A Palestinian man was injured on Saturday during clashes that erupted with Jewish settlers and Israeli occupation forces in Madama town, south of Nablus city.
The official of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas, told WAFA news agency that extremist settlers attacked a Palestinian man, Mamun Nassar, with stones and injured him in the head. He was taken to the hospital, he added.

Medical sources have reported that many Palestinians suffered, Friday, the severe effects of teargas inhalation in Hebron city, and Beit Ummar town, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, after Israeli soldiers invaded them.

A group of Israeli settlers stormed Thursday morning the Palestinian town of Qarawat Bani Hassan west of Salfit accompanied with a number of bulldozers and carried out razing operations.
The PIC reporter quoted the town’s mayor Tamer Rayan as affirming that the Israeli bulldozers leveled Palestinian-owned agricultural lands with the aim of building new housing units in the nearby settlements.
The local activist Khaled Maali pointed out that Israeli razing operations have recently escalated in the province, aiming to expand the eight settlements built illegally near Wadi Qana area in blatant violation of international laws.

Tension prevailed in Bab al-Amud in Occupied Jerusalem as thousands of settlers stormed the Old City on Wednesday evening as part of the "march of flags" marking the 50th anniversary of the occupation of the eastern part of Jerusalem in 1967.
The march was accompanied by provocative dances and racist chants calling for death for Arabs while tight security measures were imposed on the mainly-Arab quarters of the holy city.
The Israeli police closed Bab al-Amud with iron barriers to protect the settlers and to prevent the Palestinian citizens from entering or leaving through it during the Israeli march, according to the PIC reporter.
The PIC reporter said that the Israeli police attacked a march launched by Jerusalemite citizens in conjunction with the settlers' march.
Earlier in the day the Israeli police ordered the merchants of Bab al-Amud and the surrounding area to close their shops at 4 pm to make room for the settlers' tumultuous marches during which they attack the Jerusalemites and their property.
A central march for settler gangs will take place later on Wednesday from the courtyard of al-Buraq Wall to the Old City and the areas around al-Aqsa Mosque. Massive celebrations will be held in the settlement outposts of Jerusalem especially those in Silwan town to the south of al-Aqsa Mosque and they are expected to continue until Thursday morning.

Jewish settlers escorted by soldiers harassed last night Palestinian citizens on a road in the central district of Huwara town, south of Nablus, and injured one of them.
Eyewitnesses said that about 10 settlers, mostly armed, rallied on the main road in Huwara and threatened Palestinians traveling aboard their cars to assault and kill them in the presence of Israeli soldiers.
They added that the settlers also pointed their guns at passing cars and threw stones at them, injuring a driver in the process.
According to the Red Crescent, one of its ambulance crew rushed to the scene, provided first aid for the wounded man and transferred him to a hospital for more medical help.

Israeli settler who shot 23-year-old Palestinian dead speaks out.
An Israeli settler shot and killed a Palestinian youth and injured a journalist yesterday, south of Nablus. The Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement that Moutaz Hussein Hilal Bani Shamsa, 23 from Beita, was killed and AP photojournalist, Majdi Shtayyeh, was wounded after an Israeli settler fired several gunshots at a peaceful march to support Palestinian prisoners who are on hunger strike in Israeli jails. Eyewitnesses and local sources said Bani Shamsa was transferred to Rafidya Governmental Hospital in Nablus where he later succumbed to his wounds. |

A horde of Jewish settlers at dawn Friday set fire to a Palestinian bulldozer in Burin town, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
The bulldozer belongs to Abdul-Azim Idris, who lives a few meters away from the main entrance to Burin town and owns a business there for selling construction materials.
Eyewitnesses told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that several settlers stormed the area aboard a car, poured a flammable material on the bulldozer and set it ablaze.
They added that the entire bulldozer became quickly engulfed in flames before a fire brigade arrived and extinguished the blaze.
The settlers also spray-painted insulting slogans on a stack of concrete blocks at the same site.
