Several Palestinian workers suffocated, Sunday morning, after Israeli troops fired tear-gas at them, in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, near the Al-Tiba crossing into Israel, west of the city.
Local activists on social media reported that tens of Palestinian workers were exposed, early Sunday morning, to tear gas, after Israeli soldiers, stationed in the place, fired many tear gas canisters, towards them. video The social media activists noted that medical crews provided some first aid to many workers at the scene, a number of the workers were transferred by ambulance to nearby clinics. Noteworthy, many Palestinians in various West Bank cities, are forced to seek employment outside of the West Bank, as the economy has been severely strained. |

Israeli navy attacked this morning Palestinian fishermen sailing off the Gaza Strip, causing damage to at least one boat, according to WAFA correspondent.
He said that the navy fired water at fishermen who were sailing off the Sudaniya shore, north of the Gaza Strip, and forced them to return to the harbor.
Meanwhile, Israeli naval boats also attacked another group of fishermen who were sailing off the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, causing damage to at least one boat and forcing the fishermen to return to the harbor.
No injuries were reported.
Israel allows fishermen to sail only three nautical miles into sea in the northern Gaza shores, which they say is not enough to catch fish, a vital source for their daily living.

At least seven Palestinians were injured when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at protesting citizens in Atouf village in the northern Jordan Valley.
Abdullah Besharat, head of Atouf’s village council, said that a Palestinian citizen suffered a rubber bullet injury, while six others choked on tear gas during the attack.
Besharat said that the confrontations flared up when the IOF stopped and detained dozens of Palestinians, who were heading to Bardala village to take part in a popular conference against the annexation, at al-Hamra and Tayasir checkpoints.

Israeli warplanes and artillery bombed several sites in the besieged Gaza Strip late last night causing damage but no injuries, reported WAFA correspondent. video

Palestinians, protesting the Israeli occupation and its settlement activities, today clashed with Israeli soldiers in various parts of the West Bank resulting in several injuries, all minor, according to sources.
In the northern West Bank village of Haris, east of Salfit, soldiers prevented Palestinians from holding the Friday prayer on village land slated for confiscation by the Israeli military, said local sources. The army set up roadblocks at roads leading to Haris and prevented activists who wanted to participate in the protest prayer from reaching it. The residents and activists, anyhow, held the prayer near the military checkpoint at the entrance to the village, said the sources. |
This is the fifth week in a row residents of Haris and activists participate in the Friday prayers on the threatened land in an effort to prevent the Israeli takeover of their land, which will be used for illegal settlement activities in that area.
Further north from Haris, in the village of Kufr Qaddoum, near Qalqilya city, nine Palestinians were injured from rubber-coated metal bullets fired by Israeli soldiers at the participants in the weekly protest in the village against settlement activities in their area, according to Murad Shteiwie, coordinator of the popular resistance in the village.
He said that as in every week, soldiers raid the village and shoot rubber bullets or teargas at the participants in the protest causing the nine injuries from rubber bullets and dozens suffocating from teargas inhalation.

Violent clashes broke out between Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) after the latter stormed the towns of al-Eizariya and Abu Dis in east Jerusalem.
According to local sources in Abu Dis, seven young men suffered from their exposure to tear gas fumes during the clashes with the IOF in the town.
Similar clashes also broke out with the IOF in Eizariya town.
In a separate incident, Israeli police stormed Jabel Mukaber neighborhood in the southeast of Jerusalem and kidnaped a 17-year-old teenager called Issa Abu Sakran from his home. video

Dozens of Palestinians suffered suffocation today from teargas fired by Israeli soldiers at them when the soldiers attempted to block access to the Jordan Valley town of Fasayel for people as well as Palestinian cabinet members and other officials attempting to hold a meeting in that town, reported WAFA correspondent.
He said the soldiers attempted to block the Palestinian officials from reaching Fasayel, north of the ancient city of Jericho, where they were planning to hold a special joint cabinet, Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Fatah meeting in defiance of Israeli plans to annex the Jordan Valley. The soldiers also blocked attempts by Palestinians to reach the area to take part in an anti-annexation rally when the clashes broke out and the soldiers used rubber-coated metal bullets and teargas to disperse the crowds. |

Israeli settlers and soldiers today assaulted Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, according to sources.
They said settlers attacked three Palestinians from the same family in the village of Ras Karkar, to the west of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
The sources told WAFA that a number of settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Nahliel beat three villagers as they were working in their land, causing them several bruises. The three were taken to the hospital for treatment.

A Palestinian infant and her grandparents suffered last night from suffocation after Israeli forces fired a tear gas bomb at their home in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya, local witnesses said.
They said the Israeli forces raided the neighborhood and fired a gas bomb at a house breaking its window and settling in the house leading to the suffocation of the infant Ratil Odeh Derbas, and her grandfather, Mohammad Derbas, who is with special needs, and her grandmother, Abeer Derbas.
