Israeli soldiers attacked, Saturday, a nonviolent procession in Bethlehem, assaulted many reporters and tried to prevent them from documenting the unfolding events.
The procession was organized by the Coordination Committee of the Palestinian factions, and started in front of the Palestinian Women’s Union, in the Cinema Street, in Bethlehem city.
The soldiers started firing gas bombs and concussion grenades at the marchers, and attacked many reporters, in an attempt to prevent them from doing their jobs.
The procession is part of ongoing activities and massive popular protests denouncing Donald Trump’s illegal recognition of occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and his preparation to move the American Consulate from Tel Aviv to the occupied city.
It also commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of the leftist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers have abducted hundreds of Palestinians, injured thousands, and killed eleven Palestinians, since Trump made his illegal announcement, in direct violation of International Law and all related United Nations and Security Council resolutions, in addition to one child who died from serious wounds he suffered in 2014.
On Friday, the soldiers killed four Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and injured at least 367.
The slain Palestinians have been identified as Mohammad Amin Aqel, 19, from Beit Ola, in Hebron, in southern West Bank, Bassel Mustafa Ibrahim, 29, from Anata town, northeast of Jerusalem, Yasser Sokkar, 23, from Sheja’eyya, east of Gaza city, and Ibrahim Abu Thuraya, 29, from al-Boreij refugee camp, central Gaza.

It is worth mentioning that, on December 6, 2017, a Palestinian child, identified as Mohammad Saleh Abu Haddaf, 4, died from serious wounds he suffered on August 8, 2014, when Israeli army drones fired missiles at his family’s home, and several nearby homes, in al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The missile, which struck the family home, killed three family members, identified as Mahmoud Khaled Abu Haddaf, 15, Suleiman Samir Abu Haddaf, 21, and Mahmoud Mohammad Abu Haddaf, 9, and injured at least six others, including Mohammad.

The PPS said the child, Hamed Omar al-Masri, 14, is currently at the Intensive Care Unit, in the Israeli Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Petah Tikva, after undergoing a surgery in his face, and that his health condition remains life-threatening.
It added that the child has three more surgeries scheduled in the coming period, due to the seriousness of his wounds, especially since the Israeli army bullets struck him in his left eye, and nose.

Four Palestinians were killed and 500 others were injured since the wave of protests have swept across occupied Palestinian territories over US recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel.
Israeli naval forces opened fire on Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza Strip on Friday morning.
Locals said that no injuries were reported among fishermen.
Israeli military incursions inside the besieged Gaza Strip and near the “buffer zone," which lies on both land and sea sides of Gaza, have long been a near-daily occurrence.
The Israeli army also regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas if they approach the buffer zone, as the authorities have not made clear the precise area of the designated zone.
The practice has in effect destroyed much of the agricultural and fishing sector of the blockaded coastal enclave, which has been under an Israeli air, land, and sea blockade for 10 years.

Jabour told Quds Press that the assaulted Palestinians have recently obtained a court decision that stipulates their right to enter and work in their lands. IOF troops, however, continued harassing the Palestinian farmers in blatant disregard to the court ruling.
He also pointed out that the violations of Israeli soldiers and settlers against Palestinians in Yatta have escalated over the past few days.

Dozens of thousands of Palestinians marched, Friday, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, and were met by soldiers who resorted to the excessive use of force, leading to dozens of injuries, among them one who was seriously wounded, reportedly after “attempted to stab a soldier.”
The Palestinian, who suffered a serious injury, was not among the protesters, while initial reports indicate that he approached Israeli soldiers near the northern entrance of al-Biereh, in central West Bank, and attempted to stab a soldier.
Israeli sources claim the soldier was mildly injured.
The soldiers shot the Palestinian, inflicting serious wounds, before he was rushed by Palestinian Red Crescent medics to a hospital in Ramallah.
A Video from the scene shows the soldiers shooting the Palestinian from short distance with one live round, as he was trying to approach them, and then fired at least two more rounds at him after he was already injured and subdued.
Furthermore, the army attacked Palestinian protesters in Budrus village, west of Ramallah, and the soldiers fired many live rounds.

A Palestinian youth was critically injured on Friday after being shot multiple times with live ammunition by Israeli forces in the central occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
The young Palestinian man, whose identity remained unknown, reportedly attempted to stab an Israeli soldier with a knife, lightly injuring the soldier.

They added that the soldiers abducted three Palestinians; two of them identified as independent journalist, Zeid Abu Arra, in addition to the head of the Public Relations department of Tubas Governorate, Adham Abu Odah.
The soldiers also shot three Palestinians, and caused dozens to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
