West Bank, will always be built and expanded.
On Friday, Israeli soldiers killed seven Palestinians, and injured 252, including 50 children, 10 woman and one journalist, after the army fired dozens of live rounds, in addition to high-velocity gas bombs, during the Great Return March processions, in several parts of the Gaza Strip.
On the same day, a group of Israeli paramilitary settlers attacked a Palestinian couple south of Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank, on Friday, killing the woman and injuring her husband.

Update: Undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated into Jama’in village, south of Nablus, and abducted the suspected stabber, identified as Mo’ez Qassem Hussein, 19, shortly after he returned home.
Prior to abducting the young man, the soldiers closed all roads leading to Nablus, in addition to shutting down Huwwara, Za’tara and Ennab military roadblocks, and the road that leads to Shave Shomron colony, before initiating searches of dozens of Palestinian cars, and inspecting the ID cards of the passengers.

Three Israeli settlers were injured, on Sunday, after a Palestinian allegedly carried out a shooting attack in the Barkan industrial area, near the illegal Israeli settlement of Ariel near Salfit City, in the northern occupied West Bank.
According to Hebrew-language news outlets, the shooting attack was carried out with an M16 assault rifle by a 23-year-old Palestinian, whose identity remained unknown, from the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian entered one of the offices in Barkan, which is part of the illegal Israeli settlement of Ariel, one of the largest settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory, and reportedly shot at three Israeli settlers from a very short distance, injuring all three.
Sources reported that two of the Israeli settlers were critically injured, while the third was severely injured due to the shooting attack.
Sources added the injured received medical treatment on the scene, however, were later transferred to a hospital to receive further treatment.
The three injured were reported to be in moderate condition.
Israeli forces and police sealed off the area and are conducting searches to find the suspected Palestinian.
The Israeli army spokesperson released a statement saying, "The circumstances leading to the incident are still being investigated, and all angles are being examined. The suspect worked for seven months in the industrial area and was granted a work permit which was supposed to expire next month."

A group of Palestinian young men on Friday night hurled Molotov cocktails at Israeli military patrols at the main entrance to Azzun town, east of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the young men attacked soldiers blocking the main entrance to the town.
Consequently, the patrol vehicles stormed the town and spread through its streets, which triggered clashes with local youths.
